Abstract
Description

Claims (27)
- 流体リザーバを規定し、前記流体リザーバと流体連結するポートを含むハウジングと、
取り外し可能に前記ハウジングに連結でき、前記ハウジングに連結する場合に、前記ポートを体液源と流体連結するように配置させる、注入アダプタと、
内部に配置され、前記流体リザーバの少なくとも一部を規定するプランジャを含むアクチュエータであって、前記アクチュエータの一部が、ユーザによって係合されて、前記プランジャを前記ハウジング内で、前記流体リザーバが第1の体積を有する第1の位置から、前記流体リザーバが前記第1の体積よりも大きい第2の体積を有する第2の位置に移動するように構成され、体積の増加により、前記注入アダプタを介して、体液を前記流体リザーバに引き込むように動作可能となり、前記プランジャが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に移動する時に、プランジャの動作速度をしきい値未満に調節する、アクチュエータと、
前記流体リザーバに配置されている所定の体積の体液に応答して、第1の状態から第2の状態に移行するように構成された体積インジケータと、
所定体積の体液が前記流体リザーバに移送された後に前記ハウジングから取り外されるように構成された注入アダプタであって、前記ポートを介して前記ハウジングの外部のサンプルボトルに前記所定の体積を移送することを可能にする、注入アダプタと、を含む装置。 - 前記所定の体積が前記第2の体積よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記体積インジケータが、前記第2の状態にある時に前記プランジャが前記第2の位置に向かって移動するのを少なくとも一時的に停止するように構成される、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の体積が前記第2の体積に等しい、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の体積が約10ミリリットル(mL)~約30mLである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の体積が10mLである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記アクチュエータの一部が、前記ユーザによって係合された時に第1の動作範囲を介して移動され、前記アクチュエータが、前記第1の動作範囲とは異なる第2の動作範囲を介して前記プランジャを移動させるように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プランジャの動作速度をしきい値未満に調節することにより、前記流体リザーバへの体液の流速を減少させ、それによって、前記流体リザーバに移送される前記所定の体積の体液に関連する正確性を増加させる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の体積の体液が第1の所定の体積の体液であり、前記体積インジケータが、第2の所定の体積の体液が前記流体リザーバに移送されることに応答して第3の状態に移行するように構成され、前記第2の所定の体積は、前記第1の所定の体積よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 流体リザーバを規定し、前記流体リザーバと流体連結するポートを含むハウジングと、
取り外し可能に前記ハウジングに連結でき、前記ハウジングに連結する場合に、前記ポートを体液源と流体連結するように配置させる、注入アダプタと、
内部に配置され、前記流体リザーバの少なくとも一部を規定するプランジャを含むアクチュエータであって、前記アクチュエータが、前記プランジャを前記ハウジング内で、第1の位置と第2の位置との間で移動させるように構成され、前記プランジャが前記第1の位置にある時、前記流体リザーバが第1の体積を有し、前記プランジャが前記第2の位置にある時、第2の体積は前記第1の体積よりも大きく、前記流体リザーバの体積の増加により、前記注入アダプタを介して前記流体リザーバに体液を引き込むように動作可能になる、アクチュエータと、
第1の状態から、前記流体リザーバに移送される所定の体積の体液に関連する第2の状態に移行するように構成された体積インジケータであって、前記所定の体積は、前記流体リザーバの前記第2の体積よりも少なく、前記体積インジケータが、前記第2の状態の場合、前記プランジャが前記第2の位置に向かって移動するのを少なくとも一時的に停止させるように構成される、体積インジケータと、を含む装置。 - 前記アクチュエータの一部が、前記ユーザによって係合された時に第1の動作範囲を介して移動され、前記アクチュエータが、前記第1の動作範囲とは異なる第2の動作範囲を介して前記プランジャを移動させるように構成される、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記プランジャが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に移動する時に、前記プランジャの動作速度をしきい値未満に調節するように構成される、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記注入アダプタが、前記所定の体積の体液が前記流体リザーバに移送された後に前記ハウジングから取り外されて、前記ポートを介して前記ハウジングの外部のサンプルボトルに前記所定の体積を移送できるように構成される、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記体液が血液であり、前記サンプルボトルが嫌気性培養培地を含む血液培養ボトルであり、前記所定の体積の体液が嫌気性血液培養検査に関連する血液の体積である、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記体液が血液であり、前記サンプルボトルが好気性培養培地を含む血液培養ボトルであり、前記所定の体積の体液が好気性血液培養検査に関連する血液の体積である、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の体積が約10ミリリットル(mL)~約30mLである、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記体積インジケータが、前記所定の体積の体液が前記流体リザーバに移送されることに応答して、前記第1の状態から前記第2の状態に移行するように構成される、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の体積の体液が前記流体リザーバに移送された後、前記体積インジケータは、前記プランジャを前記第2の位置に配置することができる第3の状態に移行するように構成される、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記所定の体積の体液が、第1の所定の体積の体液であり、前記プランジャが前記第2の位置にある時の前記流体リザーバの前記第2の体積は、前記第1の所定の体積よりも大きい第2の所定の体積である、請求項18に記載の装置。
- 方法であって、
体液源と流体連結する流体移送装置の注入アダプタを配置することであって、前記注入アダプタが、前記流体移送装置のハウジングに取り外し可能に連結可能であり、ポートが前記注入アダプタを前記ハウジングによって規定される流体リザーバに流体的に連結させることと、
アクチュエータを係合させて、内部に配置され、前記流体リザーバの少なくとも一部を第1の位置から第2の位置に向けて規定するプランジャを移動させ、前記プランジャの移動により、前記注入アダプタを介して体液を前記流体リザーバに引き込むように動作可能な負圧を生成すること、
所定の体積の体液が前記流体リザーバに移送される時に、体積インジケータを第1の状態から第2の状態に移行させること、
前記体積インジケータが前記第1の状態から前記第2の状態に移行することに応答して、前記プランジャが前記第2の位置に移動する前に前記プランジャを停止させることと、
前記注入アダプタを前記ハウジングから取り外すこと、及び、
前記所定の体積の体液を、前記流体リザーバから、前記ポートを介して前記流体移送装置の外部のサンプルボトルに移送すること、を含む方法。 - 前記アクチュエータの係合が、前記アクチュエータの一部を第1の動作範囲を通して移動させることを含み、前記アクチュエータは、前記第1の動作範囲とは異なる第2の動作範囲を通して前記プランジャを移動させるように構成される、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記プランジャが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に移動する時に、前記プランジャの動作速度をしきい値未満に調節するように構成される、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記体液が血液であり、前記サンプルボトルが嫌気性培養培地を含む血液培養ボトルであり、前記所定の体積の体液が嫌気性血液培養検査に関連する血液の体積である、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記体液が血液であり、前記サンプルボトルが好気性培養培地を含む血液培養ボトルであり、前記所定の体積の体液が好気性血液培養検査に関連する血液の体積である、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の体積が約10ミリリットル(mL)~約30mLである、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の体積の体液が前記流体リザーバに移送された後、前記体積インジケータを第3の状態に移行させて、前記プランジャを前記第2の位置に配置できるようにすることを更に含む、
請求項20に記載の方法。 - 前記所定の体積の体液が、第1の所定の体積の体液であり、前記プランジャが前記第2の位置にある時の前記流体リザーバの第2の体積は、前記第1の所定の体積よりも大きい第2の所定の体積である、請求項26に記載の方法。
