Abstract
【解決手段】転がり軸受10は、内輪11と、外輪12と、複数の玉13と、環状の保持器14とを備える。保持器14は、玉13よりも軸方向一方に位置する環状体31と、環状体31から軸方向他方に延びて設けられている複数のつの32とを有する。つの32には、つの32の軸方向の一方側から他方側にわたって軸方向他方及び径方向に開口する欠損部37が形成されていて、つの32は、欠損部37の周方向についての両側に玉13と接触する一対のつの本体38,38を備える。一対のつの本体38,38の間に補剛リブ40が設けられている。

Description
この構成によれば、内輪軌道には玉が転がり接触することから、例えば研磨等の機械加工が行われる。このような内輪軌道にガイド部を接触させることで、保持器が安定してガイドされる。
この構成によれば、補剛リブを径方向外側寄りの位置に設ける場合と比較して、欠損部の容積を大きくすることが可能となる場合があり、つのを軽量化する作用が高くなる。
この構成によれば、補剛リブは、一対の第二リブ部の間が欠損していて、補剛リブによる重量の増加を抑えることができる。しかも、第一リブ部及び第二リブ部によって、一対のつの本体と環状体とが繋がり、補剛リブは、つの本体の補剛材としての機能を十分に有することができる。
このような冠型の保持器に対して、本開示の保持器14では、一般的な冠型の保持器のような玉の直径よりも間隔が小さくなる一対の前記爪部が存在しない。このような爪部が設けられないことで、本開示の保持器14は軽量化される。
前記実施形態では、転がり軸受が深溝玉軸受である場合について説明したが、アンギュラ玉軸受であってもよい。

Claims (5)
- 内輪と、外輪と、前記内輪と前記外輪との間に設けられている複数の転動体と、前記複数の転動体を周方向に間隔をあけて保持する環状の保持器と、を備え、
前記保持器は、前記転動体よりも軸方向一方に位置する環状体と、当該環状体から軸方向他方に延びて設けられている複数のつのと、を有し、
前記つのには、当該つのの軸方向の一方側から他方側にわたって軸方向他方及び径方向に開口する欠損部が形成されていて、当該つのは、当該欠損部の周方向についての両側に前記転動体と接触する一対のつの本体を備え、
前記一対のつの本体の間に補剛リブが設けられている、転がり軸受。 - 前記内輪は、前記転動体としての玉が転がり接触する内輪軌道を有し、
前記保持器は、前記内輪軌道に接触することで当該保持器の位置決めを行うガイド部を有する、請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。 - 前記補剛リブは、前記一対のつの本体の間のうちの径方向内側寄りの位置に設けられている、請求項1又は2に記載の転がり軸受。
- 前記補剛リブは、軸方向一方側に設けられ前記環状体と前記一対のつの本体とを繋げている第一リブ部と、前記第一リブ部から軸方向他方に延びてかつ周方向に間隔をあけて設けられ前記つの本体と繋がっている一対の第二リブ部と、を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の転がり軸受。
- 転がり軸受が備える転動体よりも軸方向一方に位置する環状体と、当該環状体から軸方向他方に延びて設けられている複数のつのと、を有し、
前記つのには、当該つのの軸方向の一方側から他方側にわたって軸方向他方及び径方向に開口する欠損部が形成されていて、当該つのは、当該欠損部の周方向についての両側に前記転動体と接触する一対のつの本体を備え、
前記一対のつの本体の間に補剛リブが設けられている、保持器。
