Abstract
【解決手段】シール材10は、水素化ニトリルゴムをゴム成分の主体とするゴム組成物で形成されている。ゴム成分は、アクリロニトリル含量が48質量%以上52質量%以下の第1水素化ニトリルゴムと、それよりもアクリロニトリル含量が低い第2水素化ニトリルゴムとを含む。

Description
以下の、実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜2の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製した。それぞれの構成については表1及び2にも示す。
第1HNBRとしての第1ゴム成分(結合アクリロニトリル量:49.2質量%、ヨウ素価:23mg/100mg)と、第2HNBRとしての第2ゴム成分(結合アクリロニトリル量:44.2質量%、ヨウ素価:24mg/100mg)とを、第1ゴム成分/第2ゴム成分=90/10の質量比で混合してゴム成分を構成し、このゴム成分100質量部に対して、芳香族第二級アミン系老化防止剤であるスチレン化ジフェニルアミン2質量部、加工助剤4.5質量部、補強剤のカーボンブラック60質量部、ポリエーテルエステル系可塑剤5質量部、架橋剤の有機化酸化物5質量部、及び共架橋剤の液状ポリブタジエンゴム3質量部を配合して混練した未架橋ゴム組成物を実施例1とした。
第1ゴム成分/第2ゴム成分=85/15の質量比としたことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を実施例2とした。
第1ゴム成分/第2ゴム成分=80/20の質量比としたことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を実施例3とした。
第1ゴム成分/第2ゴム成分=70/30の質量比としたことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を実施例4とした。
第1ゴム成分/第2ゴム成分=60/40の質量比としたことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を実施例5とした。
第1ゴム成分/第2ゴム成分=50/50の質量比としたことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を実施例6とした。
第1ゴム成分/第2ゴム成分=30/70の質量比としたことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を実施例7とした。
ゴム成分を第1HNBRの第1ゴム成分のみで構成したことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を比較例1とした。
ゴム成分を第2HNBRの第2ゴム成分のみで構成したことを除いて実施例1と同一構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を比較例2とした。
<ゴム硬さ>
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜2のそれぞれの未架橋ゴム組成物を用いて所定の試験片を作製し、JIS K6253におけるスプリング式硬さ試験に基づいてゴム硬さを測定した。なお、試験片作製時の一次加硫における加工温度は170℃、及び加工時間は20分とし、二次加硫におけるオーブンの設定温度は150℃、及び加熱時間は4時間とした(以下、同様)。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜2のそれぞれの未架橋ゴム組成物を用いて所定の試験片を作製し、JIS K6253に基づいて引張強さTB、伸びEB、及び100%伸び時における引張応力M100を測定した。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜2のそれぞれの未架橋ゴム組成物を用いて所定の試験片を作製し、JIS K6262に基づいて、試験温度を120℃及び試験時間を72時間として圧縮永久ひずみを測定した。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜2のそれぞれの未架橋ゴム組成物を用い、上記実施形態と同様の形状のシール材を作製した。そのシール材4個をスプールに外嵌めして取り付け、その状態でそれぞれの初期装着外径を測定した。その後、そのシール材を取り付けたスプールをそのまま試験管内の70℃に調温したドレンに浸漬した。1008時間の浸漬の後、試験管を冷却してドレンからスプールを取り出した。4個のシール材のそれぞれの外径をスプールに取り付けた状態で再度測定した。そして、4個のシール材のそれぞれについて、ドレン浸漬前後の外径の変化量をドレン浸漬前の外径で除して100倍し、それを4個のシール材で平均したものを寸法変化率とした。また、この寸法変化率について、0.50%未満をA評価及び0.50%以上をB評価とした。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜2のそれぞれの未架橋ゴム組成物を用いて直径6.3mm及び高さ8.0mmの円柱状の試験片を作製し、図3に示すように、試験片41を固定具42で固定すると共に金属板43に押接し、その状態で試験片41の底面が金属板43に摺接するように金属板43を往復運動させた。ここで、金属板43の材質はSS400、表面粗度Ryは3.2、及び仕上げ方向は摺動方向と直交する方法とした。また、試験片41の金属板43への押圧圧力は0.1MPa、金属板43の往復数は60回/分、金属板43の往復のストロークは10mm、及び金属板43の往復回数は10万回とした。そして、試験前後の試験片41の質量の減量を試験片41の比重及び底面積で除すことにより摩耗量(mm)を算出し、比較例2の摩耗量を1としてそれぞれの相対値を求めた。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜2のそれぞれの未架橋ゴム組成物を用いて成形品を作製したときの金型からの離型性について、成形品が手ですぐに取れるものをA評価及び成形品が手ですぐに取れないものをB評価とした。また、成形品の外観について、表面を顕微鏡観察し、流れ、欠け、及びフローマーク等の外観不良が認められないものをA評価及び外観不良が認められるものをB評価とした。

Claims (5)
- 水素化ニトリルゴムをゴム成分の主体とするゴム組成物で形成されたシール材であって、
前記ゴム成分は、アクリロニトリル含量が48質量%以上52質量%以下の第1水素化ニトリルゴムと、前記第1水素化ニトリルゴムよりもアクリルニトリル含量が低い第2水素化ニトリルゴムとを含むシール材。 - 請求項1に記載されたシール材において、
前記第2水素化ニトリルゴムのアクリロニトリル含量が18質量%以上47.9質量%以下であるシール材。 - 請求項1又は2に記載されたシール材において、
前記第1水素化ニトリルゴムの含有量が前記第2水素化ニトリルゴムの含有量よりも多いシール材。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載されたシール材において、
前記ゴム組成物が芳香族第二級アミン系老化防止剤を含有するシール材。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載されたシール材において、
前記ゴム組成物がポリエーテルエステル系可塑剤を含有するシール材。
