Abstract

 本発明は、樹脂製部材同士をレーザ溶着によって接合するにあたって、その接合に用いられる基台や治具と樹脂製部材との接触面において、樹脂製部材の溶融を防止することが可能な樹脂製部材の接合方法を提供する。この、接合方法においては、樹脂製部材1は基台3に載置される。基台3の樹脂製部材1と接触する面は光学鏡面となっていることを特徴とする。樹脂製部材1の表面に光吸収剤4を塗布し、その上に樹脂製部材2を重ね、樹脂製部材2側からレーザ光10を照射することで、樹脂製部材1と樹脂製部材2との接合面の樹脂を溶融させ、両部材を接合する。接合面を透過したレーザ光11は、樹脂製部材1と基台3とが接触する接触面に到達するが、接触面では、レーザ光11は散乱あるいは吸収されずに透過するので、樹脂製部材の溶融が防止される。
