Abstract
【解決手段】端子付電線10の製造方法は、下記工程(a)乃至(c)を備える。工程(a)は、底部33と前記底部33に立設された一対の圧着片34とを有する芯線圧着部32と、前記芯線圧着部32のうち前記底部33の延在方向に沿った一部の領域の外側に突出するように重ねられた部分重なり部36とを備える端子金具30を準備する工程である。工程(b)は、電線20における芯線露出部を前記芯線圧着部32に収める工程と、工程(c)は、前記芯線圧着部32を前記芯線露出部に圧着する工程である。

Description
以下、実施形態に係る端子付電線およびその製造方法について説明する。端子付電線10は、電線20における芯線露出部に端子金具30が圧着された構成となっている(図9参照)。この際、端子金具30と芯線22との圧着箇所において、芯線22の圧縮率の異なる2つの部分が電線20の軸方向に沿って並ぶように設けられている。これにより、端子付電線10の機械的強度の確保と、電線20と端子金具30との間の電気抵抗を小さくすることと、を両立させることを可能にしている。
次に、上記端子金具30を電線20に圧着して端子付電線10を製造する製造方法について説明する。
具体的には、図5、図6に示すように、端子圧着機80における下型84上に端子金具30が支持されると共に、端子金具30に芯線露出部が収容された状態で、端子圧着機80における上型82と、上記下型84とを接近移動させる。この接近移動が進むにつれ、図7に示すように、上型82が圧着片34を曲げ変形させていく。この時、図7に示すように、圧縮が開始される前に圧着片34が閉じられることが好ましい。そして、図8に示すように上型82と下型84とが最も接近した状態で、端子金具30及び芯線露出部が所望の形状にプレスされた状態となり、圧着が完了する。
図14は、実施形態に係る端子金具30の第1変形例を示す斜視図である。図15は、第1変形例に係る端子金具130を展開した図である。
これまで部分重なり部36が、芯線圧着部32を構成する板材の一部が曲げ変形されて構成されているものとして説明してきたが、このことは必須の構成ではない。例えば、芯線圧着部32を構成する板材のうち一部の厚み寸法が異なることによって、部分重なり部36が設けられるものであってもよい。また、例えば、芯線圧着部32を構成する板材とは、別体で部分重なり部36が設けられるものであってもよい。部分重なり部36が芯線圧着部32を構成する板材とは別体で設けられる場合、芯線圧着部32としては、従来のものを使用することができる。

Claims (6)
- (a)底部と前記底部に立設された一対の圧着片とを有する芯線圧着部と、前記芯線圧着部のうち前記底部の延在方向に沿った一部の領域の外側に突出するように重ねられた部分重なり部とを備える端子金具を準備する工程と、
(b)電線における芯線露出部を前記芯線圧着部に収める工程と、
(c)前記芯線圧着部を前記芯線露出部に圧着する工程と、
を備える、端子付電線の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の端子付電線の製造方法であって、
前記工程(b)において、第1の電線における前記芯線露出部と、第2の電線における前記芯線露出部とが1つの前記芯線圧着部に収められる、端子付電線の製造方法。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の端子付電線の製造方法であって、
前記部分重なり部は、前記芯線圧着部を構成する板材の一部が曲げられて形成されている、端子付電線の製造方法。 - 芯線と、前記芯線を覆う絶縁被覆とを含み、長手方向に沿った一部の領域で前記芯線が露出する芯線露出部が形成された電線と、
底部と前記底部に立設された一対の圧着片とを有し、前記芯線露出部に圧着されている芯線圧着部と、前記芯線圧着部のうち前記底部の延在方向に沿った一部の領域の外側に重ねられた部分重なり部とを含み、前記芯線圧着部のうち前記部分重なり部と重なる部分が、前記芯線露出部側に突出している端子金具と、
を備える、端子付電線。 - 請求項4に記載の端子付電線であって、
第1の電線における前記芯線露出部と、第2の電線における前記芯線露出部とが重なる領域に、1つの前記端子金具が圧着されている、端子付電線。 - 請求項4又は請求項5に記載の端子付電線であって、
前記部分重なり部は、前記芯線圧着部を構成する板材の一部が曲げられて形成されている、端子付電線。
