上記課題を解決するためのハイブリッド車両の制御装置は、内燃機関の出力を利用してモータジェネレータによって発電した電力を充電する蓄電池を搭載したハイブリッド車両に適用される。この制御装置は、前記内燃機関を制御する機関制御部と、前記モータジェネレータを制御するモータジェネレータ制御部とを備えている。そして、この制御装置は、前記機関制御部及び前記モータジェネレータ制御部により、前記内燃機関の運転を自動で停止させ、再始動させる間欠停止制御と、前記内燃機関の出力を増大させて発熱量を増大させるとともに、前記モータジェネレータによる発電量を増大させて前記内燃機関の排気通路に設けられたフィルタの温度を粒子状物質が燃焼し得る温度まで昇温させる昇温制御と、前記昇温制御を開始すると前記昇温制御が完了するまで前記間欠停止制御による前記内燃機関の運転の停止を禁止する間欠停止禁止制御と、前記フィルタの温度が粒子状物質の燃焼し得る温度になっていることを条件に前記モータジェネレータによって前記内燃機関の出力軸を駆動して前記内燃機関を空転させるモータリング制御と、を実行する。
昇温制御においては、上記のように、出力嵩上げ制御によって機関制御部が実行する出力制御における目標値に相当する要求出力を大きくすることにより、出力嵩上げ制御を実行しない場合と比較して内燃機関の出力を増大させることができる。
出力嵩上げ制御に加えて、下限回転数引き上げ制御を実行することにより、要求出力が「0」になる場合、すなわち内燃機関からの出力が要求されていない場合であっても、下限回転数引き上げ制御を実行しない場合よりも高い機関回転数での内燃機関の運転が継続されるようになる。したがって、内燃機関からの出力が要求されていない場合であっても、フィルタの昇温を継続することができる。
上記構成によれば、点火時期を遅角させることにより、排気温度を上昇させ、効果的に昇温制御を行うことができる。また、昇温制御において、出力嵩上げ制御と点火時期遅角制御とをあわせて実行すると、より高負荷で吸入空気量の多い動作点において点火時期を遅角させることになるため、点火時期を遅角させることによる失火の発生を抑制しながら、排気温度を上昇させることができる。
EGR制御を禁止すると、失火が生じにくくなる。そのため、EGR制御を禁止した状態で点火時期遅角制御を実行する上記構成によれば、点火時期を遅角させることによる失火の発生をより効果的に抑制できる。
モータリング制御によってフィルタに酸素を供給するとPMが燃焼し、フィルタの温度が上昇する。ハイブリッド車両におけるフィルタのレイアウトによっては、車速が低く、フィルタに当たる走行風が少ない状態でモータリング制御を実行すると、走行風による冷却作用が足りずにフィルタの温度が過剰に高くなってしまうおそれがある。これに対して上記構成のように、車速が規定車速以上であることを条件にモータリング制御を実行することにすれば、フィルタに走行風が十分に当たる状態になっているときに、モータリング制御が実行されるようになるため、フィルタの過熱を抑制することができる。
図1に示すように、本実施形態の制御装置が適用されるハイブリッド車両は、火花点火式の内燃機関10を備えている。また、ハイブリッド車両は、モータと発電機の双方の機能を兼ね備える2つのモータジェネレータ、すなわち第1モータジェネレータ71と第2モータジェネレータ72とを備えている。さらに、ハイブリッド車両には、蓄電池77と第1インバータ75と第2インバータ76とが設けられている。蓄電池77は、発電機として機能しているときの第1モータジェネレータ71及び第2モータジェネレータ72が発電した電力を蓄える。さらに蓄電池77は、モータとして機能しているときの第1モータジェネレータ71及び第2モータジェネレータ72に、蓄えた電力を供給する。第1インバータ75は、第1モータジェネレータ71と蓄電池77との間の電力の授受量を調整し、第2インバータ76は、第2モータジェネレータ72と蓄電池77との間の電力の授受量を調整する。
まず、図2を参照して、フィルタ再生要求フラグを操作するルーチンについて説明する。このルーチンはハイブリッドシステムが稼働しているときに、制御装置100によって繰り返し実行される。なお、フィルタ再生要求フラグは、「1」であることをもってフィルタ再生制御の実行が必要とされている状態であることを示し、「0」であることをもってフィルタ再生制御の実行が必要ではない状態であることを示すフラグである。フィルタ再生要求フラグは、初期状態では「0」であり、「1」に更新されたあとは、図7を参照して後述するようにフィルタ再生制御が完了したときに、「0」に更新される。
(1)制御装置100によれば、昇温制御が実行され、フィルタ23の温度がPMの燃焼し得る温度になっているときにモータリング制御が実行される。そして、モータリング制御が実行されると、内燃機関10の空転に伴い、高温になっているフィルタ23に酸素が供給されるため、フィルタ23に堆積しているPMが燃焼する。すなわち、制御装置100では、昇温制御とモータリング制御とによってフィルタ再生制御が実現される。
・PM堆積量が第4規定値PMd以上であるときには触媒劣化抑制制御を実行せずにモータリング制御を実行する構成を例示したが、PM堆積量によらず、触媒劣化抑制制御が要求されているときには、モータリング制御の実行を禁止するようにしてもよい。
・また、基準堆積量に応じて目標温度を2段階に切り替える例を示したが、目標温度の切り替えは2段階に限らず、3段階以上に切り替えてもよい。また、昇温制御開始時の堆積量が多いほど、目標温度を高くするようにしてもよい。
・車速が規定車速SPDa以上であることを条件にモータリング制御を実行するようにしていたが、車速による条件を省略し、モータリング要求フラグが「1」であるときにモータリング制御を実行するようにしてもよい。すなわち、車速によらず、モータリング制御の実行が要求された場合にモータリング制御を実行するようにしてもよい。
Claims (11)
- 内燃機関の出力を利用してモータジェネレータによって発電した電力を充電する蓄電池を搭載したハイブリッド車両に適用され、
前記内燃機関を制御する機関制御部と、前記モータジェネレータを制御するモータジェネレータ制御部とを備え、前記機関制御部及び前記モータジェネレータ制御部により、
前記内燃機関の運転を自動で停止させ、再始動させる間欠停止制御と、
前記内燃機関の出力を増大させて発熱量を増大させるとともに、前記モータジェネレータによる発電量を増大させて前記内燃機関の排気通路に設けられたフィルタの温度を粒子状物質が燃焼し得る温度まで昇温させる昇温制御と、
前記昇温制御を開始すると前記昇温制御が完了するまで前記間欠停止制御による前記内燃機関の運転の停止を禁止する間欠停止禁止制御と、
前記フィルタの温度が粒子状物質の燃焼し得る温度になっていることを条件に前記モータジェネレータによって前記内燃機関の出力軸を駆動して前記内燃機関を空転させるモータリング制御と、を実行するハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記昇温制御において、前記内燃機関の出力を増大させる制御として要求出力を大きくする出力嵩上げ制御を実行する
請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記昇温制御において、前記出力嵩上げ制御に加えて、機関回転数の下限値を高くする下限回転数引き上げ制御を実行する
請求項2に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記昇温制御において、前記出力嵩上げ制御に加えて、点火時期を遅角する点火時期遅角制御を実行する
請求項2又は請求項3に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量が規定堆積量以上であることを条件に前記昇温制御において前記点火時期遅角制御を実行し、
前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量が前記規定堆積量未満である場合には、前記昇温制御において前記点火時期遅角制御を実行しない
請求項4に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記点火時期遅角制御において、前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量が少ないときほど、点火時期の遅角量を小さくする
請求項4又は請求項5に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記昇温制御において、排気を燃焼室に還流させるEGR制御を禁止した状態で、前記点火時期遅角制御を実行する
請求項4〜6のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量が基準堆積量以上であるときには第1温度を目標温度として前記昇温制御を実行し、前記フィルタの温度を第1温度まで昇温させる一方、
前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量が前記基準堆積量未満であるときには前記第1温度よりも低い第2温度を目標温度として前記昇温制御を実行し、前記フィルタの温度を前記第2温度まで昇温させる
請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記ハイブリッド車両では前記内燃機関の排気通路に前記フィルタに加えて排気を浄化する触媒コンバータが設けられており、
前記フィルタの温度が粒子状物質の燃焼し得る温度になっていても、前記フィルタの温度が規定温度以上であるときには、前記モータリング制御の実行を禁止する
請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記ハイブリッド車両では、前記内燃機関の排気通路における前記フィルタよりも上流側に排気を浄化する触媒コンバータが設けられており、
前記触媒コンバータの温度が前記モータリング制御の実行を禁止する触媒劣化抑制制御の実行が要求される温度に達している場合には、前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量に応じて前記モータリング制御の実行可否を決定し、
前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量が判定堆積量以上であるときには前記触媒劣化抑制制御を実行せずに前記モータリング制御を実行する一方で、前記フィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量が前記判定堆積量未満であるときには、前記触媒劣化抑制制御を実行して前記モータリング制御の実行を禁止する
請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 車速が規定車速以上であることを条件に前記モータリング制御を実行する
