(2)様々なセラミック、様々なアルミン(alumine)、および様々なボーキサイト;
(3)シリカ、炭化ケイ素、様々な合成および天然のケイ酸塩と粘土。これらのケイ酸塩と粘土は酸で処理されていることもいないこともある。

本発明の球状触媒の調製
(1)Sn含有Al2O3担体の調製
CN 1150169Aの実施例1の方法に従い、100gのSB水酸化アルミニウム粉末(ドイツのCondea Chemie GmbH製)と適量の脱イオン水を攪拌し、液体/固体の重量比が2.0のスラリとした。7.5mlの希硝酸(体積比1:1)、30gの尿素、および予め決められた量の塩化第1スズ塩酸溶液を、溶液中のSn含量が乾燥アルミナに対して0.30質量%であるように、加えた。得られた内容物を1時間攪拌し、そして30gの灯油、3gの脂肪アルコールポリオキシエチレンエーテルを加え、さらに1時間攪拌し、次いで、滴下することによりオイル-アンモニアカラムで球状にした。湿った球をアンモニア水中、1時間で固化し、次に、濾過し、2〜3回脱イオン水で洗浄し、60℃で6時間、120℃で10時間乾燥し、さらに600℃で4時間焼成してSn含有担体(a)を得た。
100gの球状担体(a)を、濃度2.27質量%の硝酸ユウロピウムの硝酸溶液180mlに加えた。含浸における液体/固体の比は1.8である。24時間含浸後、混合物を濾過し、得られた個体を60℃で6時間、120℃で10時間乾燥し、次に、2〜3%の水蒸気を含む空気中、600℃で4時間焼成して、SnおよびEuを含む担体を得た。
ステップ(2)で得られたSnおよびEu含有担体に、濃度0.58wt%の硝酸セリウム溶液180mlを24時間含浸させた。含浸における溶液/固体の比は1.8である。混合物を濾過し、得られた個体を60℃で6時間、120℃で10時間乾燥し、次に、2〜3%の水蒸気を含む空気中、600℃で4時間焼成して、Sn、Eu、およびCeを含む担体を得た。
前のステップで調製された担体に、予め決められた量の塩化白金酸、塩酸、およびトリクロ酢酸(trichloacetic acid)を配合した混合溶液を含浸させた。混合溶液中のPt含量は、必要とされるPt含量を含む触媒が得られるようなものであり、また塩酸および三塩化酢酸の量は、乾燥アルミナの質量に対してそれぞれ1.2%と5.0%である。混合含浸溶液と担体の液体/固体比は1.8であり、含浸時間は24時間である。含浸、濾過された固体を、60:1の水とHClのモル比で、空気中、510℃で6時間活性化し、次に、純粋な水素により500℃で還元して触媒Fを生成させた。触媒Fの組成は表1に示されている。Pt、Sn、Eu、およびCeの含量を蛍光X線分光法により測定し、また塩素含量を電極法により測定した。
ステップ(3)でセリウムを組み込むための硝酸セリウム溶液の濃度が1.42質量%であり、ステップ(2)および(3)でユウロピウムおよびセリウムが含浸された固体を空気中650℃で6時間焼成したこと以外は実施例1の手順に従って、触媒Gを調製した。水素で還元後の触媒Gの組成は表1に示されている。
ステップ(3)でセリウムを組み込むための硝酸セリウム溶液の濃度が1.70質量%であり、ステップ(4)で、白金が含浸され濾過された固体を、560℃で水とHClのモル比が50:1の条件のもとで、空気中、6時間活性化したこと以外は実施例1の手順に従って、触媒Hを調製した。水素で還元後の触媒Hの組成は表1に示されている。
セリウムを最初にSn含有担体に組み込み、次に、ユウロピウムをそれに組み込み、またCe含浸ステップで用いられる硝酸セリウム溶液の濃度が4.98質量%であること以外は実施例1の手順に従って、触媒Iを調製した。水素で還元後の触媒Iの組成は表1に示されている。
本実施例では、共含浸法を用いることにより、ユウロピウムとセリウムを担体に同時に組み込む。
ステップ(2)および(3)で用いられる含浸溶液が、それぞれ180mlの、3.78質量%の塩化ユウロピウム溶液と1.29質量%の塩化セリウム溶液であること以外は実施例1の手順に従って、触媒Kを調製した。水素で還元された触媒Kの組成は表1に示されている。
Pt、Sn、およびEuを含む球状触媒Aの調製
触媒を、セリウムが担体に組み込まれておらず、ユウロピウムを組み込むための含浸溶液が、0.62質量%の硝酸ユウロピウム溶液180mlであること以外は、実施例1の手順に従って調製した。調製された触媒Aの組成は表1に示されている。
ユウロピウムを組み込むための含浸溶液が、1.36質量%の硝酸ユウロピウム溶液180mlであること以外は比較例1の手順に従って、触媒を調製した。調製された触媒Bの組成は表1に示されている。
ユウロピウムを組み込むための含浸溶液が、2.31質量%の硝酸ユウロピウム溶液180mlであること以外は比較例1の手順に従って、触媒を調製した。調製された触媒Cの組成は表1に示されている。
Pt、Sn、およびCeを含む球状触媒の調製
ユウロピウムが担体に組み込まれておらず、セリウムを組み込むための含浸溶液が、1.70質量%の硝酸セリウム溶液180mlであること以外は実施例1の手順に従って、触媒を調製した。調製された触媒Eの組成は表1に示されている。
本実施例は、本発明の触媒のランタニド元素の原子価を例示する。
本実施例は本発明の触媒の選択性を評価する。
本発明の触媒Jと比較触媒AおよびCを、実施例8のものと同じ評価条件と原料油を用いてマイクロ-リアクタで評価した。結果は図2および3に示されている。
本発明の触媒Jと比較触媒Eを、実施例8のものと同じ評価条件と原料油を用いてマイクロ-リアクタで評価した。結果は図4および5に示されている。
触媒上への炭素堆積速度をRIPP107-90法に従って評価した[Cuiding Yan等による「石油化学工業の分析法(Analytic Methods in Petrochemical Industry)」(RIPP試験法)を参照]。評価に用いられた装置は、米国、LECO Company製のCS-334 Model IR炭素/イオウ分析装置である。結果は表4に示されている。表4の相対炭素堆積速度は次の式により計算される。
本実施例は、本発明でのセリウム含量の本触媒の選択性への影響を評価する。

- IV族金属、Eu、およびCeを、別々に無機酸化物担体に組み込む工程;次いでVIII族金属を組み込む工程;およびそれぞれを組み込んだ後、各成分を乾燥、焼成する工程を含む請求項1に記載の触媒の調製方法。
- 前記VIII族金属が白金である請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒の調製の間に共沈または共含浸により、EuおよびCeが担体に同時に組み込まれる請求項8に記載の方法。
- 温度が370〜700℃であり、水とHClのモル比が1.0〜150:1である水-塩素調節法により、ハロゲンが組み込まれる請求項8に記載の方法。
