Claims (28)
- 心臓の卵円孔開存を治療するためのカテーテルデバイスであって、
近位端および遠位端を有する細長いカテーテル本体と、
該カテーテル本体の遠位端またはその付近にあり、前記卵円孔開存に隣接する組織に当接して当該組織を支持する第1組織並置部材と、
前記カテーテル本体の遠位端またはその付近にあり、前記卵円孔開存に隣接する組織に穿孔して当該組織を支持しつつ、前記第1組織並置部材に相対的に接近可能な第2組織並置部材と、
遠位端またはその付近にあり、並置された前記組織にエネルギを印加して、実質的に卵円孔開存を閉鎖するためのエネルギ伝達部材とを含む、ことを特徴とするカテーテルデバイス。 - 前記第1組織並置部材は、卵円孔開存に隣接する組織に心臓の右心房から接触する、請求項1に記載のカテーテルデバイス。
- 前記第2組織並置部材は、卵円孔開存に隣接する組織に右心房から接触する、請求項2に記載のカテーテルデバイス。
- 閉状態のときに第1および第2組織並置部材を対向可能とする開閉可能な挟持部を備え、前記第2組織並置部材が前記組織に穿刺された状態で前記挟持部が閉状態とされることによって、前記組織が並置される、請求項3に記載のカテーテルデバイス。

- 前記カテーテルデバイスに結合されて、少なくとも一のエネルギ伝達部材により組織に供給されるエネルギの量を感知するための少なくとも一のセンサをさらに含む、請求項1乃至23のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルデバイス。
- 少なくとも一のセンサが、赤外感知デバイス、サーミスタおよび熱電対から成る群から選択される、請求項24に記載のカテーテルデバイス。
- 少なくとも一のセンサに結合され、感知したデータを処理して、供給エネルギの量が所望のエネルギ量に達した時点を決定するマイクロプロセッサをさらに含む、請求項24に記載のカテーテルデバイス。
