Abstract
Description
本出願は、「PHOTOLUMINESCENCE LAYER LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE」と題された2019年3月18日出願の米国仮出願第62/820,249号、及び「PACKAGED WHITE LIGHT EMITTING DEVICES COMPRISING PHOTOLUMINESCENCE LAYERED STRUCTURE」と題された2019年8月13日出願の米国仮出願第62/886,317号の優先権の利益を主張するものであり、これらの各々は、それらの全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。

Claims (20)
- 白色発光パッケージであって、
440nm~470nmの範囲のドミナント波長を有する励起光を生成するための固体励起源と、
層状光ルミネセンス構造体であって、
第1の光ルミネセンス層であって、前記第1の光ルミネセンス層の総光ルミネセンス材料含有量の75重量%~100重量%のマンガン活性化フッ化物光ルミネセンス材料を含む、第1の光ルミネセンス層、及び
500nm~650nmの範囲のピーク放出波長を有する光を生成するための光ルミネセンス材料を含む第2の光ルミネセンス層を含む、層状光ルミネセンス構造体と、を備え、
前記第2の光ルミネセンス層が、前記第1の光ルミネセンス層上に配設され、前記第1の光ルミネセンス層が、前記固体励起源に隣接して配設されている、白色発光パッケージ。 - 前記第1の光ルミネセンス層が、前記第1の光ルミネセンス層の総光ルミネセンス材料含有量の90重量%~100重量%の前記マンガン活性化フッ化物光ルミネセンス材料、及び前記第1の光ルミネセンス層の総光ルミネセンス材料含有量の95重量%~100重量%の前記マンガン活性化フッ化物光ルミネセンス材料のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の発光デバイス。

- 前記マンガン活性化フッ化物光ルミネセンス材料又は前記光ルミネセンス材料のうちの少なくとも1つが、光透過性媒体中に組み込まれている、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記光透過性媒体が、ジメチルシリコーン又はフェニルシリコーンを含む、請求項10に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第2の光ルミネセンス層内の前記光ルミネセンス材料が、500nm~565nmの範囲のピーク放出波長を有する光を生成する緑色光ルミネセンス材料を含む、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第2の光ルミネセンス層が、前記デバイスの総緑色光ルミネセンス材料含有量の60%~100%を構成する、請求項12に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記緑色光ルミネセンス材料が、一般組成(Lu,Y)3-x(AlGa)5O12:Cex又はY3(Al,Ga)5O12:Ceを有するセリウム活性化ガーネット蛍光体を含む、請求項12又は13に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第1又は第2の光ルミネセンス層が、580nm~650nmの範囲のピーク放出波長を有する光を生成するための橙色~赤色光ルミネセンス材料を含む、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記マンガン活性化フッ化物光ルミネセンス材料及び橙色~赤色光ルミネセンス材料の総量に対する前記橙色~赤色光ルミネセンス材料の含有率が、少なくとも20重量%、少なくとも30重量%、及び少なくとも40重量%のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項15に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記橙色~赤色光ルミネセンス材料が、一般組成CaAlSiN3:Eu2+、Ca(Se,S):Eu2+、又は(Ba,Sr)3SiO5:Eu2+を有する窒化物系蛍光体を含む、請求項15又は16に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記第2の光ルミネセンス層が、500nm~565nmの範囲のピーク放出波長を有する光を生成するための第1の光ルミネセンス材料と、600nm~650nmの範囲のピーク放出波長を有する光を生成するための第2の光ルミネセンス材料との混合物を含む、請求項1~17のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記デバイスによって生成された光の相対強度が、85℃の温度及び85%の相対湿度での湿潤高温動作寿命試験条件下での300時間の動作後に少なくとも95%である、請求項1~18のいずれか一項に記載の発光デバイス。
- ディスプレイバックライトパッケージであって、
445nm~465nmの範囲のドミナント波長を有する励起光を生成するための固体励起源と、
層状光ルミネセンス構造体であって、
第1の光ルミネセンス層であって、前記第1の光ルミネセンス層の総光ルミネセンス材料含有量の75重量%~100重量%のマンガン活性化フッ化物光ルミネセンス材料を含む、第1の光ルミネセンス層、及び
520nm~550nmの範囲のピーク放出波長を有する光を生成するための光ルミネセンス材料を含む第2の光ルミネセンス層、を含む、層状光ルミネセンス構造体と、を備え、
前記第2の光ルミネセンス層が、前記第1の光ルミネセンス層上に配設され、前記第1の光ルミネセンス層が前記固体励起源に隣接して配設されている、ディスプレイバックライトパッケージ。
