Abstract
Description

1つの態様において、本発明は、リジン、グリシン、スレオニン、バリン、チロシン、アスパラギン酸、イソロイシン、トリプトファン、アスパラギン、およびセリンから選択される1つまたは複数の遊離アミノ酸;ならびに任意で治療的に許容される担体、電解質、緩衝剤、および香味剤を含む、本質的にそれらからなる、またはそれらからなる、肺機能を改善するための治療用組成物を提供する。
1つの態様において、本発明は、そのような処置を必要とする対象に本発明の治療用組成物を投与する段階を含む、肺機能を改善するための方法を提供する。
本発明は、治療的有効量の本組成物および任意で薬学的に許容される担体を含む、治療用組成物または薬学的組成物を提供する。そのような薬学的担体は、水など滅菌した液体でありうる。治療用組成物はまた、賦形剤、アジュバント、香味剤なども含みうる。ある態様において、治療用組成物およびその中に含有される全ての成分は滅菌状態である。
Claims (14)
- リジン、グリシン、スレオニン、バリン、チロシン、アスパラギン酸、イソロイシン、トリプトファン、アスパラギン、およびセリンから選択される1つまたは複数の遊離アミノ酸、ならびに任意で治療的に許容される担体、電解質、緩衝剤、および香味剤を含む治療用組成物の有効量を、肺傷害を引き起こし得る線量で胸部に放射線を受ける対象に投与する段階を含む、放射線により誘発される肺合併症を予防および/または処置する方法。
- 治療用組成物が、L-リジン、L-グリシン、L-スレオニン、L-バリン、L-チロシン、L-アスパラギン酸、L-イソロイシン、およびL-セリン、ならびに任意で治療的に許容される担体、電解質、緩衝剤、および香味剤を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
