Description
前記ヘッドレストの回転のための駆動力を発生するアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータを作動させて前記ヘッドレストの向きを制御するヘッドレスト制御手段と、
追突発生時に車両乗員に対して働く慣性力の方向を予測する慣性方向予測手段とを備え、
前記ヘッドレスト制御手段は、前記慣性方向予測手段により予測される前記慣性力の働く方向と車両前後車軸とのなす角度に基づいて、前記ヘッドレストの回転量の目標値を算出し、該算出した目標値に基づいて前記ヘッドレストを回転させることを特徴とする。
前記ヘッドレストの移動のための駆動力を発生するアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータを作動させて前記ヘッドレストの横位置を制御するヘッドレスト制御手段と、
追突発生時に車両乗員に対して働く慣性力の方向を予測する慣性方向予測手段とを備え、
前記ヘッドレスト制御手段は、前記慣性方向予測手段により予測される前記慣性力の働く方向上に前記ヘッドレストの横方向の中心位置が来るように、前記ヘッドレストの横位置を変更することを特徴とする。尚、第1の発明と第2の発明は当然ながら組み合わせることは可能である。
前記慣性方向予測手段は、追突発生時に車両乗員に対して働く慣性力の方向を、追突時の衝撃力と遠心力との合力により予測することを特徴とする。

Claims (3)
- ヘッドレストを車両に対して上下方向の軸回りに回転可能に支持するヘッドレスト可動機構と、
前記ヘッドレストの回転のための駆動力を発生するアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータを作動させて前記ヘッドレストの向きを制御するヘッドレスト制御手段と、
追突発生時に車両乗員に対して働く慣性力の方向を予測する慣性方向予測手段とを備え、
前記ヘッドレスト制御手段は、前記慣性方向予測手段により予測される前記慣性力の働く方向と車両前後車軸とのなす角度に基づいて、前記ヘッドレストの回転量の目標値を算出し、該算出した目標値に基づいて前記ヘッドレストを回転させることを特徴とする、ヘッドレスト制御装置。 - ヘッドレストを車両に対して左右方向に移動可能に支持するヘッドレスト可動機構と、
前記ヘッドレストの移動のための駆動力を発生するアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータを作動させて前記ヘッドレストの横位置を制御するヘッドレスト制御手段と、
追突発生時に車両乗員に対して働く慣性力の方向を予測する慣性方向予測手段とを備え、
前記ヘッドレスト制御手段は、前記慣性方向予測手段により予測される前記慣性力の働く方向上に前記ヘッドレストの横方向の中心位置が来るように、前記ヘッドレストの横位置を変更することを特徴とする、ヘッドレスト制御装置。 - 前記慣性方向予測手段は、追突発生時に車両乗員に対して働く慣性力の方向を、追突時の衝撃力と遠心力との合力により予測する、請求項1又は2に記載のヘッドレスト制御装置。
