図1には、本実施形態のタイヤ1の正規状態における回転軸を含む横断面図が示されている。本発明のタイヤ1は、エラストマー組成物2Aからなるトレッド部2を備えている。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、乗用車用の空気入りタイヤとして好適に用いられる。但し、本発明のタイヤは、このような態様に限定されるものではなく、例えば、重荷重用の空気入りタイヤとして用いられても良い。なお、エラストマー組成物2Aは、常温で粘弾性を示す高分子物質であり、本実施形態では、従来のタイヤに使用されるゴム材料である。

加硫促進剤2:大内新興化学工業(株)製 ノクセラーD
窒素置換されたオートクレーブ反応器に、シクロヘキサン、テトラヒドロフラン、スチレン、及び1,3−ブタジエンを仕込んだ。反応器の内容物の温度を20℃に調整した後、n−ブチルリチウムを添加して重合を開始した。断熱条件で重合し、最高温度は85℃に達した。重合転化率が99%に達した時点で1,3−ブタジエンを追加し、更に5分重合させた後、N,N−ビス(トリメチルシリル)−3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシランを変性剤として加えて反応を行った。重合反応終了後、2,6−ジ−tert−ブチル−p−クレゾールを添加した。次いで、スチームストリッピングにより脱溶媒を行い、110℃に調温された熱ロールにより乾燥してSBR1を得た。
各薬品の使用量を変更した点以外は製造例1と同様の方法により、SBR2を得た。
共重合体の構造同定は、日本電子(株)製JNM−ECAシリーズの装置を用いて行った。測定結果から、共重合体中のスチレンの含有量、ビニル含量を算出した。
共重合体の重量平均分子量Mwは、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフ(GPC)(東ソー(株)製GPC−8000シリーズ、検出器:示差屈折計、カラム:東ソー(株)製のTSKGEL SUPERMALTPORE HZ−M)による測定値を基に標準ポリスチレン換算により求めた。

上記テスト車両で130km/hで周回路を走行したときのノイズ性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例1を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、高速走行時のノイズ性能が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両で路面温度0〜10℃の一般路を走行したときのハンドリング性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例1を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、低温走行時のハンドリング性能が優れていることを示す。
テストの結果が表2〜5に示される。

Claims (8)
- エラストマー組成物からなるトレッド部を備えたタイヤであって、
タイヤ外径Dtとタイヤ断面幅Wtとの関係が下記式(1)を満たし、
1963.4≦(Dt2×π/4)/Wt≦2827.4…(1)
前記トレッド部は、タイヤ周方向に延びる周方向溝を少なくとも1本含み、
前記周方向溝の溝底におけるゴム厚さは、前記トレッド部の最大厚さの0.05〜0.25倍であり、
前記エラストマー組成物は、動的粘弾性試験において温度30℃かつ周波数10Hzの条件で繰り返し変形させたときの歪の最大値と応力の最大値の位相差δが5.0×10−2π(rad)以下である、
タイヤ。 - 前記位相差δは、4.0×10−2π(rad)以下である、請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記位相差δは、2.0×10−2π(rad)以上である、請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記周方向溝は、タイヤ赤道上に配されている、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記周方向溝は、最大の深さの80%の深さにおける溝幅L80と前記トレッド部の接地面における溝幅L0との比L80/L0が0.3〜0.7である、請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、複数の前記周方向溝を含み、
前記複数の周方向溝の断面積の合計は、前記トレッド部の断面積の10%〜30%である、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤ。 - 前記トレッド部は、タイヤ軸方向に延びる複数の横溝を含み、
前記複数の横溝の容積の合計は、前記トレッド部の体積の2.0%〜5.0%である、請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤ。 - 前記横溝の少なくとも1本は、溝幅/溝深さの比が0.50〜0.80である、請求項7に記載のタイヤ。
