Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係るシリンジ100の概略構成を示す斜視図である。図2は、シリンジ100の構成例を示す概略図である。図3は、プランジャー4及び逆止弁6の断面構成を示す概略縦断面図である。図1〜図3に基づいて、シリンジ100について説明する。このシリンジ100は、液体(たとえば、血液等)や気体(たとえば、空気)等の流体の圧力差を利用し、流体の圧力を定性的に可視化できるものである。なお、図1を含め、以下の図面では各構成部材の大きさの関係が実際のものとは異なる場合がある。また、図1には、サイドポート9を有したシリンジ100を併せて図示している。
術者は、注射筒2、穿刺針1、及び、プランジャー4の内部を陰圧にしながら穿刺針1を人体の深部へ進めていく。そして、血管内に穿刺針1の先端が挿入されると同時に、そこが静脈内であれば穿刺針1及び注射筒2の内部に血液の逆流が見られる。従って、術者は、穿刺針1が目的の静脈に穿刺され、正常に確保されたことを認識できる。
動脈に穿刺針1が穿刺された場合、動脈血の圧力は、設定されている逆止弁6の開放圧力値よりも高いため、血液が注射筒2内に逆流し、更にプランジャー4の内部にまで血液柱が上がってくる。つまり、プランジャー4を引いて注射筒2及び穿刺針1の内部に陰圧を発生させているため、血液の逆流が見られるとともに、逆止弁6が開放し、プランジャー4内部の空気が外部に押し出されるので、血液柱がプランジャー4の内部にまで上がってくるのである。プランジャー4は透明であるため、術者は、プランジャー4の内部に血液柱が上がってきているかどうか、自分の目で確認することができる。また、術者以外の第三者(たとえば、術者以外の医師等の補助者)もプランジャー4内部の状態を視認することができる。
Claims (6)
- 内部が視認可能な筒体であって、その一方の端部に貫通穴が形成された底部を有している注射筒と、
前記注射筒内に押し引き可能に設けられ、内部が中空で両端が開口されているプランジャーと、
前記プランジャーの内部と前記注射筒の内部とを連通するための孔が形成されており、前記プランジャーの一端に取り付けられ、外周面が前記注射筒の内壁面に接触するガスケットと、
前記プランジャーの一端から前記プランジャーの内部に流入する流体の流れを前記プランジャー内部から外部方向に許容する逆流防止機構と、
前記逆流防止機構の流体流路を閉塞しない孔が少なくとも一部に形成されており、前記プランジャーの押し引き操作を補助する操作部と、を備えている
ことを特徴とするシリンジ。 - 前記逆流防止機構には、
前記プランジャーの内部に流入する流体に応じた開放圧力値が設定してある
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシリンジ。 - 前記逆流防止機構は、
弁体及び前記弁体を収容されるハウジングを備えた逆止弁で構成され、前記ハウジングを介して前記プランジャーの他端に着脱自在に取り付けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のシリンジ。 - 流体の流入口となる穿刺針を前記注射筒の底部に着脱自在に取り付け可能にしている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジ。 - 前記逆流防止機構の下流側に疎水性フィルターを設けている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジ。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のシリンジと、
カテーテルと、を備える
ことを特徴とするカテーテルセット。
