タイプ「無添加OCP sd」のOLEDデバイスは、単一バリアスタック(一対の無機層の間に挟まれたゲッタ粒子のない有機層を備える)を有する。
タイプ「0.1%CaO sd」のOLEDデバイスは、図1に示される単一バリアスタックを有し、有機層は、0.1wt%CaOサブミクロンゲッタ粒子を含む。
タイプ「無添加OCP dd」のOLEDデバイスは、二重バリアスタックを有し、両方の有機層は、ゲッタ粒子がない。
タイプ「0.1%CaO dd」のOLEDデバイスは、二重バリアスタックを有し、両方の有機層は、0.1wt%CaOサブミクロンゲッタ粒子を含む。これらは、図2の実施形態の例である。

Claims (14)
- 第1の無機層(2)、第2の無機層(3)、およびサブミクロンゲッタ粒子(5)を含む第1の有機層(4)を備えるバリア膜積層体(1)であって、前記有機層は、前記第1の無機層と前記第2の無機層との間に位置し、前記第1の無機層、前記第2の無機層、および前記第1の有機層は、すべて光学的に透明であり、前記有機層内のサブミクロンゲッタ粒子の量が、前記有機層の0.01から0.9wt%の間であることを特徴とする、バリア膜積層体(1)。
- 第3の無機層(7)、および第2の有機層の0.01から0.9wt%の間の量でサブミクロンゲッタ粒子を含む前記第2の有機層(8)を備え、前記第2の有機層は、前記バリア膜積層体が、有機および無機層の交互スタックを備えるように、前記第1の無機層(2)と前記第3の無機層(7)との間に位置する、請求項1に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 前記第1の有機層内のサブミクロンゲッタ粒子の量は、前記第1の有機層の0.01から0.5wt%の間である、請求項2に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 前記唯一の有機層内または前記有機層の1つもしくは複数内の前記サブミクロンゲッタ粒子の数平均化粒径は、200ナノメートル以下である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 前記サブミクロンゲッタ粒子は、酸化カルシウム、酸化バリウム、酸化マグネシウム、または酸化ストロンチウムを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 前記サブミクロンゲッタ粒子は、放射線硬化有機材料内に埋め込まれる、請求項5に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 酸化カルシウムサブミクロンゲッタ粒子を含む、請求項5に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 基板(21)を備える、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 前記基板は、柔軟な基板である、請求項8に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 前記基板は、光学的に透明である、請求項8または9に記載のバリア膜積層体。
- 裸の有機電子デバイス(41)および請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のバリア膜積層体(11)を備えるカプセル化有機電子デバイス(30)。
- 前記裸の有機電子デバイスは、前記基板(21)と前記バリア膜積層体(11)との間に位置する、請求項11に記載のカプセル化有機電子デバイス(40)。
- 前記バリア膜積層体(11)は、前記基板(21)と前記裸の有機電子デバイス(41)との間に位置する、請求項11に記載のカプセル化有機電子デバイス(50)。
- 前記有機電子デバイスは、有機発光ダイオードを備える、請求項11、12、または13に記載のカプセル化有機電子デバイス。
