Description
図1に、本実施形態に係る固体高分子電解質型の燃料電池10の一例の概略側面図を示す。また、図2に、本実施形態に係る燃料電池10におけるMEA(膜電極接合体)40の一例の概略断面図を示す。図1における各単セル19は、図2に示すMEA40と、セパレータとの積層体から構成される。
2H2 → 4H++4e−
で示される反応式(水素酸化反応)を経て、水素ガス(H2)から水素イオン(H+)と電子(e−)とが発生する。電子(e−)は拡散層13から外部回路を通り、空気極17の拡散層16から触媒層15に到達する。触媒層15において、供給される空気中の酸素(O2)と、電解質膜11を通過した水素イオン(H+)と、外部回路を通じて触媒層15に到達した電子(e−)により、
4H++O2+4e− → 2H2O
で示される反応式(酸素還元反応)を経て、水が生成する。このように燃料極14及び空気極17において化学反応が起こり、電荷が発生して電池として機能することになる。そして、一連の反応において排出される成分は水であるので、クリーンな電池が構成されることになる。
上記少なくともリップ部に非粘着層を備える燃料電池用のガスケットは、ガスケットを成形する成形工程と、非粘着処理剤をガスケットのリップ部表面の少なくとも一部に塗布する塗布工程と、非粘着処理剤を架橋させる架橋工程と、を含む方法により得られることが好ましい。
Claims (5)
- セパレータ間のシール部材としてガスケットを有する燃料電池であって、
前記ガスケットと、前記ガスケットのリップ部側と隣接するセパレータとの間に非粘着層を備えることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1に記載の燃料電池であって、
前記セパレータは、メタルセパレータであることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1に記載の燃料電池であって、
前記非粘着層は、前記隣接するセパレータよりも撥水性が高い撥水層であることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池であって、
前記非粘着層は、前記隣接するセパレータの少なくとも前記リップ部と接触する部分に設けられていることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池であって、
前記非粘着層は、前記ガスケットのリップ部の少なくとも前記セパレータと接触する部分に設けられていることを特徴とする燃料電池。
