Abstract
Description
そこで、開いた金型に材料を載置した状態でマイクロ波により材料自体を発熱させ、金型を閉じて所定の形状に成形する製造方法がある(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
図1は、本実施の形態における成形装置を示す斜視図(図1(a))、および、図1(a)のIb−Ib線による断面図(図1(b))である。ここでは、成形装置の金型を閉じた状態を示している。
上記実施の形態においては、プレス成形を行う縦型の成形装置について説明したが、本実施の形態においては、上記実施の形態において説明した成形装置を、射出成形を行う横型の成形装置に適用した例について説明する。
成形装置2000は、金型10aと、2本の同軸ケーブル20と、マイクロ波照射手段30と、冷却装置60と、供給用チューブ61と、排出用チューブ62と、射出装置70とを備えている。2本の同軸ケーブル20と、マイクロ波照射手段30と、冷却装置60と、供給用チューブ61と、排出用チューブ62とについては、上記実施の形態と同様であるため、ここでは詳細な説明は省略する。
なお、上記各実施の形態において、マイクロ波照射手段30が出力するマイクロ波を伝送する伝送手段として同軸ケーブル20を用いる代わりに、フレキシブル導波管を用いるようにしてもよい。

Claims (17)
- 成形用のキャビティを形成する複数の金型部材を備えた金型であって、前記金型の外部と前記キャビティとを連通する複数の連通孔を有している金型と、
前記複数の連通孔に対して第一の端部がそれぞれ取付けられたマイクロ波伝送用の複数の可変伝送手段と、
前記複数の可変伝送手段の第二の端部と接続され、前記複数の可変伝送手段を介して、前記キャビティ内にマイクロ波を照射するマイクロ波照射手段とを備えた成形装置。 - 前記マイクロ波照射手段は、前記キャビティ内に配置される成形材料に対してマイクロ波を照射する請求項1記載の成形装置。
- 前記キャビティ内に配置される成形材料は、固体または液体の成形材料であり、
前記マイクロ波照射手段は、前記成形材料を、マイクロ波を照射して加熱する請求項1または請求項2記載の成形装置。 - 前記マイクロ波照射手段は、前記キャビティ内におけるマイクロ波の強度分布が所望の強度分布となるよう、前記キャビティ内に前記複数の可変伝送手段を介してそれぞれマイクロ波を照射する請求項1から請求項3いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記マイクロ波照射手段は、前記複数の可変伝送手段を介してそれぞれ照射するマイクロ波の位相を制御する請求項1から請求項4いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記マイクロ波照射手段は、異なる周波数のマイクロ波を照射する請求項1から請求項5いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記マイクロ波照射手段は、前記複数の可変伝送手段を介して異なる出力のマイクロ波を照射する請求項1から請求項6いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記マイクロ波照射手段は、複数の可変伝送手段を介してマイクロ波を照射する期間を、異なる期間とする請求項1から請求項7いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記複数の金型部材は、可動型と固定型とを含み、
前記連通孔は、可動型に設けられている請求項1から請求項8いずれか一項記載の成形装置。 - 前記複数の金型部材は、マイクロ波照射時において、前記キャビティ内に照射されるマイクロ波が、前記金型の外部に漏洩しない形状を有している請求項1から請求項9いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記マイクロ波照射手段は、半導体型発振器または注入同期型発振器を有している請求項1から請求項10いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記可変伝送手段は、同軸ケーブルまたは可変導波管である請求項1から請求項11いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記可変伝送手段は、フレキシブル導波管またはスライド式導波管である請求項1から請求項11いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 前記金型は、プレス成形用金型である請求項1から請求項13いずれか一項記載の成形装置。
- 成形用のキャビティを形成する複数の金型部材を備えた金型であって、
前記金型の外部と前記キャビティとを連通しており、前記キャビティ内にマイクロ波を照射するための複数の可変伝送手段がそれぞれ取付けられる複数の連通孔を有している金型。 - 前記連通孔に取付けられる可変伝送手段は、前記キャビティに配置される成形材料に対してマイクロ波を照射するため可変伝送手段である請求項15記載の金型。
- 成形用のキャビティを形成する複数の金型部材を備えた金型であって、前記金型の外部と前記キャビティとを連通する複数の連通孔を有している金型の前記キャビティ内に、成形材料を配置する工程と、
前記金型のキャビティ内に配置された成形材料に対し、前記金型部材の複数の連通孔にそれぞれ取付けられた複数の可変伝送手段を介してマイクロ波を照射する工程とを備えた成形品製造方法。
