Abstract
Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る流体圧送装置1の一部を断面で示した図である。この図に示すように、流体圧送装置1は、メインタンク2、サブタンク3、メインフォロワプレート4、サブフォロワプレート5、メインシリンダ6,6、サブシリンダ7,7、ドラムポンプ(ポンプ)8等を備えて構成されている。
次に、前述の如く構成された流体圧送装置1の動作について説明する。図1は、メインタンク2およびサブタンク3それぞれにウレタン接着剤Uが満充填された状態を示している。この状態からウレタン接着剤Uの圧送が開始されると、メインシリンダ6,6の作動によってタイバー62が下降し、これによってメインフォロワプレート4が、メインタンク2内のウレタン接着剤Uに対して上側から加圧力を付与する。この加圧力に起因してメインタンク2内のウレタン接着剤Uから前記チェックプレート45(図2を参照)に作用する押圧力が所定値以上となった際には、チェックプレート45が上方へ移動し、メインタンク2内のウレタン接着剤Uの一部が、ジョイントプレート33の開口33a、サブタンク3の接着剤導入開口32を経てサブタンク3内に流入する。
メインタンク2の交換時には、サブタンク3内のウレタン接着剤Uが流体経路に向けて圧送されることになる。つまり、後述するメインタンク交換作業を行いながらも、ドラムポンプ8の作動によってサブタンク3からウレタン接着剤Uが流出され、このウレタン接着剤Uが流体経路に向けて圧送されることになる。ここでのドラムポンプ8の作動は、前述した動作と同様に行われる。つまり、このドラムポンプ8の作動は、メインタンク2の存在の有無に関わりなく、塗布ロボットが要求するウレタン接着剤Uの量に応じて行われる。
なお、本発明は、前記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲および該範囲と均等の範囲で包含される全ての変形や応用が可能である。

Claims (4)
- 流体経路に向けて流体を圧送する流体圧送装置において、
前記流体が充填されたメインタンクと、
前記メインタンク内の前記流体に向けて加圧力を付与するメインフォロワプレートと、
前記メインフォロワプレートに一体的に設けられ且つ前記メインタンクから押し出された前記流体が流入されるサブタンクと、
前記サブタンク内の前記流体を前記流体経路に向けて圧送するポンプと、
を備えていることを特徴とする流体圧送装置。 - 請求項1記載の流体圧送装置において、
前記メインタンクの交換作業中、前記サブタンク内の前記流体を前記ポンプに向けて押し出すための加圧力を該流体に付与するサブフォロワプレートを備えていることを特徴とする流体圧送装置。 - 請求項1または2記載の流体圧送装置において、
前記メインフォロワプレートと前記サブタンクとの間には、前記メインタンク内における前記流体の圧力が所定値以上になった際に開放されるチェックバルブが配設されていることを特徴とする流体圧送装置。 - 請求項1、2または3記載の流体圧送装置において、
前記サブタンクの容量は、前記メインタンクの容量よりも少なく、且つ前記メインタンクの交換作業中に前記流体経路に向けて圧送される必要流体量よりも所定量だけ多い値に設定されていることを特徴とする流体圧送装置。
