図1は、本発明の分離装置および繊維体堆積装置の第1実施形態を備えるシート製造装置を示す概略側面図である。図2は、図1に示すシート製造装置のブロック図である。図3は、図1に示す分離装置の斜視図である。図4は、図3に示す分離装置の平面図である。図5および図6は、図3に示す分離装置の側面図である。
原料供給部11は、粗砕部12に原料M1を供給する原料供給工程を行なう部分である。この原料M1としては、セルロース繊維を含む繊維含有物からなるシート状材料である。なお、セルロース繊維とは、化合物としてのセルロースを主成分とし繊維状をなすものであればよく、セルロースの他に、ヘミセルロース、リグニンを含むものであってもよい。また、原料M1は、織布、不織布等、形態は問わない。また、原料M1は、例えば、古紙を解繊して再生、製造されたリサイクルペーパーや、合成紙のユポ紙(登録商標)であってもよいし、リサイクルペーパーでなくてもよい。また、本実施形態では、原料M1は、使用済みまたは不要となった古紙である。
図1〜図3に示すように、分離装置1は、メッシュ31を有する回転部材3と、メッシュ31上に解繊物M3を空気とともに噴出して供給する供給部である第1噴出部4と、メッシュ31上の解繊物M3の一部を吸引する第1吸引部5と、吸引されて生成された解繊物M4に空気を噴出する第2噴出部6と、解繊物M4を吸引して回収する第2吸引部7と、モーター33と、異物の混入量を検出する検出部34と、を有する。なお、第2噴出部6と第2吸引部7とが回収部を構成する。
図7および図8は、本発明の分離装置の第2実施形態が備える回転部材の断面図である。

以下、この図を参照して本発明の分離装置および繊維体堆積装置の第3実施形態について説明するが、前述した実施形態との相違点を中心に説明し、同様の事項はその説明を省略する。

- 表裏関係にある第1面および第2面を有するメッシュと、前記メッシュの前記第1面側に設けられた突出部材と、を有する回転部材と、
前記メッシュの前記第1面上に繊維を含む材料を供給する供給部と、
前記メッシュの前記第2面側に設けられ、前記第1面上に供給された前記材料の一部を吸引可能な吸引部と、
前記第1面上に堆積した前記材料を回収する回収部と、を備えることを特徴とする分離装置。 - 表裏関係にある第1面および第2面を有するメッシュと、前記メッシュの前記第2面側に設けられ、前記メッシュを前記第1面側に突出させている突出部材とを有する回転可能な回転部材と、
前記メッシュの前記第1面上に繊維を含む材料を供給する供給部と、
前記メッシュの前記第2面側に設けられ、前記第1面上に供給された前記材料の一部を吸引する吸引部と、
前記第1面上に堆積した前記材料を回収する回収部と、を備えることを特徴とする分離装置。 - 前記メッシュは、平面視で円形をなし、前記円形の中心軸回りに回転する請求項1または2に記載の分離装置。
- 突出部材は、前記メッシュの中心部から外周部に亘って延在する長尺状の部材である請求項3に記載の分離装置。
- 前記突出部材は、前記突出部材と接するように前記中心軸と前記外周部とを結ぶ仮想線を描いたとき、前記突出部の少なくとも一部が前記メッシュの径方向に対して傾斜している請求項4に記載の分離装置。
- 前記突出部材は、前記メッシュの中心部側を基準としたとき、前記メッシュの外周部側の方が回転方向に対して下流側に位置するように設けられている請求項5に記載の分離装置。
