Description

この発明は、紙箱等の開封手段として使用される引裂帯に関するものである。
紙箱等の開封手段として、ジッパと呼ばれる引裂帯が設けられることがある。図７に示す一般的な引裂帯５１は、２本の切目列５２を並行させ、各切目列５２を、外辺部５３の一端に内向部５４を連設した鉤形の切目５５が断続するようにしたものである。
この引裂帯５１では、一方（この図では左方）から引き裂くと、切目列５２間が千切れることなく紙材を切断できるが、他方から引き裂くと、切目列５２間が千切れて、紙材を切断できなくなることがある。
この問題に対処した引裂帯６１として、図８に示すように、並行する２本の切目列６２を、それぞれ直線切目６３と弧状の谷形切目６４とが交互に断続するものとし、谷形切目６４の中央部を直線切目６３よりも内側へ湾入させ、両方向から引き裂いて開封できるようにしたものが提案されている（特許文献１参照）。

しかしながら、上記のような両方向引裂帯では、紙材の表面に表層剥離が生じやすく、この表層剥離が引裂の進行に伴い拡大し、切断後の美観を損ねることがあった。
そこで、この発明は、両方向から引き裂いて開封でき、表層剥離も防止できる引裂帯を提供することを課題とする。
上記課題を解決するため、この発明は、多数の切目が断続する２本の切目列を並行させた引裂帯において、各切目列は、直線切目と山形切目とが交互に断続するものとし、山形切目の中央部を直線切目よりも外側へ張り出させたのである。
このように切目列を形成すると、いずれの方向から引き裂いても、引張力が外側へ逃がされて、切目列間の千切れが防止されるので、手向きを意識する必要がなく、また、山形切目により表層剥離の拡大も防止されるので、美しく開封することができる。
以下、この発明に係る両方向引裂帯を備えた段ボール箱を例として説明する。図１に示す段ボール箱は、コピー用紙を梱包するものである。
この段ボール箱のブランクでは、図２に示すように、側板１乃至４が順次連設され、側板１の外側縁には継代片５が、側板２，４の上下端縁には内フラップ６が、側板１，３の上下端縁には外フラップ７がそれぞれ連設されている。
側板１乃至４の上部には、上端縁からやや離れて引裂帯１１が設けられ、この引裂帯１１は、２本の切目列１２が並行するものとされている。各切目列１２は、直線切目１３と山形切目１４とが交互に断続するものとされ、山形切目１４の中央部は直線切目１３よりも外側へ張り出している。
ここで、山形切目１４は、図４に拡大して示すように、平坦な中央部へ向けて両端部が傾斜する台形状とされている。
また、図２に示すように、引裂帯１１の両端部には、側板１，４の端縁から切目を入れて摘み部１５，１６が設けられ、継代片５には、摘み部１５の延長線上に２本のミシン目に挟まれた切取部１７が設けられている。
上記ブランクを組み立ててコピー用紙を梱包する際には、側板１乃至４を角筒状に折り曲げ、継代片５を側板４に貼り付け、内フラップ６に外フラップ７を折り重ね、これらを貼り合わせることにより封緘する。
一方、この段ボール箱を開封する際には、図３に示すように、摘み部１５を摘んで引裂帯１１を引っ張り、或いは、摘み部１６と共に切取部１７を摘んで切り取り、引裂帯１１を引っ張ることにより、段ボールを側板１乃至４の全周に亘って切断する。
このとき、上記引裂帯１１では、引裂方向にかかわらず、引張力が外側へ逃がされて、切目列１２間の千切れが防止されるので、手向きを意識する必要がなく、また、山形切目１４により表層剥離の拡大も防止されるので、美しく開封することができる。
なお、山形切目１４は、図５に示すように、連続的に湾曲する円弧状としてもよく、また、図６に示すように、中央部が尖ったＶ字状としてもよい。

Claims (4)

  1. 多数の切目が断続する２本の切目列を並行させた紙材の引裂帯において、各切目列は、直線切目と山形切目とが交互に断続するものとし、山形切目の中央部を直線切目よりも外側へ張り出させたことを特徴とする両方向引裂帯。
  2. 前記山形切目を、平坦な中央部へ向けて両端部が傾斜する台形状としたことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の両方向引裂帯。
  3. 前記山形切目を、連続的に湾曲する円弧状としたことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の両方向引裂帯。
  4. 前記山形切目を、中央部が尖ったＶ字状としたことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の両方向引裂帯。
