Abstract
Description
a)第1の押出機E1中で、熱可塑性ポリウレタンを溶融する工程と、
b)第2の押出機E2中に、ガス状発泡剤を注入する工程と、
c)第3の押出機E3中で、前記熱可塑性ポリウレタンの溶融物を前記ガス状発泡剤に均一に含浸させる工程と、
d)ダイプレートを介して、前記含浸させた熱可塑性ポリウレタンを押し出し、温度及び圧力条件下で水中造粒装置で前記溶融物を顆粒化して、発泡熱可塑性ポリウレタン粒子を形成する工程と
を含む発泡熱可塑性ポリウレタン粒子の製造方法により解決された。

3つの異なるタイプの押出機を接続し、以下の装置を
1.第1の押出機に乾燥器、
2.第2の押出機にガスドージングシステム、
3.第3の押出機に水中ペレット化システム、
それぞれ、取り付けている。
回転速度:47rpm
出口圧力:7.5MPa
発泡剤:
N2:圧力8MPa(TPUに対して0.4〜0.5%)
CO2:圧力4MPa(TPUに対して1.1〜1.4%)。
回転速度:24rpm
入口圧力:8MPa
ダイ圧力:9MPa。
比較例には、TPUの溶融、ガスドージング及びガスの拡散を実施する1つの押出機のみを使用した。
TPUバインダーElastan C8008を用いて、実施例1〜15からのTPU発泡粒子を成形し、80℃で30分圧力を掛けた。成形品の物理的特性を表1にまとめる。
JIS K 6767に従って、成形品の密度及び圧縮強度を決定した。
Claims (5)
- 発泡熱可塑性ポリウレタン粒子の製造方法であって、
a)第1の押出機E1中で、熱可塑性ポリウレタンを溶融する工程と、
b)第2の押出機E2中に、ガス状発泡剤を注入する工程と、
c)第3の押出機E3中で、前記熱可塑性ポリウレタンの溶融物を前記ガス状発泡剤に均一に含浸させる工程と、
d)ダイプレートを介して、前記含浸させた熱可塑性ポリウレタンを押し出し、温度及び圧力条件下で水中造粒装置で前記溶融物を顆粒化して、発泡熱可塑性ポリウレタン粒子を形成する工程と
を含む、方法。 - 工程d)で形成される、前記発泡熱可塑性ポリウレタン粒子のかさ密度が30〜250kg/m3の範囲にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- CO2、N2、又はCO2とN2の組み合わせを、ガス状発泡剤として使用する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 一軸押出機を押出機E1及び押出機E3として使用し、二軸押出機を押出機E2として使用する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水中造粒装置における水が、1〜20バールの圧力、及び10〜50℃の温度を有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
