Description
図1は、本実施形態に係わるカラー画像形成装置としてのデジタルカラー複写機(以降、単に複写機と称する)1の構成を示す概略断面図である。この複写機1は、両面自動原稿送り装置(RADF:Reversing Automatic Document Feeder)112、画像読み取り部110、及び画像形成部210を備えた構成となっている。
図2は、各現像装置224a〜224dを概略的に示す側面図である。また、図3は、図2のA−Aに沿う断面図である。

Claims (2)
- 現像剤を循環させて搬送しつつ、現像剤に含まれるトナーを現像のために供給する現像剤循環搬送経路と、現像剤循環搬送経路に分岐接続されたトナー補給経路とを備え、トナーをトナー補給経路を通じて現像剤循環搬送経路へと補給する現像装置において、
現像剤循環搬送経路で循環搬送されている現像剤の一部をトナー補給経路に導いて該トナー補給経路のトナーに混入させる現像剤導入手段を備え、
現像剤循環搬送経路は、回転する第1スクリュー軸により現像剤を搬送する第1現像剤経路と、回転する第2スクリュー軸により現像剤を搬送する第2現像剤経路とを有し、現像剤が循環搬送される様に第1現像剤経路と第2現像剤経路の両端を2つの開口部を通じて接続したものであり、
トナー補給経路は、該各開口部の一方近傍で、現像剤循環搬送経路から分岐する様に第1現像剤経路に接続されて該第1現像剤経路の延長上に設けられ、第1スクリュー軸と同軸の第3スクリュー軸によりトナーを現像剤循環搬送経路へと搬送するものであり、
現像剤導入手段は、前記各開口部の一方近傍のみにおいて第1現像剤経路の第1スクリュー軸の羽に形成された切り欠き部と、トナー補給経路内で第3スクリュー軸の羽に形成された少なくとも1つの切り欠き部とであり、第1現像剤経路の第1スクリュー軸の羽の切り欠き部及び第3スクリュー軸の羽の切り欠き部により現像剤循環搬送経路からトナー補給経路へと現像剤を逆流させることを特徴とする現像装置。 - それぞれの現像剤像を形成する各画像形成ステーションをタンデムに配列した画像形成装置において、前記各画像形成ステーションに、請求項1に記載の現像装置をそれぞれ付設したことを特徴とする画像形成装置。
