Claims (8)
- 固形化学薬品を供給するための方法であって、
水浸漬時に溶解して溶液を形成する固形化学薬品を各々収容する2以上の供給ボウル(14,16)と、
各ボウルへ水を供給する供給源(26)と、
上記2以上の供給ボウルの一方のボウル(14)への水の供給を制御するため水の供給源(26)に連結された第1バルブ(54)と、
他方のボウル(16)への水の供給を制御するため水の供給源(26)に連結された第2バルブ(56)と、
各供給ボウルから溶液を受け入れる液溜め(12)と、
溶液の導電率を検知するため溶液と連絡した状態で液溜め(12)に支持されたセンサ(72)と、
制御ユニット(68)と
を備える固形化学薬品供給システムにおいて、
第1バルブ(54)を常時開に設定して一方のボウル(14)へ水を流し、
第2バルブ(56)を常時閉に設定して他方のボウル(16)へ水が流れるのを防ぎ、もって一方のボウル(14)を一次ボウルとし、他方のボウル(16)をバックアップボウルとして機能させ、
一方のボウル(14)から溶液を受け入れて液溜め(12)に溶液を所定液位で収容し、
センサ(72)によって溶液の導電率を検知して、溶液が所定導電率に達すると、上記一方のボウル(14)内の化学薬品が消尽したことを示す信号を発生させ、
制御ユニット(68)によって、上記信号に応答して、第1バルブ(54)を閉じて一方のボウル(14)に水が流れるのを防止し、第2バルブ(56)を開いて他方のボウル(16)へ水を流し、もって他方のボウル(16)を一次ボウルへと切り換える
ことを含む方法。 - センサ(72)が所定の導電率を検出した後の所定時間バルブシステム(54,56)の作動を遅延させることを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 加圧された水を各ボウルに供給することを含む、請求項1又は請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記液溜め(12)内に配置された、複数のスプレー噴出口(52)を有するマニホールド(50)によって、液溜め(12)に水を導入することを含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 水の供給源(26)に連結された第3バルブ(46)によって、前記マニホールド(50)を介して液溜め(12)への水の導入を制御することを含む、請求項4記載の方法。
- 溶液と連絡した状態で液溜め(12)に支持された低液位スイッチ(64)によって液溜め(12)内の溶液の液位が所定液位を下回った時に制御ユニット(68)に信号を送ることを含む、請求項5記載の方法。
- 低液位スイッチ(64)からの信号に応答して、第3バルブ(46)を開いてマニホールド(50)を介して液溜め(12)へ水を流すことを含む、請求項6記載の方法。
- さらに、液溜め(12)に収容された溶液と連絡した状態で液溜め(12)に支持された高液位スイッチ(62)によって液溜め(12)内の溶液の液位が所定液位に達した時に制御ユニット(68)に信号を送り、該信号に応答して、第1、第2及び第3バルブ(54,56,46)の全てのバルブを閉位置に保つ信号を発生してボウルと液溜め(12)に水が流れるのを防ぐことを含む、請求項7記載の方法。
