Abstract
Description
本発明に用いる発泡体基材は、ポリオレフィン系樹脂組成物の発泡体からなる基材である。ポリオレフィン系樹脂組成物は、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体と他のポリオレフィン系樹脂を含むことが好ましい。エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体は、直鎖低密度ポリエチレンと比較して高いゴム弾性を示す。したがって、ポリオレフィン系樹脂組成物中に適当量のエチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体を配合すれば、発泡体基材中の独立気泡の気泡径を小さくしても、粘着テープの基材の用途に適したゴム弾性を維持できる傾向にある。その結果、気泡径の小径化が可能となり、高圧縮時の圧縮強度や層間強度の調整も容易になる。一方、他のポリオレフィン系樹脂としては、例えば、ポリエチレン系樹脂、ポリプロピレン系樹脂、またはこれらの混合物が挙げられる。特に、直鎖低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)や、エチレンプロピレンゴム(EPDM)がより好ましい。
本発明に用いる粘着剤層は特に制限されない。粘着剤層を構成する粘着剤組成物としては、例えばアクリル系、ゴム系、シリコーン系、ウレタン系等公知の様々な粘着剤組成物を使用できる。中でも、耐衝撃性、接着力、防水性等の観点から、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体を含むアクリル系粘着剤組成物が好ましい。一方、粘着剤層は、粘着付与樹脂を含まないことが好ましい。粘着付与樹脂を含むと、粘着剤が軟化して耐衝撃性や接着性が低下する場合があるからである。
本発明の粘着テープは、ポリオレフィン系発泡体基材の片面又は両面に粘着剤層を有する。粘着剤層は基材の片面だけに形成しても良いが、両面に形成して両面粘着テープとすることが好ましい。
攪拌機、温度計、還流冷却機及び窒素ガス導入管を備えた反応装置に、表に示す量(質量%)の成分(A1)~(A5)と、酢酸エチル、連鎖移動剤としてn-デカンチオール及び過酸化物系ラジカル重合開始剤としてラウリルパーオキサイド0.1部を仕込んだ。反応装置内に窒素ガスを封入し、撹拌しながら窒素ガス気流下で68℃、3時間、その後78℃、3時間で重合反応させた。その後、室温まで冷却し、酢酸エチルを添加した。これにより、固形分濃度30%のアクリル系共重合体(A)を得た。

・流速:1.0mL/分
・カラム温度:40℃
・注入量:100μL
・検出器:屈折率計(RI)
・測定サンプル:アクリル系ポリマーをTHFに溶解させ、アクリル系ポリマーの濃度が0.5質量%の溶液を作製し、フィルターによるろ過でゴミを除去したもの。

「4-HBA」:4-ヒドロキシブチルアクリレート
「Vac」:酢酸ビニル
厚さ1.0mmのエチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)を適当量含むポリエチレン(PE)系発泡体からなる基材(引張弾性率=141N/mm2、曲げモーメント=25gf/cm、発泡倍率=11倍、平均気泡径=0.123mm、密度=90kg/m3)を用意した。そして、この基材の両面をコロナ放電処理し、基材の両面に製造例1で得た離型紙上の粘着剤層を貼り合せ、40℃で3日間養生して、両面粘着テープを得た。
粘着剤層として、製造例2及び3で得た粘着剤層を使用したこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして両面粘着テープを得た。
基材として、厚さ1.0mmのフィルムサポートポリウレタン系発泡体(S&K POLYTEC社製、商品名NANOCELLTM PSR、引張弾性率=5302N/mm2、曲げモーメント=21gf/cm、発泡倍率=2.4倍、平均気泡径=0.063mm、密度=410kg/m3)を使用したこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして両面粘着テープを得た。
基材を幅(W)10mm、長さ70mmの短冊状(長辺がMD方向)に裁断し、これを試験片とした。そして、厚さを1/100ダイヤルゲージ(N=5)で測定し、5点の平均値を厚さ(t)とし、以下の式から試験片の断面積(S)を求めた。

比較例1:直線式y=1.9x+0.01、引張弾性率 380N/mm2
比較例2:直線式y=1.195x+0.0761、引張弾性率 240N/mm2
比較例3:直線式y=29.65x-1.1825、引張弾性率 5302N/mm2
基材(又は両面粘着テープ1)を幅38mm、長さ50mmの短冊状に裁断し、これを試験片とした。得られた試験片を図1に示すような4本の端子2に挟み込んだ。そして、JIS P8125に準じ、市販のテーバー剛性度試験機(東洋精機製作所社製)の試験時に稼働する部分に設置し、上下10gの重りを振り子へ取り付け、曲げ速度3°/sec、曲げ角度15°の時の目盛を読み、これを測定値とした。そして、この測定値を以下の計算式に代入し、MD方向及びTD方向の曲げモーメント(M)を算出した。

実施例及び比較例で得た両面粘着テープを、厚さが12mmになるまで重ね合せ、((株)島津製作所製、AG-20kNX)を用いて、測定(解析)ソフトはトラペジウムX、測定モードはシングルの条件で、JIS K 7181に準じ圧縮率0~80%の圧縮強度を測定し、マスターカーブを作成し、60%、65%、70%、75%、80%の圧縮強度を得た。結果を表3に示す。また、図2に実施例及び比較例の各マスターカーブを示す。
実施例及び比較例で得た両面粘着テープの両面に、片面アルマイト処理されたアルミニウム箔を貼り合せ、2kgローラで1往復して圧着した。圧着後、23℃50%Rh下で30分養生し、市販の引張試験装置(東洋精機製作所社製、装置名ストログラフV1-C、フルスケール100N)でアルミニウム箔を上下でチャックした。その後、引張速度300mm/分で引張り、発泡体の引き裂きにかかる力(N/cm)を測定した。結果を表3に示す。
実施例及び比較例で得た両面粘着テープを、以下の方法で評価した。結果を表4に示す。
両面粘着テープを幅(W)10mm、長さ70mmの短冊状(長辺がMD方向)に裁断し、これを試験片とした。JIS K7161 2014に準じ、引張試験装置(東洋精機製作所社製、装置名ストログラフV1-C、フルスケール200N)のチャック間隔(L)を50mmに設定し、試験片の上端及び下端をチャックした。その後、引張速度300mm/分で引張り、粘着テープが破断したときにかかる力(N/cm)と破断するまでに伸びた長さ(%)を測定した。
図3に示すように、両面粘着テープ4を所定幅(約1mm)で60mm×120mmの枠状に裁断し、一方の離型紙を剥離して、0.5mm厚のガラス板5に貼り合せた。次いでもう一方の離型紙を剥離し、1.5mm厚のポリカーボネート板3に貼り合せた。この貼り合せた部材をオートクレーブを用いて23℃で5秒間加圧処理(0.5MPa)し、その後23℃雰囲気下にて24時間養生した。そして、この貼り合せた部材を1mの高さから20回落下させた。また、この落下は貼り合せた部材が着地面と衝突する箇所が毎回変わるようにして実施した。具体的には、貼り合せた部材が着地面と衝突する箇所とは、図3の各矢印で示す10の箇所である。そして以下の基準で評価した。
「○」:20回落下させても、テープ剥がれが発生しなかった。
「×」:20回落下させる前に、テープ剥がれが発生した。
両面粘着テープ1を幅0.8mmで80mmの短冊状に裁断し、一方の離型紙を剥離して2.0mm厚×80mm×120mmのアクリル板6に形成された銅電極7と銅電極8の間(電極間距離1.0mm)に貼り合せ、更にもう一方の離型紙を剥離して2.0mm厚×80mm×80mmのアクリル板6を貼り合せた。このサンプルに対して、オートクレーブを用いて23℃、5秒間の加圧処理(0.5MPa)を行った。そして図4に示すように、IEC61000-4-2(耐静電性規格)に基づき、このサンプルの耐静電性を評価した。具体的には、静電ガンを用いて各電圧にて50回ずつ銅電極7に印加し、銅電極8側に電流が導通したときの印加電圧(ESD耐圧)を測定した。なお、このサンプルは絶縁シート9を介してステンレステーブル10上に設置され、銅電極はステンレステーブル10にアースされている。
表4の評価結果から明らかなように、実施例1~3の粘着テープは全ての特性が優れていた。
基材として、厚さ0.3mmのエチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)を適当量含むポリエチレン(PE)系発泡体からなる基材(引張弾性率=276N/mm2、曲げモーメント=3gf/cm、発泡倍率=5.3倍、平均気泡径=0.207mm、密度=186kg/m3)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして粘着テープを作製し、同様に評価した。結果を表5~7及び図5に示す。
基材として、厚さ0.3mmのエチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)を適当量含むポリエチレン(PE)系発泡体からなる基材(引張弾性率=215N/mm2、曲げモーメント=15gf/cm、発泡倍率=2.7倍、平均気泡径=0.188mm、密度=363kg/m3)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして粘着テープを作製し、同様に評価した。結果を表5~7及び図5に示す。
表7の評価結果から明らかなように、実施例4の薄い粘着テープは全ての特性が優れていた。

Claims (11)
- 独立気泡を含むポリオレフィン系発泡体基材の片面又は両面に粘着剤層を有する粘着テープであって、JIS K 7181に準じた圧縮強度測定で測定される65%圧縮強度が6.0MPa以下であり、80%圧縮強度が20MPa以下である粘着テープ。
- JIS K 7181に準じた圧縮強度測定で測定される70%圧縮強度が7.0MPa以下である請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
- JIS K 7181に準じた圧縮強度測定で測定される75%圧縮強度が9.5MPa以下である請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
- 独立気泡の平均気泡径が0.04~0.45mmである請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
- ポリオレフィン系発泡体基材の密度が50~300kg/m3である請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
- ポリオレフィン系発泡体基材の厚さが0.06~2.0mmである請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
- ポリオレフィン系発泡体基材がサポートフィルムを有しない請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
- 粘着剤層が(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体を含む請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
- 粘着剤層が粘着付与樹脂を含有しない請求項1記載の粘着テープ。
