Abstract
Description
本発明は、
(a)リチウムのインターカレーションおよびデインターカレーションが可能な電気化学的活性材料;
(b)水性または有機媒体に分散していて、1またはそれを超えるエポキシ官能性ポリマーおよび1またはそれを超える酸官能性アクリルポリマーを含む反応混合物の反応生成物を含むバインダー;および
(c)導電剤
を含む、リチウムイオン電池電極スラリー組成物を提供する。
(a)集電体;および
(b)集電体の上に形成された硬化フィルム
を含む電極も提供し、硬化フィルムは、上記および以下で詳細に説明されるスラリー組成物から堆積される。
(a)上記および以下で詳細に説明される電極、
(b)対電極、および
(c)電解質
を含む、電池などの蓄電装置に関する。
(a)集電体;および
(b)集電体の上に形成された硬化フィルム
を備える電極も提供し、フィルムは上記のスラリー組成物のいずれかから堆積される。

(a)リチウムのインターカレーションおよびデインターカレーションが可能な電気化学的活性材料と;
(b)水性または有機媒体に分散していて、1またはそれを超えるエポキシ官能性ポリマーおよび1またはそれを超える酸官能性アクリルポリマーを含む反応混合物の反応生成物を含む、バインダーと;
(c)導電剤とを含む、
リチウムイオン電池電極スラリー組成物。

カルボキシメチルセルロースなどの増粘剤をさらに含む、態様1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
3.
ポリマーの混合物が、少なくとも70重量%の1またはそれを超えるエポキシ官能性ポリマーと、最大30重量%の1またはそれを超える酸官能性アクリルポリマーを含み、重量百分率が反応生成物の総重量に基づいている、態様1〜2のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物。
4.
バインダー(b)が、アミノプラスト、ポリカルボジイミド、ポリエポキシド、あるいは前述のもののいずれかの混合物または組合せなどの架橋剤をさらに含む、態様1〜3のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物。
5.
電気化学的活性材料(a)が、LiCoO2、LiNiO2、LiFePO4、LiCoPO4、LiMnO2、LiMn2O4、Li(NiMnCo)O2、Li(NiCoAl)O2、炭素被覆LiFePO4、グラファイト、ケイ素化合物、スズ、スズ化合物、あるいは前述のもののいずれかの混合物または組合せを含む、態様1〜4のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物。
6.
導電剤(c)が、グラファイト、アセチレンブラック、ファーネスブラック、グラフェンあるいは前述のもののいずれかの混合物または組合せを含む、態様1〜5のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物。
7.
バインダー(b)が水性媒体に分散していて、スラリーが有機溶媒をさらに含む、態様1〜6のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物。
8.
スラリーが、N−メチル−2−ピロリドンを本質的に含まず、かつ/またはバインダー(b)がポリフッ化ビニリデンポリマーを本質的に含まない、態様1〜7のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物。
9.
電気化学的活性材料(a)が、70〜98重量%の量で存在し;バインダー(b)が、1〜10重量%の量で存在し、導電剤(c)が、1〜20重量%の量で存在し、重量百分率が、スラリー中の固形分の総重量に基づいている、態様1〜8のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物。

(a)集電体;および
(b)集電体の上に形成された硬化フィルムであって、フィルムが態様1〜9のいずれかに記載の電極スラリー組成物から堆積されたものである、フィルム
を含む電極。
11.
集電体(a)が、メッシュ、シートまたは箔の形態の銅またはアルミニウムを含む、態様10に記載の電極。
12.
(a)態様10または11に記載の電極と、
(b)対電極と、
(c)電解質と
を含む蓄電装置。
13.
電解質(c)が、有機カーボネートなどの溶媒に溶解したリチウム塩を含む、態様12に記載の蓄電装置。

Claims (21)
- (a)リチウムのインターカレーションおよびデインターカレーションが可能な電気化学的活性材料と;
(b)水性または有機媒体に分散していて、1またはそれを超えるエポキシ官能性ポリマーおよび1またはそれを超える酸官能性アクリルポリマーを含む反応混合物の反応生成物を含む、バインダーと;
(c)導電剤と
を含む、リチウムイオン電池電極スラリー組成物。 - 増粘剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記バインダー(b)が水性媒体に分散している、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 有機溶媒をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記バインダー(b)が有機媒体に分散している、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記ポリマーの混合物が、少なくとも70重量%の1またはそれを超えるエポキシ官能性ポリマーと、最大30重量%の1またはそれを超える酸官能性アクリルポリマーを含み、重量百分率が前記反応生成物の総重量に基づいている、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記バインダー(b)が架橋剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記架橋剤が、アミノプラスト、ポリカルボジイミド、ポリエポキシド、あるいは前述のもののいずれかの混合物または組合せを含む、請求項7に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記電気化学的活性材料(a)が、LiCoO2、LiNiO2、LiFePO4、LiCoPO4、LiMnO2、LiMn2O4、Li(NiMnCo)O2、Li(NiCoAl)O2、炭素被覆LiFePO4、グラファイト、ケイ素化合物、スズ、スズ化合物、あるいは前述のもののいずれかの混合物または組合せを含む、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記導電剤(c)が、グラファイト、アセチレンブラック、ファーネスブラック、グラフェンあるいは前述のもののいずれかの混合物または組合せを含む、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- スラリーがN−メチル−2−ピロリドンを本質的に含まない、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記電気化学的活性材料(a)が、70〜98重量%の量で存在し;前記バインダー(b)が、1〜10重量%の量で存在し、前記導電剤(c)が、1〜20重量%の量で存在し、重量百分率が、スラリー中の固形分の総重量に基づいている、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- 前記バインダー(b)がポリフッ化ビニリデンポリマーを本質的に含まない、請求項1に記載の電極スラリー組成物。
- (a)集電体と;
(b)前記集電体上に形成された硬化フィルムとを備える電極であって、前記フィルムが、
(i)リチウムのインターカレーションおよびデインターカレーションが可能な電気化学的活性材料と;
(ii)水性または有機媒体に分散していて、1またはそれを超えるエポキシ官能性ポリマーおよび1またはそれを超える酸官能性アクリルポリマーを含む反応混合物の反応生成物を含む、バインダーと;
(iii)導電剤と
を含むスラリー組成物から堆積されたものである、電極。 - 前記スラリー組成物が増粘剤をさらに含む、請求項14に記載の電極。
- 前記増粘剤がカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む、請求項15に記載の電極。
- 前記集電体(a)がメッシュ、シートまたは箔の形態の銅またはアルミニウムを含む、請求項14に記載の電極。
- 前記導電剤(iii)が、グラファイト、アセチレンブラック、ファーネスブラック、グラフェンあるいは前述のもののいずれかの混合物または組合せを含む、請求項14に記載の電極。
- (a)請求項14に記載の電極と、
(b)対電極と、
(c)電解質と
を含む蓄電装置。 - 前記電解質(c)が、溶媒に溶解したリチウム塩を含む、請求項19に記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記リチウム塩が有機カーボネートに溶解している、請求項20に記載の蓄電装置。
