Claims (1)
- 映像または音声の出力装置に接続可能な車載用のデジタル放送受信装置であって、
同一コンテンツを、映像及び/または音声の品質が異なる複数の階層で送信するためのデジタル放送信号が格納されたパケットを受信する受信手段と、
前記複数の階層のデジタル放送信号を、それぞれ映像信号及び/または音声信号に変換する変換手段と、
前記複数の階層のそれぞれについて受信状態を判定し、出力可能な一の階層を選択する選択手段と、
選択された階層の映像信号及び/または音声信号を前記出力装置へ出力する出力手段と、を備え、
前記パケットには、当該パケットがコマーシャル放送の開始、終了に対応するデジタル放送信号を格納している場合には、コマーシャル放送の開始、終了を示す識別情報が付加されており、
前記変換手段は、前記パケットに付加された識別情報を判定して、コマーシャル放送の開始、終了を検出し、
前記選択手段は、選択している階層を第1の階層から当該第1の階層よりも高品質である第2の階層へ復帰させる場合において、前記変換手段によってコマーシャル放送の開始、終了が検出されると、前記第2の階層についてBER(Bit Error Rate)値あるいは電界強度値が所定の基準値を超えているか否かに応じて受信状態の良否を判定し、受信状態が良好である場合には前記第2の階層への切り替えを行い、受信状態が良好でない場合には前記第2の階層への切り替えを行わない、
ことを特徴とする車載用のデジタル放送受信装置。
