Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明は合成樹脂フラットフイルムを筒状に折り曲げ
て背貼りシールする方法に関する。
(従来技術) 従来、レーザビームにより合成樹脂フイルムをシール
する場合、フラットな合成樹脂フイルムをフオーマーに
導びき、筒状となしフオーマー上の該合成樹脂フイルム
端部同志の重合部に第3図の断面図で示すように直接レ
ーザービームを照射していた。然るに、該合成樹脂フイ
ルム端部重合部に往々にして弛みが存在するため、フイ
ルム端が上方にはね上ったり、重合フイルム相互間に空
間部が必然的に生じ、重合フイルム接着面の温度差によ
り接着不良を起こすばかりでなく、フオーマー自体が加
熱される結果、フイルム裏面側が収縮し、シワを生ずる
欠点があった。
(課題を解決するための手段) 発明はかかる問題を改善せんとするもので、その要旨
はフラットフイルムを筒状に折り曲げて背貼りシールす
るに当り、フラットフイルムの端部同志の重合部を支持
し得る中子をフオーマー上に配して該中子上面の凸状平
面上でフラットフイルム端部同志を密着重合させてレー
ザー光線を照射すること特徴とする。
以下、本発明を更に詳細に説明する。
第1図は本発明の実施態様を示す斜視図、第2図は中
子部分の一例を示す断面図である。本発明は第1図に示
すようにフラットフイルム1を送りスピード40〜80m/mi
nでフオーマー2に導びき、フオーマー2上に配した中
子3上面の凸状平面上でフイルムの端部同志が密着重合
するようにフイルム1を誘導する。中子3上面の凸状平
面上に密着状態に支持されたフラットフイルム1の端部
同志の重合部に炭酸ガスレーザー照射装置4によりレー
ザービームを照射する。中子3はアルミ合金、ステンレ
ス等からなり、第2図に示すようにフオーマー2のほぼ
中央部に頂部を平面状とし、幅方向両側に漸次低くなる
ような傾斜面を設けてある。凸状平面部の面積は25〜20
0mm2高さは3〜20mm程度とする。凸状平面部は鏡面状と
し、反射性を付与することが望ましい。かくすればレー
ザービームの反射によりレーザー光の吸収効率を向上し
得て好ましい。中子3としては通常、平板上のほぼ中央
部に前述の凸状平面部を有する凸状体を一体的に設けた
ものが好適に用いられる。
(発明の効果) 本発明は以上述べたようにフラットフイルムの端部同
志の重合部を支持し得る中子をフオーマー上に配して該
中子上面の凸状平面上でフラットフイルム端部同志を密
着重合させてレーザー光を照射するようにしたので,走
行するフイルムの引取り張力と中子の凸状平面部の支持
機能とあいまってフイルムの弛みが解消され、接着も確
実に行われるのみならず、フイルム裏面側にシワ等が発
生することもないものである。

  1. 【請求項1】フラットフイルムを筒状に折り曲げて背貼
    りシールするに当り、フラットフイルムの端部同志の重
    合部を支持し得る中子をフオーマー上に配して該中子上
    面の凸状平面上でフラットフイルム端部同志を密着重合
    させてレーザー光線を照射することを特徴とする背貼り
    シール方法。
