Description
本発明の樹脂粒子は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体とカルボキシル基を有する単量体を含む単量体成分を共重合してなり、スルホン酸(塩)基を有する界面活性剤で表面が被覆されてなる架橋(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系樹脂粒子である。
なお、本明細書において、「(メタ)アクリル」とは、アクリル及びメタクリルの両方を含む概念である。
[式中、R1は置換基を有していてもよい炭素数5〜30のアルキル基又はアルケニル基、R2は水素原子又はメチル基、Mは水素原子又はカチオンを示す。]
一般式(I)において、R1としては、炭素数6〜24のアルキル基又はアルケニル基が好ましい。具体例としては、ヘキシル、オクチル、ノニル、デシル、ウンデシル、ドデシル、テトラデシル、ヘキサデシル、オクタデシル、エイコシル、ドコシル、テトラコシル、デセニル、ドデセニル、テトラデセニル、ヘキサデセニル、オクタデセニル、エイコセニル等が挙げられる。また、アルキル基又はアルケニル基の置換基としては、水酸基、カルボキシル基、エステル基、エーテル基、アミド基等が挙げられる。
重合温度や重合時間は特に限定されるものではないが、重合温度は40〜100℃、重合時間は1〜15時間が好ましい。
シリコーン系高分子化合物粒子に表面を被覆された樹脂粒子を用いることで、化粧料の皮膚からの脱落を防ぐことができ、化粧料の持続性が向上する。また、樹脂粒子になめらかな感触を付与することができる。
本発明の化粧料中、本発明の架橋(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系樹脂粒子の含有量は、その化粧料の目的に応じて適宜選択することができ、特に限定されるものではないが、0.1〜50質量%が好ましく、1〜30質量%がさらに好ましい。
硫酸ジエチル7.57g(0.0491mol)と2−エチル−2−オキサゾリン263g(2.65mol)を脱水した酢酸エチル550gに溶解し、窒素雰囲気下15時間加熱還流し、末端反応性ポリ(N−プロピオニルエチレンイミン)を合成した。ここに、側鎖1級アミノプロピル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン(信越化学工業製 KF−864)250gの33%酢酸エチル溶液を一括して加え、12時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を減圧濃縮し、オルガノポリシロキサンにポリ(N−プロピオニルエチレンイミン)がグラフトした共重合体を淡黄色固体(500g、収率98%)として得た。重量平均分子量は88,400であった。また、溶媒としてメタノールを使用した塩酸による中和滴定の結果、アミノ基は残存していないことがわかった。
得られた共重合体のポリ(N−プロピオニルエチレンイミン)の分子鎖とオルガノポリシロキサンの分子鎖との質量比は49/51であった。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート(LMA)82g、メタクリル酸(MAA)3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート(EGDMA)15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウム(SMT)を0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が2.2μmになるまで分散させた。
該樹脂粒子分散液を凍結乾燥し、水を乾燥させることにより樹脂粒子を得た。
ビーカーに製造例1で得られた共重合体10g、エタノール30gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにイオン交換水70gを加えて混合攪拌することにより、平均粒径18nmのシリコーン系高分子化合物粒子の水分散液を得た。
<平均粒径測定法>
シリコーン系高分子化合物粒子の水分散液を動的光散乱法型粒度分布計(HONEYWELL社製 MICROTRAC 型番9340-UPA)にて、シリコーン系高分子化合物粒子の絶対屈折率を1.40、水の絶対屈折率を1.33の条件にて、粒径を測定した際のメジアン径を平均粒径とした。
また、この樹脂粒子を透過型電子顕微鏡(TEM)で撮影したところ、図1に示すようにシリコーン系高分子化合物粒子が被覆していることを確認できた。
ビーカーにステアリルメタクリレート(SMA)82g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合撹拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウムを0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径2.4μmになるまで分散させた。
この樹脂粒子は、実施例1と同様にSMTのみが有する窒素原子が粒子表面に存在することを確認できた。
ビーカーにブチルアクリレート(BA)82g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合撹拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウムを0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径3.5μmになるまで分散させた。
この樹脂粒子は、実施例1と同様にSMTのみが有する窒素原子が粒子表面に存在することを確認できた。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート96g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート1g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウムを0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が4.5μmになるまで分散させた。
この樹脂粒子は、実施例1と同様にSMTのみが有する窒素原子が粒子表面に存在することを確認できた。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート47g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート50g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウムを0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が4.0μmになるまで分散させた。
この樹脂粒子は、実施例1と同様にSMTのみが有する窒素原子が粒子表面に存在することを確認できた。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート82g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウムを0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が2.2μmになるまで分散させた。

4つ口フラスコにこの分散液を注ぎ込み、実施例1と同様の操作により樹脂粒子を得た。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート82g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウムを0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が11μmになるまで分散させた。
4つ口フラスコにこの分散液を注ぎ込み、実施例1と同様の操作により樹脂粒子を得た。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート85g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにN−ステア ロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウムを0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が2.4μmになるまで分散させた。
4つ口フラスコにこの分散液を注ぎ込み、実施例7と同様の操作により樹脂粒子を得た。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート82g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにドデシル硫酸ナトリウム(SDS)を0.75g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が2.5μmになるまで分散させた。
4つ口フラスコにこの分散液を注ぎ込み、実施例1と同様の操作により樹脂粒子を得た。
ビーカーにラウリルメタクリレート82g、メタクリル酸3g、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート15g、ラウロイルパーオキサイド2gを仕込み混合攪拌して溶解させた。ここにポリビニルアルコール(PVA、商品名:ゴーセノールEG−30、日本合成化学製)を1.5g溶解させたイオン交換水400gを加え、ホモミキサーで粒径が5.8μmになるまで分散させた。
4つ口フラスコにこの分散液を注ぎ込み、実施例1と同様の操作により樹脂粒子を得た。
樹脂粒子を(株)堀場製作所レーザー回折散乱式粒度分布測定装置(型番:LA920)に
て、相対屈折率が1.10(樹脂粒子の屈折率を1.46、水の屈折率を1.33とする)の条件にて、粒径を測定した際のメジアン径を平均粒径とした。
樹脂粒子を、(株)島津製作所製微小圧縮試験機MCT-M200にて、29mgf/sの一定負荷速度で1gfの荷重まで圧縮試験を行い、粒子径の10%変形時の荷重と粒子径とから下記式によって算出した。10点の試料について測定を行い、その平均値をもって圧縮強度とした。
常温、常湿下で、各樹脂粒子0.2gを、指を用いて前腕部に均一に塗布し、ひっかかりのなさ、つるつる感を指でこすることにより官能評価し、下記の基準に従いスコア化し た。
◎…ひっかかりが感じられず、非常につるつるする
○…ひっかかりがほとんどなく、つるつるする
△…ひっかかかりが若干感じられ、あまりつるつるしない
×…非常にひっかかり、全くつるつるしない
<さらさら感評価法>
常温、常湿下で、各樹脂粒子0.2gを、指を用いて前腕部に均一に塗布し、滑りのよさ、さらさら感を指でこすることにより官能評価し、下記の基準に従いスコア化した。
◎…非常に滑りが良く、非常にさらさらする
○…滑りが良く、さらさらする
△…やや滑りが悪く、ざらつく
×…滑りが悪く、非常にざらつく
<持続性評価法>
常温、常湿下で、各樹脂粒子0.2gを、指を用いて前腕部に均一に塗布し、塗布後1時間経過後に、滑りのよさ及びさらさら感の持続性を下記基準で評価した。
◎…1時間経過後、非常に滑りが良く、非常にさらさらする
○…1時間経過後、滑りが良く、さらさらする
△…1時間経過後、やや滑りが悪く、ざらつく
×…1時間経過後、滑りが悪く、非常にざらつく
MAA:メタクリル酸
LMA:ラウリルメタクリレート
SMA:ステアリルメタクリレート
BA:ブチルアクリレート
EGDMA:エチレングリコールジメタクリレート
SMT:N−ステアロイル−N−メチルタウリンナトリウム
SDS:ドデシル硫酸ナトリウム
PVA:ポリビニルアルコール。
実施例1で得られた樹脂粒子4gにエタノール48g、イオン交換水48gを加えて撹拌した。その後、不織布上に塗布してシートを得た。このシートで肌を清拭することにより、なめらかでさらさらした感触が得られた。
エキセパールIPP(花王(株)製、商品名、パルミチン酸イソプロピル)5g、イソペンタン20gを混合し、実施例1で得られた樹脂粒子6gを分散させた。それらの組成物をエアゾール缶に入れ、LPG69gを充填し、スプレーを得た。このスプレーを肌に吹きかけることにより、なめらかでさらさらした感触が得られた。
Claims (6)
- アクリル酸エステル及びメタクリル酸エステルから選ばれる少なくとも1種の単量体とカルボキシル基を有する単量体を含み、全単量体成分中のアクリル酸エステル及びメタクリル酸エステルから選ばれる少なくとも1種の単量体の割合が30〜98質量%、カルボキシル基を有する単量体の割合が0.1〜30質量%である単量体成分を共重合してなり、下記一般式(I)で表されるスルホン酸基又はスルホン酸塩基を有する界面活性剤で表面が被覆されてなる、平均粒径が1〜10μmの架橋(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系樹脂粒子。

[式中、R1は、置換基として水酸基、カルボキシル基、エステル基、エーテル基又はアミド基を有していてもよい炭素数5〜30のアルキル基又はアルケニル基、R2は水素原子又はメチル基、Mは水素原子又はカチオンを示す。] - 樹脂粒子中のカルボキシル基の中和度が1〜30%である請求項1記載の樹脂粒子。
- 圧縮強度が0.7〜15kgf/mm2である、請求項1又は2記載の樹脂粒子。
- さらにシリコーン系高分子化合物粒子で表面が被覆されてなる、請求項1〜3いずれかに記載の樹脂粒子。
- 請求項1〜4いずれかに記載の樹脂粒子を含有する化粧料。
- スルホン酸基又はスルホン酸塩基を有する界面活性剤を分散剤として用い、アクリル酸エステル及びメタクリル酸エステルから選ばれる少なくとも1種の単量体とカルボキシル基を有する単量体を含む単量体成分を共重合する、請求項1〜4いずれかに記載の架橋(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系樹脂粒子の製法。
