Description
図1〜図5は本発明の実施形態1に係る自動二輪車用エンジンの吸気装置を説明するための図であり、図1は断面側面図、図2は断面平面図、図3は噴射口を示す模式図、図4は第1,第2スロットル弁の負荷と開度との関係を示す特性図、図5は燃料噴射タイミングと燃費との関係を示す特性図である。なお、本実施形態において前,後、左,右とはエンジンを車体フレームに搭載して着座した状態で見た場合の前,後、左,右を意味している。
図16Aは、本発明の実施形態2に係るエンジンの断面平面図、図16Bは、本発明の実施形態2に係るエンジンの断面側面図である。なお、図16AではECU(Engine Control Unit)を便宜上省略している。
図20Aは、本発明の実施形態3に係るエンジンの構成を示す断面平面図、図20Bは、本発明の実施形態3に係るエンジンの構成を示す断面側面図である。
図22は、本発明の実施形態4に係るエンジンの構成を示す断面側面図である。
図24A及び図24Bは、実施形態4の変形例1であるエンジンを示す図であり、図24Aは、同エンジンにおけるアクセル全開状態を示す断面側面図、図24Bは同エンジンの低負荷運転域におけるロータリーバルブの状態を示す断面側面図である。
図25A及び図25Bは、実施形態4の変形例2であるエンジンを示す図であり、図25Aは、同エンジンにおけるアクセル全開状態を示す断面側面図、図25Bは同エンジンにおける低負荷運転域におけるロータリーバルブの状態を示す断面側面図である。
Claims (8)
- シリンダへエアを供給するエア供給手段と、
吸気弁及び排気弁を各々駆動させる吸気および排気共用のカムを備え、前記吸気弁及び排気弁の間で回動自在に設けられたカム軸と、
前記シリンダの吸気弁開口に対向する位置で、且つ、前記吸気弁の軸と吸気ポートの中心軸との間であって前記吸気ポートの吸気弁側端部に近接する位置に配置される燃料噴射口を有するインジェクタと、
を具備し、
前記カム軸が前記シリンダの気筒軸線に対して排気側に偏位した位置で配置されて、前記吸気弁と気筒軸線とのなす角度が排気弁と気筒軸線とのなす角度より小さく設定されることによって前記吸気弁、前記排気弁及びこれらを駆動するカム軸が前記気筒軸線に対して前記吸気ポートから離間する方向に偏位して、前記吸気弁は前記排気弁と比較して前記気筒軸線により近づいた起立状態で配置され、
前記インジェクタは、前記燃料噴射口から噴射された燃料と前記エアとの混合気の前記吸気弁開口における実効スポットの直径が前記吸気弁開口の半径よりも小となり、前記実効スポットの軸線が前記吸気弁開口を通り前記シリンダの内周壁に交差する位置で、且つ、前記燃料噴射口から噴射された燃料と前記エアとの混合気が前記シリンダ内でエアーモーションを発生させる角度で、ヘッドシリンダに直付けされ、燃料噴射中に開く前記吸気弁開口から、前記混合気を前記シリンダ内に直接噴射して前記エアーモーションを発生させることを特徴とするエンジン。 - 前記インジェクタは、前記吸気弁開口の開口面から前記燃料噴射口を有する噴射ノズルまでの距離が4.0cm以下となる位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエンジン。
- 前記エア供給手段は、吸気ポートに接続される主通路と、主通路から分岐するとともに開口端部が前記燃料噴射口に近接配置される副通路と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のエンジン。
- 前記主通路上の、前記副通路の分岐箇所を挟んだ位置に第1および第2スロットル弁を設け、
無負荷から所定の部分負荷運転域までは、第1スロットル弁を全閉にするとともに、第2スロットル弁をスロットル操作に応じた開度にすることを特徴とする請求項3記載のエンジン。 - 前記主通路内の前記吸気ポート側に設けられ、無負荷から所定の部分負荷運転域までは全閉するスロットル弁と、
前記スロットル弁の全閉時に、前記副通路へのエアの供給を制御する制御弁と、
を有することを特徴とする請求項3記載のエンジン。 - 前記燃料噴射口からの噴射燃料を前記吸気弁開口側に案内する噴射口と、
前記噴射口を囲むととともに前記燃料噴射口の周囲を囲む環状のエアチャンバと、
前記エアチャンバと前記噴射口内とを連通する連通孔とを有し、
前記エアチャンバには、前記副通路の開口端部が接続され、
前記連通孔のうち前記副通路の開口端部側に位置する連通孔の軸線と上記副通路の開口端部の軸線とは、所定角度以上をなしてずれた方向に向けて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3から5のいずれか一項に記載のエンジン。 - 前記所定角度は、45度である請求項6記載のエンジン。
- 前記吸気ポートは、隔壁によって画成された左右の分岐通路を介して2つの吸気弁開口に接続され、
前記インジェクタは、前記2つの吸気弁開口に向かう分岐流として燃料を噴射し、
前記隔壁には、前記分岐流として噴射された燃料の付着を回避する逃げ部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のエンジン。
