上記筒状ゴムのゴム接合部が内側から覆われることとなるように、該ゴム接合部に、樹脂フィルムの一方側に所定のマークが反転して設けられたマーク熱転写シートを、該マークが設けられた側を接触させて熱圧着するシート熱圧着ステップをさらに備え、
上記成形型被覆ステップでは、マーク熱転写シートが設けられた状態の筒状ゴムで円筒状成形型を被覆することを特徴とする伝動ベルトの製造方法である。
図1は、本実施形態に係るVリブドベルトBを示す。このVリブドベルトBは、例えば、自動車エンジンの動力を補機駆動のために伝達するものであり、長さ1000〜2500mm、幅10〜20mm及び厚さ4.0〜5.0mmに形成されている。
次に、上記VリブドベルトBの製造方法を、図3〜10に基づいて説明する。
−背面ゴムシート−
所定の短繊維F入り未架橋ゴム組成物をカレンダー出しし、長さ方向に短繊維Fが配向した未架橋ゴムシートを得る。
所定の未架橋ゴム組成物をカレンダー出しし、接着ゴム層12を構成する長尺の接着ゴムシート32を得る。
所定の短繊維F入り未架橋ゴム組成物をカレンダー出しし、短繊維Fが長さ方向に配向した未架橋ゴムシートを得る。
アラミド繊維やポリエステル繊維等の撚糸をRFL水溶液に浸漬した後に加熱する処理、及び必要に応じてゴム糊に浸漬した後に乾燥させる処理を施して心線14を構成する心線用撚糸34に加工する。
図7に示すように、背面ゴムシート31の筒状ゴム31aを一対のローラーの一方に通し、その上に接着ゴムシート32をその幅方向が筒状ゴム31aの軸方向に一致するように配して他方のローラーで圧接させ、筒状ゴム31aの周方向に沿って接着ゴムシート32を一層巻き付けて積層する(ゴムシート巻き付けステップ)。このとき、接着ゴムシート32を突き合わせて接合するが、その接合部が筒状ゴム31aのゴム接合部と重ならないようにする。
外周上に構成材料をセットした円筒状成形型40を成形釜の中に配置した筒状のゴムスリーブに挿入し、成形釜において、円筒状成形型40を高熱の水蒸気などにより加熱すると共に、高圧をかけてゴムスリーブを半径方向内方に押圧する。このとき、ゴム成分が流動すると共に架橋反応が進行し、撚糸のゴムへの接着反応も進行する。そして、これによって、筒状のベルトスラブが成形される。また、マーク熱転写シート35のマークがベルトスラブ内側に転写される。
円筒状成形型40からベルトスラブを取り外し、それを数個に輪切りして分割した後、それぞれの外周を周方向に研磨切削してリブ13aを形成する。

Claims (6)
- 未架橋ゴムシートが周方向に接合されて形成された筒状ゴムを構成する筒状ゴム構成ステップと、
上記筒状ゴム構成ステップで構成した筒状ゴムで、該筒状ゴムの内周長よりも長い外周長を有する円筒状成形型を被覆する成形型被覆ステップと、
を備えた伝動ベルトの製造方法であって、
上記筒状ゴムのゴム接合部が内側から覆われることとなるように、該ゴム接合部に、樹脂フィルムの一方側に所定のマークが反転して設けられたマーク熱転写シートを、該マークが設けられた側を接触させて熱圧着するシート熱圧着ステップをさらに備え、
上記成形型被覆ステップでは、マーク熱転写シートが設けられた状態の筒状ゴムで円筒状成形型を被覆することを特徴とする伝動ベルトの製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載された伝動ベルトの製造方法において、
上記シート熱圧着ステップを、上記筒状ゴム構成ステップの前に行うことを特徴とする伝動ベルトの製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載された伝動ベルトの製造方法において、
上記シート熱圧着ステップを、上記筒状ゴム構成ステップと上記成形型被覆ステップとの間に行うことを特徴とする伝動ベルトの製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載された伝動ベルトの製造方法において、
上記筒状ゴム構成ステップにおいて、上記筒状ゴムを、その内周長が上記円筒状成形型の外周長よりも短くなるように形成することを特徴とする伝動ベルトの製造方法。 - 請求項4に記載された伝動ベルトの製造方法において、
上記筒状ゴムの内周長を上記円筒状成形型の外周長よりも0.25〜5.00%短くすることを特徴とする伝動ベルトの製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載された伝動ベルトの製造方法において、
上記筒状ゴム構成ステップと上記成形型被覆ステップとの間に、上記筒状ゴムの外側に他の未架橋ゴムシートを巻き付けて積層するゴムシート巻き付けステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする伝動ベルトの製造方法。
