Abstract
Description
以下、本発明の第1実施形態を図1~7に基づいて説明する。図1は、本発明の第1実施形態に係るバッテリ端子を示す斜視図であり、バッテリ端子を構成するプロテクタが覆い位置にある状態を示す斜視図である。図2は、バッテリ端子を示す斜視図であり、プロテクタが露出位置にある状態を示す斜視図である。
以下、本発明の第2実施形態を図11~17に基づいて説明する。図11は、本発明の第2実施形態に係るバッテリ端子を示す斜視図である。図12は、バッテリ端子を構成するプロテクタを示す斜視図である。

Claims (5)
- バッテリ本体の上面から突出して設けられたバッテリポストに接続されるバッテリ端子であって、
端子本体と、該端子本体に装着されて前記端子本体と前記バッテリ本体の上面との間に位置されるプロテクタと、を備え、
前記端子本体は、該バッテリポストを挟み込む一対の挟持部と、該一対の挟持部を近接させて前記バッテリポストを締め付ける操作部と、を有し、
前記プロテクタは、前記端子本体に支持されるプロテクタ支持部と、該プロテクタ支持部に接続された可動部と、を有し、
前記可動部には、前記バッテリ本体の上面に当接される当接部と、該当接部に作用する外力に伴って変位する変位部と、が設けられ、
前記変位部は、前記操作部を覆う覆い位置と、前記覆い位置から操作部の外側に退避する退避位置と、に変位自在に設けられ、
前記変位部が前記覆い位置にある際に前記操作部へのアクセスが規制され、前記当接部が前記バッテリ本体の上面に押し付けられることで、前記変位部が前記覆い位置から前記退避位置に変位して、前記操作部へのアクセスが許容されることを特徴とするバッテリ端子。 - 前記可動部は、板状の部材が適宜な位置で折れ曲がって形成されたものであり、
前記プロテクタ支持部と前記当接部とに連続する第1連続部を有し、
前記当接部は、前記バッテリ本体の上面に当接した状態で、前記プロテクタ支持部と前記第1連続部との境界位置より前記プロテクタ支持部の前記第1連続部から離れた端部側に位置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ端子。 - 前記可動部は、前記当接部から前記変位部に向けて連続する第2連続部を有し、
前記第2連続部は、前記変位部が覆い位置にある際に、前記バッテリ本体の上面に当接されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のバッテリ端子。 - 前記可動部は、前記プロテクタ支持部に回動可能に支持される棒状部を有し、
前記棒状部には、一方の端部に前記当接部が設けられ、他方の端部には、前記変位部が接続され、
前記当接部が前記バッテリ本体の上面に押し付けられるに伴って、前記プロテクタ支持部に対して前記棒状部が回動されて、前記棒状部とともに前記変位部が前記覆い位置から前記退避位置に向かって変位されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ端子。 - 前記棒状部は、前記プロテクタ支持部に対して前記棒状部の軸回りに回転可能に支持されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリ端子。
