Abstract
Description
本願は、米国仮特許出願第61/251,236号(名称「Fluid Delivery Device」、2009年10月13日出願)、および米国仮特許出願第61/325,136号(名称「Fluid Delivery Device」、2010年4月16日出願)の利益を主張し、これらの出願の両方は、その全体が本明細書に参照することによって援用される。

格納位置、作動可能位置、および係合位置を有する針であって、該針は、該係合位置において該流体貯蔵部と流体連通しており、該作動可能位置および格納位置において該流体貯蔵部と流体連通していない、針と、
近位端および遠位端を有する付勢部材であって、該付勢部材の該近位端は、該筐体に連結され、該付勢部材の該遠位端は、該流体貯蔵部に力を伝達するように構成される、付勢部材と、
該付勢部材を通って延在し、該付勢部材の該遠位端に連結されるピストン部材であって、該ピストン部材は、該付勢部材が該流体貯蔵部に該力を伝達しないように係止位置において該筐体に対して固定され、該付勢部材が該流体貯蔵部に該力を伝達するように解放位置において該筐体に対して可動である、ピストン部材と
を備え、該針を該格納位置から該作動可能位置まで移行させることは、該ピストンを該係止位置から該解放位置まで移行させる、デバイス。
(項目2)
上記付勢部材と上記流体貯蔵部との間に連結される油圧式基礎チャンバをさらに備える、項目1に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目3)
油圧式ポンプチャンバ、および該油圧式ポンプチャンバと上記油圧式基礎チャンバとを流体的に連結する流量制限器をさらに備える、項目2に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目4)
上記ピストンは、上記油圧式基礎チャンバに連結されるプランジャ先端部を含む、項目2に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目5)
上記ピストンは、上記筐体を通って延在するピンによって該筐体に解放可能に連結され、キャップは、上記格納位置において上記針の上に延在し、該キャップは、該キャップを除去することによって該ピストンを解放するように該ピンに連結される、項目1に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目6)
上記付勢部材は、少なくとも2つの重複する同軸ばねを備える、項目1に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目7)
流体送達デバイスであって、
流体貯蔵部を有する筐体と、
該筐体に連結される第1の付勢部材と、
該第1の付勢部材に直列に連結され、該第1の付勢部材と少なくとも部分的に重複する第2の付勢部材であって、該第1および第2の付勢部材は、該流体貯蔵部に力を伝達するように構成される、第2の付勢部材と
を備える、デバイス。
(項目8)
上記第1および第2の付勢部材を通って延在するプランジャをさらに備える、項目7に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目9)
上記プランジャは、遠位端において上記第2の付勢部材に連結され、近位端において上記筐体に解放可能に連結される、項目8に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目10)
上記プランジャは、上記筐体および上記プランジャを通って延在するピンによって該筐体に解放可能に連結される、項目9に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目11)
上記プランジャは、上記筐体を通って延在するピンによって該筐体に解放可能に連結され、該ピンに連結される針カバーをさらに備える、項目10に記載の流体送達デバイス。(項目12)
上記第1および第2の付勢部材と上記油圧式ポンプチャンバとの間に連結される油圧式基礎チャンバ、および該油圧式基礎チャンバと該油圧式ポンプチャンバとを流体的に連結する流量制限器をさらに備える、項目7に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目13)
上記油圧式ポンプチャンバは、上記油圧式基礎チャンバの断面積よりも小さい断面積を有する、項目12に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目14)
上記第1の付勢部材を上記第2の付勢部材と連結するスリーブをさらに備え、該スリーブは、該第1の付勢部材と第2の付勢部材との間の重複部の長さに略等しい長さを有する、項目7に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目15)
上記スリーブは、本体と、第1のフランジ端部と、第2のフランジ端部とを有し、該第1のフランジ端部は、該スリーブの該本体から半径方向外側に延在し、上記第1の付勢部材の端部と連結するように構成され、該第2のフランジ端部は、該本体から半径方向内側に延在し、上記第2の付勢部材の端部と連結するように構成される、項目14に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目16)
流体送達デバイスであって、
皮膚表面と係合するように構成され、第1の熱伝導率を有する取付け面と、
油圧式ポンプチャンバと、
該取付け面に近接する外壁の一部を有し、第2の熱伝導率を有する油圧式基礎チャンバであって、該第2の熱伝導率は、該第1の熱伝導率よりも高い、油圧式基礎チャンバと、
該油圧式基礎チャンバと該油圧式ポンプチャンバとを流体的に連結する流量制限器と、
該油圧式ポンプチャンバに連結される流体貯蔵部であって、患者に送達可能な流体を収容するように構成される流体貯蔵部と、
該油圧式基礎チャンバに連結されるアクチュエータであって、該アクチュエータは、該油圧式基礎チャンバおよび該油圧式ポンプチャンバを通って該流体貯蔵部にエネルギーを伝達するように該油圧式ポンプチャンバを加圧するように構成されることにより、持続的な基礎速度で該流体を送達する、アクチュエータと
を備える、デバイス。
(項目17)
上記取付け面は、絶縁部材を含む、項目16に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目18)
上記絶縁部材は、少なくとも部分的に解放されることにより、上記取付け面に近接する上記油圧式基礎チャンバの上記外壁の上記一部を少なくとも部分的に露出する、項目17に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目19)
上記流体貯蔵部は、上記筐体から少なくとも部分的に離間される、項目16に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目20)
底面を有する筐体をさらに備え、上記油圧式基礎チャンバの上記外壁部分は、該筐体の該底面から外側に延在する、項目16に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目21)
上記油圧式基礎チャンバの上記外壁の上記一部は、上記取付け面と略整列した想像上の接線を有する、項目16に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目22)
上記油圧式基礎チャンバの上記外壁の上記一部は、上記皮膚表面と直接接触するように構成される、項目16に記載の流体送達デバイス。
(項目23)
上記油圧式基礎チャンバの上記外壁の残りの部分は、第3の熱伝導率を有し、該第3の熱伝導率は、上記第2の熱伝導率よりも低い、項目16に記載の流体送達デバイス。
