Abstract
Description
第一発明に係る中継電気コネクタは、第一の相手接続体と第二の相手接続体が互いに異なる側から挿抜可能に接続されて両相手接続体同士を中継する中継電気コネクタであって、上記第一の相手接続体および上記第二の相手接続体のそれぞれに接触可能な端子と、
上記端子を直接的または間接的に保持するハウジングとを備える。
第二発明に係る電気コネクタ組立体は、第一発明に係る中継電気コネクタと、上記第一の相手接続体とを備えることを特徴としている。
第三発明は、第二発明に係る電気コネクタ組立体と、回路基板とを備え、上記電気コネクタ組立体の第一の相手接続体は、上記回路基板に実装されるとともに中継電気コネクタと嵌合接続可能な回路基板用電気コネクタであることを特徴としている。
接続部が下端側に形成されている。該接続部はハウジング120の下面から突出しており、図1では該接続部に半田ボールBが取り付けられた状態が示されている(図6(A),(B)をも参照)。

Claims (8)
- 第一の相手接続体と第二の相手接続体が互いに異なる側から挿抜可能に接続されて両相手接続体同士を中継する中継電気コネクタであって、
上記第一の相手接続体および上記第二の相手接続体のそれぞれに接触可能な端子と、
上記端子を直接的または間接的に保持するハウジングとを備える中継電気コネクタにおいて、
上記中継電気コネクタの上記ハウジングに支持されたロック金具を有し、
上記ロック金具は、上記中継電気コネクタと上記第一の相手接続体との接続状態にて該第一の相手接続体に設けられた被ロック部に対して抜出方向で係止可能なロック部を有していることを特徴とする中継電気コネクタ。 - 上記ロック金具は、上記第一の相手接続体に対する挿抜方向に沿って延びる板状部分を有し、
上記ロック部は、上記板状部分の一部が切り起され上記第一の相手接続体に対する抜出方向へ向けて延びる片持ち梁状の弾性変位可能なロック片として形成されており、
上記ロック片は、上記第一の相手接続体の上記被ロック部に係止可能となっていることとする請求項1に記載の中継電気コネクタ。 - 上記ハウジングは、上記中継電気コネクタと上記第一の相手接続体との接続状態にて該第一の相手接続体に設けられた被係止部に対して抜出方向で係止可能な係止部を有していることとする請求項1または請求項2に記載の中継電気コネクタ。
- 上記ハウジングは、上記第一の接続体との接続方向で分割された二つのハウジング半体を有しており、
上記ロック金具は上記接続方向で上記二つのハウジング半体にまたがる範囲に延び、該二つのハウジング半体に支持されており、
上記二つのハウジング半体は、上記接続方向に対して直角な一方向にて所定の範囲内で相対移動可能となっていることとする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載の中継電気コネクタ。 - 上記中継電気コネクタは、上記端子と上記ハウジングとを有する複数の接続ユニットを備え、
上記複数の接続ユニットは、上記第一接続体との接続方向に対して直角な一方向を配列方向として配列されており、
上記ロック金具は、上記配列方向で上記複数の接続ユニットの配列範囲にわたって延び、該複数の接続ユニットを一括して連結していることとする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載の中継電気コネクタ。 - 請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載の中継電気コネクタと、上記第一の相手接続体とを備えることを特徴とする電気コネクタ組立体。
- 上記第一の相手接続体は、上記中継電気コネクタと嵌合接続される相手コネクタであり、上記中継電気コネクタとの接続状態にて該中継電気コネクタの上記ロック部に係止可能な被ロック部が形成された被ロック金具を有していることとする請求項6に記載の電気コネクタ組立体。
- 請求項6または請求項7に記載の電気コネクタ組立体と、回路基板とを備え、
上記電気コネクタ組立体の第一の相手接続体は、上記回路基板に実装されるとともに中継電気コネクタと嵌合接続可能な回路基板用電気コネクタであることを特徴とする回路基板付電気コネクタ組立体。
