Description
(1)特許文献1の装置:中心部寄りおよび外周部寄りに配置されるいずれの弾性体もゴム部材自体からなり、金属板などの付属部材を備えていない。したがって、弾性体が別の部材に機械的に固定されないために、弾性体が経年的に老化して塑性変形により収縮し、入力軸間と出力軸間に、ガタ(隙間)が生じやすい。
前記駆動側リブと前記従動側リブの対向するリブ面に取り付けられる一対の方形の板状金具を備え、前記各板状金具の弾性体接合面のほぼ中央部又は中央部を含む幅方向に、相対向して突出する隆起状の堰を設け、前記板状金具の周縁部において、厚みを全周にわたり低くして段差を設けたことを特徴としている。
前記駆動側リブと前記従動側リブの対向するリブ面に当接してそれぞれ配置される一対の方形の板状金具の一端に、前記駆動側および前記従動側リブにボルト止めするための取付片を直角方向に外向きに形成し、前記各板状金具のゴム接合面のほぼ中央部又は中央部を含む(板状金具の)幅方向に、相対向して突出する隆起状の堰(隆起部)を設け、前記板状金具の周縁部において、厚みを全周にわたり低くして段差を設けたことを特徴としている。
また、段差を設けたことによって弾性体と板状金具との境界部分での接触面積が拡大し、圧縮時や引っ張り時に弾性体に作用する負荷を分散でき応力集中を避けられる。このため、板状金具の平面部と段差部との弾性体の境界部分に生じる傷の発生を抑制できる。
さらに、図1(c)に記載のゴムエレメントにおいて、図2(a)に示すように弾性体と板状金具の段差の一部(板状金具の段差の圧縮方向と垂直をなす面)とに接着しない箇所を設け、弾性体が圧縮荷重を受けた際に弾性体が自由に変形可能な領域をもつ構造にすると、一層望ましい。このようにすれば、図2(b)に示すように、金具上に弾性体が盛り上がって載っている状態で弾性体に引っ張りと圧縮が作用するのと同じで、金具と弾性体の接触部分は圧縮・引っ張り方向と平行であるせん断方向の力を受け、変位はゴムエレメント全体のばね剛性に依存するために、せん断応力であるにも拘わらず圧縮応力発生時と同じ歪みしか生じないので、その部分の応力が大幅に低減され、従来のゴムエレメントに比べて応力が1/3以下になる。

Claims (5)
- 駆動側フランジと従動側フランジとにそれぞれ円周方向に間隔をあけかつ干渉しないように対向して突設された前記駆動側リブと前記従動側リブとの間に介設され、弾性体を圧縮しながら動力を伝達する圧縮型弾性軸継手のゴムエレメントであって、
前記駆動側リブと前記従動側リブの対向するリブ面に取り付けられる一対の方形の板状金具を備え、
前記各板状金具の弾性体接合面のほぼ中央部又は中央部を含む幅方向に、相対向して突出する隆起状の堰を設け、
前記板状金具の周縁部において、厚みを全周にわたり低くして段差を設けたことを特徴とする圧縮型弾性継手のゴムエレメント。 - 軸方向に所定間隔をあけて同心軸上に配置された駆動軸端と従動軸端とにそれぞれ一体回転可能に設けた駆動側フランジと従動側フランジとに、それぞれ円周方向に等間隔にかつ干渉しないように相互に対向して平行に突設された前記駆動側リブと前記従動側リブとの空間部において半径方向に介設され、圧縮されながら動力を伝達する圧縮型弾性軸継手のゴムエレメントであって、
前記駆動側リブと前記従動側リブの対向するリブ面に当接してそれぞれ配置される一対の方形の板状金具の一端に、前記駆動側および前記従動側リブにボルト止めするための取付片を直角方向に外向きに形成し、
前記各板状金具のゴム接合面のほぼ中央部又は中央部を含む幅方向に、相対向して突出する隆起状の堰を設け、
前記板状金具の周縁部において、厚みを全周にわたり低くして段差を設けたことを特徴とする圧縮型弾性継手のゴムエレメント。 - 前記堰の形状を正面より見て円形で断面略半球形状とし、その周縁部で高さがなだらかに変化して低くなるように形成した請求項1又は請求項2記載の圧縮型弾性継手のゴムエレメント。
- 一対の前記板状金具間に接着される直方体状の弾性体を、全周にわたり断面形状において板状金具近くで外方へやや突状に膨らみ中間部で内方へやや凹状に窪むように形成した請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の圧縮型弾性継手のゴムエレメント。
- 前記板状金具の外面においてほぼ中央位置に、固定用ボルトのねじ孔を前記堰の内部に向けて穿設するとともに、前記ねじ孔の底端部を平坦にした請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の圧縮型弾性継手のゴムエレメント。
