Abstract
【解決手段】表示装置100であって、スペーサ56と、可撓性を有し、画像表示を行う表示領域Aと、額縁領域Bと、屈曲領域Cと、端子を有する端子領域Dとが、この順で並んで設けられると共に、屈曲領域Cがスペーサ56の形状に沿うように屈曲することによりスペーサ56の背面側Rに端子領域Dが配置されるフレキシブル基板10と、表示領域Aの背面側Rに貼り付けられる第1補強部58aと、端子領域Dの表示面側Fに貼り付けられる第2補強部58bと、屈曲領域Cの内面側であってフレキシブル基板10の幅方向の一部分に貼り付けられる屈曲補強部58cと、を有する補強フィルム58と、を有することを特徴とする。

Claims (6)
- スペーサと、
可撓性を有し、画像表示を行う表示領域と、額縁領域と、屈曲領域と、端子を有する端子領域とが、この順で並んで設けられると共に、前記屈曲領域が前記スペーサの形状に沿うように屈曲することにより前記スペーサの背面側に前記端子領域が配置されるフレキシブル基板と、
前記表示領域の背面側に貼り付けられる第1補強部と、前記端子領域の表示面側に貼り付けられる第2補強部と、前記屈曲領域の内面側であって前記フレキシブル基板の幅方向の一部分に貼り付けられる屈曲補強部と、を有する第1補強フィルムと、
を有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記屈曲補強部は、前記フレキシブル基板の幅方向の両端に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1補強部と前記第2補強部とは、前記屈曲補強部を介して繋がっていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記スペーサは、前記屈曲領域の屈曲をガイドするガイド部と、第1段差が形成されることにより前記ガイド部よりも凹んだ第1底面と、第2段差が形成されることにより前記ガイド部よりも凹んだ第2底面と、前記第1底面及び前記第2底面と同一面であって前記ガイド部に沿った形状の第3底面と、を有し、
前記第1補強部は前記第1底面上に設けられ、前記第2補強部は前記第2底面上に設けられ、前記屈曲補強部は前記第3底面上に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1段差と前記第2段差とは、屈曲により前記フレキシブル基板が伸縮する方向において異なる位置に形成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示領域の表示面側に貼り付けられる第2補強フィルムを有し、
前記第1補強部の端部と前記第2補強フィルムの端部とは、屈曲により前記フレキシブル基板が伸縮する方向において異なる位置に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
