Abstract
Description
下記一般式(1)で表されるジアルキルシロキサン単位と、
R4 2SiO2/2 (1)
(式(1)中、R4は互いに独立に炭素数1〜6の1価炭化水素基である。)
下記一般式(2)で表されるポリ(アルキレンオキシアルキル)メチルシロキサン単位と
を含むシリコーン粒子であって、表面にオキシアルキレン基を有することを特徴とするシリコーン粒子を提供する。
下記(A)成分〜(C)成分を含有するラジカル重合性シリコーン組成物を、水中に分散させた状態で架橋させることを特徴とするシリコーン粒子の製造方法を提供する。
(A)下記一般式(3)に示すラジカル重合反応性基を有するオルガノポリシロキサン:100質量部
(B)下記一般式(5)に示すラジカル重合性基を有するポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン:0.1−100質量部

(式(7)中、R1は互いに独立に水素原子、又は、炭素数1〜6の1価炭化水素基であり、R2は互いに独立に炭素数1〜6の2価脂肪族基である。nは1≦n≦20を満たす数である。)
(C)ラジカル発生剤:0.1−5質量部
はじめに、本発明のシリコーン粒子を詳細に説明する。
R4 2SiO2/2 (1)
(式(1)中、R4は互いに独立に炭素数1〜6の1価炭化水素基である。)
下記一般式(2)で表されるポリ(アルキレンオキシアルキル)メチルシロキサン単位と
を含むシリコーン粒子であって、表面にオキシアルキレン基を有するシリコーン粒子である。
このようなシリコーン粒子は、下記(A)成分〜(C)成分を含有するラジカル重合性シリコーン組成物を、水中に分散させた状態で架橋させることで得ることができる。
(A)下記一般式(3)に示すラジカル重合反応性基を有するオルガノポリシロキサン:100質量部
(B)下記一般式(5)に示すラジカル重合性基を有するポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン:0.1−100質量部

(式(7)中、R1は互いに独立に水素原子、又は、炭素数1〜6の1価炭化水素基であり、R2は互いに独立に炭素数1〜6の2価脂肪族基である。nは1≦n≦20を満たす数である。)
(C)ラジカル発生剤:0.1−5質量部
まず、(A)成分は、下記一般式(3)に示すラジカル重合反応性基を有するオルガノポリシロキサンである。
次に、(B)成分は、下記一般式(5)に示すラジカル重合性基を有するポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンである。

(式(7)中、R1は互いに独立に水素原子、又は、炭素数1〜6の1価炭化水素基であり、R2は互いに独立に炭素数1〜6の2価脂肪族基である。nは1≦n≦20を満たす数である。)
(C)成分はラジカル発生剤である。本発明のシリコーン粒子の製造方法は、(C)成分であるラジカル発生剤の存在下で、加熱法、レドックス法、光照射法を用いて組成物を硬化させることが好ましい。
本発明のシリコーン粒子の製造方法で用いるエマルジョンには、上記(A)〜(D)成分以外に、必要に応じて、種々の添加剤を配合することができる。例えば、増粘剤、防腐剤、pH調整剤、酸化防止剤、重合禁止剤等が挙げられ、それぞれ1種単独で又は2種以上を適宜組み合わせて、適量用いることができる。
下記式(10)で示される、動粘度が180mm2/sの二官能性メタクリルポリシロキサン((A)成分):75gと、2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−フェニル−プロパン−1−オン(BASF製Irgacure 1173)((C)成分):0.75gとを容量1リットルのガラスビーカーに仕込み、ホモミキサーを用いて4000rpmで5分間攪拌溶解させた。次いで、下記式(11)で示される、動粘度が160mm2/sの二官能性メタクリルポリエチレングリコール変性ポリシロキサン((B)成分):7.5gと水:15gを加え、ホモミキサーを用いて7000rpmで攪拌したところ、水中油滴型となり、増粘が認められ、さらに15分間攪拌を継続した。次いで、2000rpmで攪拌しながら、水51.75gを加え希釈した。100MPaの圧力の条件でホモジナイザーに通し、均一な白色エマルジョンを得た。
本発明のシリコーン粒子の製造方法で用いるエマルジョンには、上記(A)〜(C)成分以外に、必要に応じて、種々の添加剤を配合することができる。例えば、増粘剤、防腐剤、pH調整剤、酸化防止剤、重合禁止剤等が挙げられ、それぞれ1種単独で又は2種以上を適宜組み合わせて、適量用いることができる。
Claims (6)
- 体積平均粒径が0.1〜100μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシリコーン粒子。
- 請求項1又は請求項2に記載のシリコーン粒子を製造する方法であって、
下記(A)成分〜(C)成分を含有するラジカル重合性シリコーン組成物を、水中に分散させた状態で架橋させることを特徴とするシリコーン粒子の製造方法。
(A)下記一般式(3)に示すラジカル重合反応性基を有するオルガノポリシロキサン:100質量部
(B)下記一般式(5)に示すラジカル重合性基を有するポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン:0.1−100質量部
