Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle control method and a hybrid vehicle control device.
- GPF Gasoline Particulate Filter
- PM Particulate Matter
- JP2015-202832A when more than a predetermined amount of PM is deposited on the filter that collects PM, the engine is driven to raise the temperature of the filter, and after the temperature rise, air is sent by motoring (idling of the engine) to send PM.
- An engine control device that burns and regenerates a filter is disclosed.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a control method for a hybrid vehicle capable of reproducing a GPF without impairing the comfort of the driver.
- a generator that charges a battery using the power of an engine, an electric motor that drives a drive wheel by the power of the battery, and a particulate substance contained in exhaust gas from the engine are collected.
- a method of controlling a hybrid vehicle with a particulate filter is provided. In this control method, electric power is supplied from the battery to the generator, and the motoring operation in which the engine is rotated by the generator is performed to supply air to the particulate filter. Further, the motoring operation is prohibited when a predetermined first condition that the driver does not intend for the motoring operation is satisfied.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram showing a main configuration of a hybrid vehicle according to the first embodiment.
- FIG. 2 is a schematic configuration diagram showing a main configuration of an exhaust system.
- FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the relationship between the GPF temperature and PM deposition amount and the motoring operation.
- FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating motoring control based on the amount of PM deposited in the first embodiment.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating the relationship between the GPF temperature and PM accumulation amount and the motoring operation in the second embodiment.
- FIG. 6 is a flowchart illustrating motoring control based on the amount of PM deposited in the second embodiment.
- FIG. 7 is a flowchart illustrating motoring control based on the amount of PM deposited in the third embodiment.
- FIG. 8 is a flowchart illustrating motoring control based on the amount of PM deposited in the fourth embodiment.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram showing a main configuration of the hybrid vehicle 100 according to the first embodiment.
- the hybrid vehicle 100 includes an engine 1, a generator 2, a battery 3, an electric motor 4, a gear 5, an axle 6, a drive wheel 7, a GPF system 8, and a muffler 9. Further, the hybrid vehicle 100 includes an engine controller 11 that controls the engine 1, a motor controller 12 that controls the drive system, and a vehicle controller 10 that controls the entire hybrid vehicle 100.
- the hybrid vehicle 100 drives the generator 2 using the power of the engine 1, supplies the electric power generated by the generator 2 to the battery 3, and drives the electric motor 4 based on the electric power of the battery 3. It is configured as a so-called series type hybrid vehicle that drives the wheels 7. Therefore, in the hybrid vehicle 100, the power of the engine 1 is basically used not as a power source for driving the vehicle but as a power source for generating the generator 2. When the driving force requirement of the electric motor 4 cannot be satisfied only by the electric power of the battery 3, the electric power generated by the engine 1 is directly supplied to the electric motor 4 in addition to the electric power of the battery 3.
- the engine 1 is mechanically connected to the generator 2 via a speed reducer (not shown).
- the driving force of the engine 1 is transmitted to the generator 2, and the generator 2 generates electric power for charging the battery 3 by the driving force of the engine 1. Further, the generator 2 is rotated by the electric power of the battery 3 as needed to drive the output shaft of the engine 1. That is, the generator 2 has a function as a motor generator.
- the operation of the engine 1 is controlled by the engine controller 11, and the operation of the generator 2 is controlled by the motor controller 12.
- an exhaust passage 13 is connected to the engine 1, and the GPF system 8 and the muffler 9 are provided in the exhaust passage 13 in order from the upstream side.
- the GPF system 8 includes a gasoline particulate filter (GPF) 81 (see FIG. 2) that collects particulate matter (PM) in the exhaust of the engine 1.
- the operation of the GPF system 8 is controlled by the engine controller 11.
- the muffler 9 is provided downstream of the GPF system 8 to reduce the exhaust noise and discharge the exhaust to the outside. The details of the exhaust system of the engine 1 will be described later.
- the engine controller 11 is electrically connected to the engine 1 and the GPF system 8, and is also electrically connected to the vehicle controller 10 that controls the entire hybrid vehicle 100.
- the engine controller 11 transmits information about the engine 1 and the GPF system 8 to the vehicle controller 10 as a signal, receives a command regarding the operation of the engine 1 transmitted from the vehicle controller 10, and controls the engine 1 based on the command.
- the engine controller 11 receives a command from the vehicle controller 10 to control the throttle opening of the engine 1, the ignition timing by the spark plug, the fuel injection amount from the injector, and the like.
- the battery 3 is electrically connected to the generator 2 and the electric motor 4 via the motor controller 12.
- the battery 3 charges the electric power generated by the generator 2 and the regenerative electric power of the electric motor 4, and supplies the charged electric power to the electric motor 4.
- the electric motor 4 is mechanically connected to the axle 6 via the gear 5, and the axle 6 is mechanically connected to the drive wheels 7.
- the electric motor 4 is rotated by the electric power supplied from the battery 3, and the driving force of the electric motor 4 is transmitted to the drive wheels 7 via the gear 5 and the axle 6.
- the hybrid vehicle 100 runs by driving the drive wheels 7 by the driving force of the electric motor 4.
- the motor controller 12 is electrically connected to the generator 2, the battery 3, the electric motor 4, etc. that constitute the drive system of the hybrid vehicle 100, and is also electrically connected to the vehicle controller 10 that controls the entire hybrid vehicle 100.
- the motor controller 12 transmits information about the drive system as a signal to the vehicle controller 10, receives a command regarding the operation of the drive system transmitted from the vehicle controller 10, and based on the command, the generator 2, the battery 3, and the electric motor 4 Etc., control the operation of the drive system.
- the vehicle controller 10 is electrically connected to the atmospheric pressure sensor 14, the accelerator position sensor 15, the shift sensor 16, the mode switch 17, and the like. Further, the vehicle controller 10 is electrically connected to the engine controller 11 that controls the operation of the engine 1 and the motor controller 12 that controls the operation of the drive system.
- the atmospheric pressure sensor 14 detects the atmospheric pressure outside the vehicle.
- the accelerator position sensor 15 detects the amount of operation of the accelerator pedal (accelerator opening degree).
- the shift sensor 16 detects the position of the shift lever.
- the mode switch 17 is a switch for switching the driving mode of the hybrid vehicle 100, and the driving mode includes a normal mode and an EV priority driving mode (manner mode).
- the normal mode the battery 3 is charged by the regenerative power of the electric motor 4, the engine 1 is driven as needed, and the generator 2 generates electricity to charge the battery 3.
- the EV priority running mode the engine 1 is not driven and the battery 3 is not charged by the generator 2.
- the EV priority driving mode is suitable for driving in a residential area or the like because the engine 1 does not generate electricity and no engine noise is generated.
- the traveling mode includes a charge mode in which power generation of the generator 2 by the driving force of the engine 1 is preferentially performed to increase the charge amount of the battery 3.
- the traveling mode may include an eco mode in which the vehicle can be started and stopped only by operating the accelerator by generating a regenerative torque larger than that in the normal mode when the accelerator is released.

- the region R1 is a normal operation region
- R2 is a GPF temperature rising region
- R3 is a motoring region
- R4 is a motoring prohibition region.
- the maximum GPF temperature Tmax is the GPF temperature T when the exhaust temperature of the engine 1 is the maximum temperature, and the GPF temperature T usually does not exceed the maximum GPF temperature Tmax. Therefore, the state point determined by the PM deposition amount S and the GPF temperature T is not included in the region on the higher temperature side than the maximum GPF temperature Tmax.
- the vehicle controller 10 When a predetermined amount (first predetermined amount) of PM of S 1 or more is deposited on the GPF, if the GPF temperature T is PM combustible temperature T 1 or more (that is, when the state point is in the region R3), the vehicle controller 10 Perform motoring operation.
- the motoring operation means that the output shaft of the engine 1 is driven by the generator 2 to idle the engine 1. By motoring, air is sent to the high temperature GPF81, the combustion of PM deposited on the GPF81 is promoted, and the GPF81 is regenerated.
- the vehicle controller 10 drives the engine 1.
- the engine 1 When the engine 1 is driven, the exhaust temperature of the engine 1 rises, and the GPF 81 rises.

It is set according to the quantity S.
- the allowable GPF temperature decreases as the PM deposition amount S increases. This is because the larger the PM deposit amount S, the larger the temperature rise of GPF81 when motoring is performed.
- the first predetermined amount S 1 It was decided to prohibit motoring operation even when the above PM is accumulated.
- FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating motoring control based on the PM accumulation amount in the hybrid vehicle 100 of the first embodiment. The following controls are executed by the vehicle controller 10 at regular time intervals.
- step S10 the vehicle controller 10 receives the signal of the differential pressure Pdiv and the signal of the GPF temperature T from the GPF system 8, and estimates the PM accumulation amount S of the GPF81 based on the differential pressure Pdiv.
- step S11 the vehicle controller 10 determines whether the PM accumulation amount S of the GPF 81 is equal to or greater than the first predetermined amount S 1 .
- the vehicle controller 10 proceeds to the process of step S16, does not perform the motoring operation, and controls the motoring based on the PM accumulation amount. End the process.
- the vehicle controller 10 executes the process of step S12.
- step S12 the vehicle controller 10 determines whether the temperature T of the GPF 81 is equal to or higher than the PM combustible temperature T 1 .
- the vehicle controller 10 executes the process of step S15.
- the vehicle controller 10 executes the process of step S13.
- step S13 the vehicle controller 10 determines whether the PM accumulation amount S of GPF81 is temperature increase start PM accumulation amount S 3 or more. When the PM accumulation amount S is smaller than the temperature rise start PM accumulation amount S 3 , the state point is in the normal operation region R1, and the vehicle controller 10 ends the processing of the motoring control based on the PM accumulation amount.
- the controller 50 executes the process of step S14.
- step S14 the controller 50 drives the engine 1, raises the temperature T of the GPF 81, and returns to the process of step S12. - the vehicle controller 10 determines in step S15 whether or not a predetermined first condition in which the driver does not intend the motoring operation is satisfied.
- the vehicle controller 10 is driven, for example, whether it is set to the charge mode, the SOC of the battery 3 is equal to or less than the predetermined value SOC 1 , the EV priority running mode is set, or there is a heating request. Judge whether there is a force request. If any of these conditions apply, it is determined that the first condition is satisfied. When the first condition is satisfied, the vehicle controller 10 proceeds to the process of step S16, prohibits the motoring operation, and ends the process of motoring control based on the PM accumulation amount.
- the motor even when the PM accumulation amount S of GPF81 is first predetermined amount S 1 or more Ring operation is prohibited. This prevents the driver's comfort from being impaired due to the motoring operation being performed at an unintended timing by the driver. That is, when the charge mode is set, the SOC of the battery 3 is a predetermined value SOC 1 or less, the EV priority driving mode is set, there is a heating request, or there is a driving force request. If this is the case, motoring operation is prohibited.
- the driver When the charge mode is set, the driver requests the battery 3 to be charged, and the driver intends to give priority to the power generation of the generator 2 by the driving force of the engine 1 to increase the charge amount of the battery 3. There is. That is, it is not intended to stop the fuel injection of the engine and perform the motoring operation. Further, even when the SOC of the battery 3 is low (a predetermined value SOC 1 or less), the driver expects that the battery 3 will be charged by the power generation of the generator 2, so that the fuel injection of the engine is stopped and the motoring is performed. It is not intended to drive. Therefore, if the motoring operation is performed at these timings, the required electric power is not charged to the battery 3, and the comfort of the driver may be impaired.
- SOC of the battery 3 a predetermined value SOC 1 or less
- the driver intends to operate quietly with less noise, and does not intend to perform motoring operation in which driving noise is generated. Therefore, normally, not be PM accumulation amount S of GPF81 exceeds the limit allowable amount S lim.
- the hybrid vehicle 100 When the first predetermined amount S 1 or more of PM (particulate matter) is deposited on the GPF 81 (particulate filter), the hybrid vehicle 100 performs a motoring operation to supply air to the GPF 81. As a result, the combustion of PM deposited on GPF81 is promoted, and GPF81 is regenerated. On the other hand, when a predetermined first condition that the driver does not intend for the motoring operation is satisfied, the motoring operation is prohibited even if PM (particulate matter) of the first predetermined amount S 1 or more is accumulated. - the hybrid vehicle 100 prohibits motoring operation when the SOC of the battery is equal to or less than a predetermined value SOC 1 .
- the SOC of the battery 3 is low (less than or equal to the predetermined value SOC 1 )
- the driver expects to charge the battery 3 by generating electricity from the generator 2 by the driving force of the engine 1. That is, it is not intended to stop the fuel injection of the engine to perform the motoring operation. Therefore, if the motoring operation is performed when the SOC of the battery is less than or equal to the predetermined value SOC 1 , the required electric power is not charged to the battery 3, and the comfort of the driver may be impaired.
- the motoring operation is prohibited when the SOC of the battery is equal to or less than the predetermined value SOC 1 .
- the predetermined value SOC 1 the predetermined value

- the hybrid vehicle 100 prohibits motoring operation when there is a heating request.
- the driver does not intend to stop the fuel injection of the engine to perform the motoring operation because it is necessary to drive the engine 1 to raise the water temperature of the engine 1. Therefore, if the fuel injection of the engine is stopped and the motoring operation is performed when there is a heating request, the heating request cannot be satisfied and the comfort of the driver may be impaired.
- the motoring operation is prohibited when there is a heating request. Therefore, in the present embodiment, in the case of a low vehicle speed, the driver's discomfort is reduced by performing the motoring operation at a rotation speed lower than a predetermined rotation speed.
- step S39 the vehicle controller 10 determines whether the vehicle speed corresponds to a predetermined speed or less, and if so, determines that the second condition is satisfied.

That is, in step S30, the vehicle controller 10 estimates the PM accumulation amount S, and if the PM accumulation amount S is less than the first predetermined amount S 1 , the process proceeds to step S38, the motoring operation is not performed, and the PM accumulation amount is not performed. The processing of motoring control based on is completed.
- the PM accumulation amount S is the first predetermined amount S 1 or more, it is determined whether there are PM combustion can temperature T 1 or more, when the temperature T of the GPF81 combustion enabled temperature T 1 or more PM, the processing in step S35 Execute.
- the PM deposition amount S is smaller than the temperature rise start PM deposition amount S 3 , the motoring control process based on the PM deposition amount is completed, and the PM deposition amount S If the temperature rise start PM deposit amount S 3 or more, the temperature of GPF 81 is raised by driving the engine, and then the process of step S35 is executed.
- step S35 the vehicle controller 10 determines the success or failure of the motoring restriction requirement, prohibits the motoring operation when the motoring restriction requirement is satisfied, and ends the motoring control process based on the PM accumulation amount. If the motoring restriction requirement is not satisfied, the process of step S36 is executed.
- step S36 the vehicle controller 10 determines the success or failure of a predetermined first condition in which the driver does not intend the motoring operation, and if the first condition is satisfied, proceeds to the process of step 37 and the PM accumulation amount S of GPF81 is the second. It is determined whether the predetermined amount S 2 or more. When the PM accumulation amount S is the second predetermined amount S 2 or more, the vehicle controller 10 proceeds to the process of step 40, performs the motoring operation, regenerates the GPF 81, and when the differential pressure Pdim becomes equal to or less than the predetermined value. The processing of motoring control based on the amount of PM deposited is completed. When the PM accumulation amount S is less than the second predetermined amount S 2 , the process proceeds to step S38, the motoring operation is prohibited, and the motoring control process based on the PM accumulation amount is terminated.
- step S36 if the predetermined first condition is not satisfied in step S36, the vehicle controller 10 executes the process of step S43.
- step S43 the vehicle controller 10 determines whether or not a predetermined third condition for closing the throttle from a predetermined opening degree is satisfied.
- the vehicle controller 10 provides the GPF 81 with an amount of air that promotes the combustion of PM deposited on the GPF 81, preferably an optimum amount of air for promoting the combustion of PM.
- the throttle opening is controlled so as to be supplied.
- the predetermined third condition that the throttle should be closed from the predetermined opening degree is satisfied in relation to the performance of other parts. Therefore, in the present embodiment, when the predetermined third condition that the throttle should be closed from the predetermined opening degree is satisfied in relation to the performance of other parts, the throttle is motorized in step S40.
- the motoring operation is performed by closing the opening (predetermined throttle opening) of.
- the motoring operation is performed by closing the throttle more than a predetermined opening.
- the SOC allowable charge upper limit value SOC lim of the battery 3 is set to a value large enough to require discharge. That is, in the present embodiment, when the SOC of the battery 3 is large and discharge is required, the motoring operation is performed with the throttle closed more than a predetermined throttle opening degree and the pump loss increased. As a result, the power consumption of the generator 2 can be increased, and the battery 3 can be protected more reliably. Further, when a brake negative pressure is requested, it is necessary to control the throttle to be closed and increase the suction negative pressure. Therefore, the throttle is closed more than a predetermined throttle opening to perform the motoring operation.
- step S43 the vehicle controller 10 determines whether the SOC of the battery 3 is equal to or higher than the allowable charge upper limit SOC lim or when the brake negative pressure is requested, and if any of the above conditions is met, the third condition is satisfied.
- the third condition is not necessarily limited to the above case, and if the throttle should be closed more than a predetermined opening in relation to the performance of other parts, a case other than the above is included in the third condition. You may.
- step S44 the vehicle controller 10 closes the throttle from a predetermined throttle opening degree to perform the motoring operation, and ends the processing of the motoring control based on the PM accumulation amount.
- step S43 the vehicle controller 10 proceeds to the process of step S40, and the predetermined throttle opening (for example, the optimum amount of air for promoting the combustion of PM is GPF81).
- the predetermined throttle opening for example, the optimum amount of air for promoting the combustion of PM is GPF81.
- the motoring operation is performed with the throttle opening) as supplied to.
- the GPF81 is regenerated, and the differential pressure Pdim becomes equal to or less than a predetermined value
- the vehicle controller 10 ends the processing of the motoring control based on the PM accumulation amount.
- the throttle when necessary in relation to the performance of other parts, the throttle is closed more than the predetermined throttle opening and the motoring operation is performed. As a result, it is possible to prevent inconvenience from occurring in relation to the performance of other parts due to the motoring operation.
- step S35 for determining the success or failure of the motoring restriction requirement
- step S43 for determining whether or not the predetermined third condition is satisfied
- step S44 for controlling the throttle opening degree based on the step S43. Is also executed, but only one of the processes of step S35 and steps S43 and S44 may be executed.
- the process of determining whether or not the predetermined second condition is satisfied in the third embodiment (S39) and the step of controlling the engine 1 based on the step (S39) are not performed.
- the processing of these steps may be added to the embodiment.
- the throttle is predetermined.
- the motoring operation is performed by closing the opening rather than the opening.
- the throttle is closed more than the predetermined opening degree when the brake negative pressure is required. And perform motoring operation.
- the vehicle controller 10 supplies the throttle to a predetermined opening degree (for example, an optimum amount of air for promoting the combustion of PM) to the GPF 81. Control the opening).
- a predetermined opening degree for example, an optimum amount of air for promoting the combustion of PM
- the throttle is closed more than a predetermined opening degree to perform the motoring operation. This makes it possible to prevent the required braking performance from being lost when a negative brake pressure is required.
