Claims (6)
- 液体を吐出するノズル孔と、
前記ノズル孔と連通する液室と、
前記ノズル孔から液体を吐出するために、前記液室内の液体の圧力を変化させる圧電素子と、
前記圧電素子に駆動波形電圧を印加するための駆動波形信号を生成する駆動波形生成回路と、
前記駆動波形信号に含まれる複数の波形の少なくともいずれかを選択的に前記圧電素子に供給するスイッチと、
前記駆動波形信号を生成する周期である駆動周期内において、前記複数の波形のいずれかを選択して前記ノズル孔から液体を吐出する吐出制御期間後の液体を吐出しない非吐出制御期間に、前記圧電素子に所定電圧を印加する電圧設定制御を実施する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記駆動周期が第1の周期より短いときに前記電圧設定制御を実施せず、前記駆動周期が前記第1の周期以上のときに前記電圧設定制御を実施することを特徴とする液体吐出装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記電圧設定制御中、前記ノズル孔から液体を吐出せずに前記液室内の圧力を変化させる微駆動波形信号を少なくとも1回、前記圧電素子に印加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出装置。
- 前記電圧設定制御の実施時の前記圧電素子への前記所定電圧の印加タイミングは、複数の前記駆動周期のいずれかの前記吐出制御期間の開始タイミングよりも第1の時間以上前に設定され、
前記第1の時間は、前記吐出制御期間において前記駆動波形信号の連続する2つパルス波形の最小時間間隔であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の液体吐出装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記駆動波形信号に含まれる複数の波形の少なくともいずれかを前記スイッチに選択させる複数の選択パターンを生成し、
前記選択パターンの少なくとも1つにおける前記電圧設定制御の実施時の前記圧電素子への前記所定電圧の印加タイミングは、他の前記選択パターンにおける前記電圧設定制御の実施時の前記圧電素子への前記所定電圧の印加タイミングと異なることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出装置。 - 複数の前記ノズル孔と、
複数の前記ノズル孔に対応する複数の前記圧電素子と、を備え、
前記圧電素子の少なくとも1つにおける前記電圧設定制御の実施時の前記圧電素子への前記所定電圧の印加タイミングは、他の前記圧電素子における前記電圧設定制御の実施時の前記圧電素子への前記所定電圧の印加タイミングと異なることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出装置。 - 前記複数の選択パターンの各々は、最も長い駆動周期に対応するパターン長を有し、前記非吐出制御期間に対応するパターン中に、前記圧電素子への前記所定電圧の印加タイミングを含み、
複数の前記駆動周期の各々において、前記非吐出制御期間が前記所定電圧の印加タイミングを含まない場合、前記電圧設定制御が実施されず、前記非吐出制御期間が前記所定電圧の印加タイミングを含む場合、前記電圧設定制御が実施されることを特徴とする請求項4または請求項5に記載の液体吐出装置。
