Abstract
Description
この車両用ペダル装置によれば、車両が自動車速制御によって減速しているときに、踏力段差の開始位置がアクセルペダルの初期位置に近づくようにアクセルペダルの段差付きストローク特性が制御されることで、アクセルペダルに足を置いている運転者はアクセルペダルの反力の増加などから車両の減速を把握することができる。また、この車両用ペダル装置によれば、踏力段差の開始位置がアクセルペダルの初期位置に近づくようにアクセルペダルの段差付きストローク特性が制御されることで、運転者のアクセルオフを促すことができ、車両の減速時又は減速後の停止時に誤って運転者がアクセルペダルを踏み込むことを抑制することができる。
この車両用ペダル装置によれば、基準反力を付与する弾性部材と反力付与アクチュエータが協働する構成とすることで、反力付与アクチュエータのみで全ての反力をコントロールする場合と比べて、反力付与アクチュエータの負荷を軽減することができる。
本実施形態に係る車両用ペダル装置1の構成について図面を参照して説明を行う。図1に示すように、車両用ペダル装置1は、装置を管理するペダル制御ECU[Electronic Control Unit]10を備えている。ペダル制御ECU10は、CPU[Central Processing Unit]、ROM[Read Only Memory]、RAM[Random Access Memory]などを有する電子制御ユニットである。ペダル制御ECU10では、例えば、ROMに記憶されているプログラムをRAMにロードし、RAMにロードされたプログラムをCPUで実行することにより各種の機能を実現する。ペダル制御ECU10は、複数の電子ユニットから構成されていてもよい。なお、ペダル制御ECU10は、車両の各種制御を行うECUの一部として構成されていてもよい。
次に、本実施形態に係る車両用ペダル装置1の処理について図面を参照して説明する。図7(a)は、ストローク特性変更処理の一例を示すフローチャートである。ストローク特性変更処理は、例えば車両の走行中に実行される。
Claims (3)
- 自動車速制御の機能を有する車両に設けられたアクセルペダル及びブレーキペダルのうち少なくとも一方を含む車両用ペダルを制御するための車両用ペダル装置であって、
運転者の踏力に対する前記車両用ペダルのストローク特性を制御するストローク特性制御部を備え、
前記ストローク特性制御部は、前記車両が自動車速制御中である場合、前記車両用ペダルのストローク特性を段差付きストローク特性に変更し、
前記段差付きストローク特性は、前記運転者による前記車両用ペダルの操作によって前記自動車速制御のオーバーライドが開始されるオーバーライドストローク位置に対応する踏力段差を有するストローク特性である、車両用ペダル装置。 - 前記車両用ペダルには、前記アクセルペダルが含まれ、
前記ストローク特性制御部は、前記車両が前記自動車速制御によって減速しているとき、前記車両が前記自動車速制御によって減速していないときと比べて、前記踏力段差の開始位置が前記アクセルペダルの初期位置に近づくように前記アクセルペダルの前記段差付きストローク特性を制御する、請求項1に記載の車両用ペダル装置。 - 前記運転者の踏力に対する基準反力を前記車両用ペダルに付与する弾性部材と、
前記車両用ペダルに対して追加反力を付与する反力付与アクチュエータと、
を更に備え、
前記ストローク特性制御部は、前記反力付与アクチュエータによる追加反力をコントロールすることで前記車両用ペダルのストローク特性を前記段差付きストローク特性に変更する、請求項1又は2に記載の車両用ペダル装置。
