前記シール部材は、外輪に支持される円筒部とその円筒部の一端側内周に連なる端壁とを有する支持枠と、前記端壁に形成された複数の窓穴と、各窓穴を塞ぐフィルタとで構成され、
前記軸受空間に潤滑油を流し、その潤滑油中に混入している異物を前記フィルタで濾し取る内部潤滑式の転がり軸受を改善の対象にして、
前記保持器を磁性体で形成してその保持器の前記シール部材の端壁に対向する側の端部にパルサーリングを一体に形成し、
当該パルサーリングの、周方向に定ピッチで配置されている凹部と凸部に対面させる磁気回転センサを前記シール部材に装着した(以下ではこれを第1の形態の回転センサ付き転がり軸受と言う)。
温度変化に伴うシール部材40の膨張・収縮により磁気回転センサ8からパルサーリング7までの距離が変動し、それに伴い、磁気回転センサ8の出力値に変化が生じる。従って、その出力値の変化から軸受の温度を検知することもできる。
支持枠41の端壁41bに取り付けることもできる。ただし、磁気回転センサ8が支持枠41の円筒部41aに取り付けられているものは、潤滑油の流れによって磁気回転センサに加わる力が低減されるので、設置規制を受けない場合には、円筒部41aに取り付けるのがよい。

前記軸受空間(5)に潤滑油を流し、その潤滑油中に混入している異物を前記フィルタ(43)で濾し取る内部潤滑式の転がり軸受であって、
前記保持器(4)と内輪(1)がそれぞれパルサーリング(7)を備え、各パルサーリング(7)の凹部(7a)と凸部(7b)に個別に対面させる磁気回転センサ(8)を前記シール部材(40)に装着した回転センサ付き転がり軸受。 - 前記磁気回転センサ(8)を、前記シール部材(40)の円筒部(41a)に装着した請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の回転センサ付き転がり軸受。
- 前記磁気回転センサ(8)として、アナログ波形の検出信号を出力するものを設けた請求項5に記載の回転センサ付き転がり軸受。
- 前記シール部材(40)の支持枠の円筒部(41a)に、温度変化に伴う前記内輪(1)との間の距離変動を検出するギャップセンサを追設した請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の回転センサ付き転がり軸受。
