Abstract
Description
重炭酸リチウムを含む溶液を準備する工程、
その溶液中の重炭酸リチウムを、金属イオン、リン酸イオンおよび炭素源と反応させる工程、
固体を、重炭酸リチウムを含む、または含んでいた溶液から、固液分離により分離する工程、ならびに
その固体を熱処理し、被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩を提供する工程。
リチウム鉱物を炭酸ナトリウム、特に炭酸ナトリウム溶液の形態で加圧溶解し、続いてその母液を二酸化炭素で処理することにより、
リチウム鉱物を鉱酸で抽出して炭酸リチウム組成物を得て、これを二酸化炭素で処理し、重炭酸リチウム溶液を形成することにより、または
工業グレード炭酸リチウム溶液を二酸化炭素で精製し、高純度の重炭酸リチウム溶液を形成することにより、得られる。

1.炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩の製造方法であって、
精製された重炭酸リチウムを含む溶液を準備する工程、
溶液中の重炭酸リチウムを、金属イオン、リン酸イオンおよび炭素源と反応させ、固体沈殿物を生成する工程;
固体を、重炭酸リチウムを含む溶液から固液分離により分離する工程;および
固体を熱処理し、炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩を提供する工程
を含む、方法。
リチウム鉱物を炭酸ナトリウムで加圧溶解し、二酸化炭素を用いる分離と精製後に重炭酸リチウム溶液を回収することにより、
リチウム鉱物を鉱酸で抽出して炭酸リチウム組成物を得て、これを二酸化炭素で処理し、重炭酸リチウム溶液を形成することにより、または
工業グレード炭酸リチウム溶液を二酸化炭素で精製し、高純度の重炭酸リチウム溶液を形成することにより、得られる、実施形態1または2に記載の方法。
Li2CO3を、オートクレーブ中で加圧CO2(10バール)下で水(約2g/70ml H2O)に溶解し、LiHCO3溶液を調製した。同時に、H2O(25ml)を含む丸底フラスコに、窒素雰囲気下で、FeSO4・7H2O(12.38g)、H3PO4溶液(85%)(3.2ml)および炭素源/還元剤のグルコース(6g)およびアスコルビン酸(1g)を加えた。LiHCO3溶液を、リチウムが化学量論的に約20%過剰になるまで、撹拌しながら丸底フラスコにピペットで入れた。アンモニアの水溶液(25%、25ml)および界面活性剤(IGEPAL(登録商標)CA−630)(0.1ml)を、丸底フラスコに加えた。形成されたスラリーをオートクレーブ反応器に注ぎ、CO2中で170℃で3時間反応させた。内容物を冷却した。固体を吸引により溶液から分離し、40℃で真空乾燥した。固体を700℃で3時間窒素下で熱処理した。得られた粒子を直径40μmより小さいものに分け、LiFePO4(94.2%)を得た。
5.00gのLi2CO3を、第1工程(工程1)において、75mlの蒸留水に、10バールのCO2圧で2時間かけて溶解した。

Claims (23)
- 炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩の製造方法であって、
精製された重炭酸リチウムを含む溶液を準備する工程、
該溶液中の該重炭酸リチウムを、金属イオン、リン酸イオンおよび炭素源と反応させ、固体沈殿物を生成する工程;
該固体を該溶液から固液分離により分離する工程;および
該固体を熱処理し、炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩を提供する工程
を含む、方法。 - 工業用炭酸リチウム組成物を二酸化炭素と接触させて炭酸リチウムを重炭酸リチウムとして水相に溶解させ、任意に非溶解物質を分離することによって、該重炭酸リチウム溶液が工業用炭酸リチウム組成物の精製により得られる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 該重炭酸リチウム溶液が、
リチウム鉱物を炭酸ナトリウム溶液で加圧溶解し、二酸化炭素を用いる分離と精製後に該重炭酸リチウム溶液を回収することにより、
リチウム鉱物を鉱酸で抽出して炭酸リチウム組成物を得て、これを二酸化炭素で処理し、重炭酸リチウム溶液を形成することにより、または
工業グレードの炭酸リチウム溶液を二酸化炭素で精製し、高純度の重炭酸リチウム溶液を形成することにより、得られる、請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 該重炭酸リチウムが、リシア輝石、葉長石、リシア雲母もしくはそれらの混合物、または天然リチウム含有塩水、特にリシア輝石から得られる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該重炭酸リチウム溶液が、リシア輝石からのリチウム化学物質の生成から得られ、炭酸リチウムを水溶液中に二酸化炭素と共に溶解させ、方沸石を分離し、任意に残りのリチウム化合物を精製する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。

- 該炭素源が、該金属イオンの10〜60重量%、好ましくは該金属イオンの20〜55重量%、好適には該金属イオンの25〜45重量%、特に該金属イオンの40重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該反応が、水相中における温度で、130℃を超える温度、好ましくは140〜200℃で実施される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該反応が、5バールを超える圧力、好ましくは6〜20バールの範囲の圧力、特に約10バールの圧力で実施される、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該反応が、7を超えるpH、好ましくは14未満のpH、典型的には7.5〜12で実施される、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該pHが、アンモニア、金属水酸化物、金属酸化物もしくはそれらの混合物の群から選択されるアルカリまたは塩基の添加により増加する、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 重炭酸リチウムを含む分離された溶液が、重炭酸リチウムを含有する精製された溶液を生成する濾過により精製され、炭酸リチウム結晶が、重炭酸リチウムを含有する該精製された溶液から結晶化により回収される、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該リチウム遷移金属リン酸塩上の炭素被覆が反応中にカラメル化され、カラメル化炭素被覆を提供する、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該カラメル化炭素被覆が、400℃を超える、特に500℃を超える、好適には600℃を超える、最も好適には約650℃、典型的には1200℃以下の温度での熱処理の間に燃焼され、炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩を提供する、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、
精製された重炭酸リチウムを含む溶液を準備する工程、
該溶液中の該重炭酸リチウムを、金属イオン、リン酸イオンおよび炭素源と反応させ、固体沈殿物を生成する工程、
該固体を重炭酸リチウムを含有する該溶液から固液分離により分離する工程、および任意に
該固体を熱処理し、炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩を提供する工程、
の少なくとも1つ、好ましくは全てを、連続プロセスの形態で実施する、方法。 - 請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、該重炭酸リチウム溶液が、
リチウム原料の抽出により、または工業グレードの炭酸リチウム溶液の精製により得られ、および
このようにして得られた重炭酸リチウム溶液が、任意に精製後に、炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩の調製のためにそのまま使用される、方法。 - 炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩が、重炭酸リチウムの別のリチウム化合物への介在転換なしに、例えば沈殿により、リチウム原料から得られた重炭酸リチウムから調製される、請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 電池の正極材料として適した炭素被覆リチウム金属リン酸塩を製造するための、請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載の方法の使用。
- 該リチウム金属リン酸塩正極が、少なくとも1つの電気化学セルを含む電池で使用され、前記電気化学セルは正極および負極を含む、請求項22に記載の使用。
