- ナノフェライト合金表面におけるチタンの濃度が、約0.15wt%から約2wt%の範囲内である、請求項1記載の物品。
- マトリックス相が、約10重量パーセントから約30重量パーセントの量のクロムを含む、請求項1記載の物品。
- マトリックス相が、約3重量パーセントから約10重量パーセントの量のモリブデンを含む、請求項1記載の物品。
- 表面が、カイ相を実質的に含まない、請求項1記載の物品。
- 表面が、シグマ相を実質的に含まない、請求項1記載の物品。

粉末を熱機械的に固化して、固化された構成要素を形成するステップと;
固化された構成要素を焼鈍して、焼鈍された構成要素を形成するステップと;
焼鈍された構成要素を冷却して、加工された構成要素を形成するステップと
を含む方法であって、
加工された構成要素は、ナノ構造フェライト合金を含む表面を備え、ナノ構造フェライト合金は、鉄含有合金マトリックス中に配置された複数のナノ特徴を備え、複数のナノ特徴は、複合酸化物粒子を含み、複合酸化物粒子は、イットリウムおよびチタンを含み;
表面におけるマトリックスは、約5重量パーセントから約30重量パーセントのクロム、および約0.1重量パーセントから約10重量パーセントのモリブデンを含み;
表面におけるナノ構造フェライト合金中のカイ相またはシグマ相の濃度は、約5体積パーセント未満であり;
焼鈍ステップは、カイ相およびシグマ相のソルバス温度を超える温度で行われる、方法。 - 熱機械的に固化するステップが、熱間等方圧加圧、押出、鍛造、圧密、またはこれらのいずれかの組合せを含む、請求項11記載の方法。
