粒状体を製造するために、出発材料を混合し、押出成形機に投入し、小粒状体へと転化した(d: 0.8 - 1.2 mm; I: 1.8 - 3 mm)。
粒状体1(G1): 100 P の PP1、 20 P の POM1、 1 P の タルク、 0.5 P の ワックス1
粒状体2(G2): 100 P の PP1、 34 P の POM1、 2.8 P の タルク、 0.5 P の ワックス1
粒状体3(G3): 100 P の PP1、 25 P の ガラス、 0.5 P の ワックス1
粒状体4(G4): 100 P の PP1、 20 P の PA1、 1 P の タルク、 0.5 P の ワックス1
粒状体5(G5): 100 P の PP1、 25 P の PVP1、 1.25 P の タルク、 0.6 P の ワックス1

表は、得られたかさ密度、及びこれらの発泡体ビーズで測定された連続気泡の比率を示している。連続気泡の比率は、DIN ISO 4590に従って発泡体ビーズで測定された。
いずれの場合にも、100Pの粒状体、6.7Pのアンチブロック1、0.13Pの界面活性剤1、230Pの水、表中に示された量のn/i−ブタンが、密閉圧力撹拌タンクへと投入された。次にタンクは、約55分間をかけて表に示された含浸温度(IMT)まで加熱され、この温度に達したときに、その内容物を雰囲気圧へと減圧することにより、粒状体が発泡した。
いずれの場合にも、100Pの粒状体、8.75Pのアンチブロック2、0.33Pの界面活性剤2、234Pの水、表中に示された量のn/i−ブタンが、密閉圧力撹拌タンクへと投入された。次にタンクは、約55分間をかけて表に示された含浸温度(IMT)まで加熱され、この温度に達したときに、その内容物を雰囲気圧へと減圧することにより、粒状体が発泡した。
Claims (7)
- プロピレンポリマー及び1〜40質量%の気泡オープナーを含む連続気泡発泡体ビーズであって、
前記気泡オープナーが、ポリアミド、ポリオキシメチレン、0.25〜5mmの長さを有するカットグラス、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニルアセテート、又はポリエチレンオキシドであり、且つ当該連続気泡発泡体ビーズが、1〜10mmの平均ビーズ径と5〜200g/lのかさ密度とを有し、さらに40%より大きい連続気泡比率(DIN ISO 4590による)を有することを特徴とする連続気泡発泡体ビーズ。 - 前記プロピレンポリマーが、プロピレンのホモポリマー、又は15質量%以下のエチレン及び/又は1−ブテンとプロピレンとのコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の連続気泡発泡体ビーズ。
- DSC熱記録図において、使用されるプロピレンポリマーの溶融ピークよりも高温側にある少なくとも1つの高温ピークを有している、請求項1に記載の連続気泡発泡体ビーズ。
- 平均気泡径が、0.01〜0.5mmである、請求項1に記載の連続気泡発泡体ビーズ。
- 懸濁液中のプロピレンポリマービーズを、圧力容器中において高温下で揮発性発泡剤に含浸させ、続けてその混合物を減圧することにより請求項1に記載の連続気泡発泡体ビーズを製造する方法であって、プロピレンポリマービーズが1〜40質量%の気泡オープナーを含み、且つ気泡オープナーが、ポリアミド、ポリオキシメチレン、0.25〜5mmの長さを有するカットグラス、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニルアセテート、又はポリエチレンオキシドであることを特徴とする製造方法。
- 前記発泡剤が、−5〜150℃の沸点を有する有機化合物、又は無機気体である請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の発泡体ビーズの後発泡及びか焼により製造される連続気泡発泡体成形物。
