【課題】食品に混入した場合でも識別可能であり、かつ製膜性及び生産性に優れる食品包装用フィルムを提供すること。
【解決手段】塩化ビニリデン系樹脂と、青色着色剤と、白色着色剤と、を含有する食品包装用フィルム。

Description

本発明は、食品包装用フィルムに関する。
従来、食品包装用フィルムは、ホテル、レストラン等において業務用として、あるいは家庭において食品保存時、調理時等に幅広く使用されている。食品包装用フィルムに対しては、使用時の利便性向上のために種々の改良が行われている。例えば特許文献1には、包装される食材及び容器とフィルムとの同化を防ぐと共に、フィルムの端面を容易に判別でき、かつ該端面におけるフィルム同士、又は食材及び容器とフィルムとの必要以上の密着を防止すること等を目的として、フィルムの所定の箇所にエンボス加工が施されてなる食品包装用フィルムが開示されている。

本発明は、食品に混入した場合でも識別可能であり、かつ製膜性及び生産性に優れる食品包装用フィルムを提供することを目的とする。
本発明は、塩化ビニリデン系樹脂と、青色着色剤と、白色着色剤と、を含有する食品包装用フィルムを提供する。
青色着色剤の含有量は、好ましくはフィルム全量基準で0.6〜2.4質量%である。
白色着色剤の含有量は、好ましくはフィルム全量基準で0.12〜0.65質量%である。
本発明によれば、食品に混入した場合でも識別可能であり、かつ製膜性及び生産性に優れる食品包装用フィルムを提供することができる。
本実施形態に係るフィルムは、塩化ビニリデン系樹脂と、青色着色剤と、白色着色剤と、を含有し、食品包装用フィルムとして好適に用いられる。
塩化ビニリデン系樹脂は、例えば、塩化ビニリデンと、塩化ビニリデンと共重合可能なその他のモノマーとをモノマー単位として含む共重合体であってよい。その他のモノマーは、塩化ビニル、アクリル酸と炭素数1〜8のアルコールとのアクリル酸エステル、メタクリル酸と炭素数1〜8のアルコールとのメタクリル酸エステル、脂肪族カルボン酸のビニルエステル、不飽和脂肪族カルボン酸、オレフィン、ビニルエーテル等であってよい。
塩化ビニリデン系樹脂における塩化ビニリデン単位の含有量は、モノマー単位の全量を基準として、例えば、60質量%以上、70質量%以上、又は80質量%以上であってよく、98質量%以下、又は97質量%以下であってよい。塩化ビニリデン系樹脂におけるその他のモノマー単位の含有量は、モノマー単位の全量を基準として、例えば、2質量%以上、又は3質量%以上であってよく、40質量%以下、30質量%以下、又は20質量%以下であってよい。
塩化ビニリデン系樹脂の重量平均分子量は、例えば、40000〜180000、60000〜160000、又は80000〜140000であってよい。塩化ビニリデン系樹脂の重量平均分子量は、GPC法により、分子量既知のポリスチレンを標準物質として測定することができる。
塩化ビニリデン系樹脂の含有量は、フィルム全量基準で、例えば70質量%以上、又は80質量%以上であってよい。フィルムは、塩化ビニリデン系樹脂に加えて、その他の塩化ビニリデン系樹脂を更に含有していてもよい。
青色着色剤は、例えば、可視光領域(380〜750nm)における最大吸収波長が600〜750nmに存在する着色剤である。青色着色剤の可視光領域における最大吸収波長での吸光度は、470nmでの吸光度の好ましくは2倍以上、より好ましくは3倍以上である。具体的には、青色着色剤は、銅フタロシアニン(銅フタロシアニンブルー)、ヘキサシアノ鉄(ii)酸鉄(III)、酸化第一コバルト・酸化アルミニウム混合物、インジゴ又はウルトラマリンであってよい。これらの青色着色剤は、1種単独又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いられる。
青色着色剤の含有量は、識別性に更に優れる観点から、好ましくは、フィルム全量基準で、0.6質量%以上、0.7質量%以上、0.8質量%以上、0.9質量%以上、又は1.0質量%以上である。青色着色剤の含有量は、製膜性及び生産性に更に優れる観点から、好ましくは、フィルム全量基準で、2.4質量%以下、2.3質量%以下、2.2質量%以下、2.1質量%以下、又は2.0質量%以下である。青色着色剤の含有量は、識別性、製膜性及び生産性のすべてで更に優れる観点から、好ましくは、フィルム全量基準で、0.6〜2.4質量%、0.6〜2.3質量%、0.6〜2.2質量%、0.6〜2.1質量%、0.6〜2.0質量%、0.7〜2.4質量%、0.7〜2.3質量%、0.7〜2.2質量%、0.7〜2.1質量%、0.7〜2.0質量%、0.8〜2.4質量%、0.8〜2.3質量%、0.8〜2.2質量%、0.8〜2.1質量%、0.8〜2.0質量%、0.9〜2.4質量%、0.9〜2.3質量%、0.9〜2.2質量%、0.9〜2.1質量%、0.9〜2.0質量%、1.0〜2.4質量%、1.0〜2.3質量%、1.0〜2.2質量%、1.0〜2.1質量%、又は1.0〜2.0質量%である。
白色着色剤は、例えば、可視光領域(380nm〜750nm)の全範囲における吸光度が0.3以下である(可視光線を散乱させる)着色剤である。具体的には、白色着色剤は、酸化チタン、酸化チタン−硫酸バリウム、酸化チタン−ケイ酸マグネシウム、酸化チタン−硫酸カルシウム又は酸化亜鉛であってよい。これらの白色着色剤は、1種単独又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いられる。
白色着色剤の含有量は、識別性に更に優れる観点から、好ましくは、フィルム全量基準で、0.12質量%以上、0.14質量%以上、0.16質量%以上、0.18質量%以上、又は0.2質量%以上である。白色着色剤の含有量は、製膜性及び生産性に更に優れる観点から、好ましくは、フィルム全量基準で、0.65質量%以下、より好ましくは0.6質量%以下、0.55質量%以下、又は0.5質量%以下である。白色着色剤の含有量は、識別性、製膜性及び生産性のすべてで更に優れる観点から、好ましくは、フィルム全量基準で、0.12〜0.65質量%、0.12〜0.6質量%、0.12〜0.55質量%、0.12〜0.5質量%、0.14〜0.65質量%、0.14〜0.6質量%、0.14〜0.55質量%、0.14〜0.5質量%、0.16〜0.65質量%、0.16〜0.6質量%、0.16〜0.55質量%、0.16〜0.5質量%、0.18〜0.65質量%、0.18〜0.6質量%、0.18〜0.55質量%、0.18〜0.5質量%、0.2〜0.65質量%、0.2〜0.6質量%、0.2〜0.55質量%、又は0.2〜0.5質量%である。
フィルムは、塩化ビニリデン系樹脂、青色着色剤及び白色着色剤に加えて、その他の添加剤を更に含有していてもよい。その他の添加剤としては、可塑剤、防曇剤、熱安定剤、光安定剤、滑剤、充填剤、プレートアウト防止剤、抗酸化剤、離型剤、粘度低下剤、界面活性剤、青色着色剤及び白色着色剤以外の着色剤、蛍光剤、表面処理剤、架橋剤、加工助剤、粘着剤、帯電防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、アンチブロッキング剤等が挙げられる。
フィルムは、塩化ビニリデン系樹脂、青色着色剤及び白色着色剤を含有する層の一層からなっていてもよく、複数の層からなっていてもよい。フィルムが複数の層からなる場合、フィルムは、例えば第1の表面層と中間層と第2の表面層とをこの順に備えていてよい。この場合、例えば、中間層が青色着色剤及び白色着色剤を含有していてよい。フィルムは、例えば、各層間の接着性を向上させるために、酸変性ポリオレフィン樹脂等を含有する接着層を更に備えていてもよく、フィルムの耐熱性を向上させるために、ポリアミド系樹脂を含有する耐熱層を更に備えていてもよい。
フィルムの厚さは、好ましくは5μm以上、より好ましくは6μm以上であってよく、また、好ましくは12μm以下、より好ましくは10μm以下であってよい。
フィルムの全光線透過率は、食品の視認性に優れる観点から、好ましくは70%以上、より好ましくは75%以上である。フィルムの全光線透過率は、食品に対する識別性に更に優れる観点から、好ましくは85%以下、より好ましくは81%以下、更に好ましくは80%以下、特に好ましくは79%以下である。フィルムの全光線透過率は、JIS K7361−1に準拠して測定された全透過光量に基づき、下記式に従って算出される。
全光線透過率(%)=(全透過光量)/(入射光量)×100
フィルムは、塩化ビニリデン系樹脂、青色着色剤及び白色着色剤を含有する組成物を、例えば押出成形することにより製造される。具体的には、該組成物を押出機で加熱溶融してダイ(金型)からチューブ(円筒)状に押出加工した後、水槽で冷却し、次いでこのチューブ状の組成物を再加熱してインフレーション方式で延伸することによりフィルムが得られる。フィルムは、作製しつつ巻き取られるが、巻き取られたフィルムは、20m、50m等の所望の長さに更に巻き替えられ、化粧箱に詰められることで製品とされる。
このようにして得られたフィルムに対して、熱収縮率、自然収縮率等の軽減、幅収縮の発生の抑制などの目的に応じて、加熱ロール間での縦延伸、各種の熱固定、エージング等の熱処理を行ってもよく、防曇性、帯電防止性、粘着性等を付与、促進させる目的で、コロナ処理、熟成等の処理、印刷、コーティング等の表面処理、表面加工などを行ってもよい。
以下、実施例に基づいて本発明を更に具体的に説明するが、本発明は実施例に限定されるものではない。
以下の塩化ビニリデン系樹脂、青色着色剤、白色着色剤及び各種添加剤を用いて表1,2に示す組成を有する樹脂組成物を調製し、各樹脂組成物をインフレーション製膜装置で押出し、厚み9μmのフィルムを作製した。
塩化ビニリデン系樹脂a1:塩化ビニリデンと塩化ビニルとの共重合体(塩化ビニリデン/塩化ビニル(質量比)=90/10)、重量平均分子量:80000
青色着色剤b1:銅フタロシアニン(銅フタロシアニンブルー)
白色着色剤c1:酸化チタン
添加剤d1:セバシン酸ジブチル
添加剤d2:アセチルクエン酸トリブチル
添加剤d3:エポキシ化大豆油
添加剤d4:Ca/Zn系安定剤
得られた各フィルムについて、以下に示すとおり、全光線透過率の測定及び食品に対する識別性の評価を実施した。結果を表1,2に示す。
(全光線透過率の測定)
日本電色工業社製ヘーズメーター(型式:NDH5000)にてJIS K7361−1に準拠してフィルムの全透過光量を測定し、下記式に従ってフィルムの全光線透過率を算出した。
全光線透過率(%)=(全透過光量)/(入射光量)×100
(識別性の評価)
得られたフィルムから3mm〜10mm角の破片を作製し、食品へフィルムを混入させた際に、フィルムの破片を識別できるかを目視で観察した。評価基準は、以下のとおりである。なお、評価がA又はBであれば、識別性に優れているといえる。
A:食品に対してフィルムを識別することが極めて容易である。
B:食品に対してフィルムを識別することが容易である。
C:食品に対してフィルムを識別することが困難である。
(製膜性の評価)
インフレーション製膜装置にて、各樹脂組成物を押出してフィルムの成形を行い、得られたフィルムの外観を観察することで製膜性を評価した。評価基準は、以下のとおりである。なお、評価がA又はBであれば、製膜性に優れているといえる。
A:ほぼ均一の厚みのフィルムが得られた。
B:フィルムの厚みにむらが見られ、長時間の押出でヤケが発生した。
C:フィルムの厚みむらが激しく、比較的短時間でヤケが発生した。
(生産性の評価)
インフレーション製膜装置にて、各樹脂組成物を押出してフィルムの成形を行う際に生じる生産トラブル(穴開き、フィルム切れ、スリット不具合等)の1日当たりの発生回数をカウントすることで生産性を評価した。評価基準は、以下のとおりである。なお、評価がA又はBであれば、生産性に優れているといえる。
A:生産トラブル回数が0〜2回/日
B:生産トラブル回数が3〜4回/日
C:生産トラブル回数が5回/日以上

Claims (3)

  1. 塩化ビニリデン系樹脂と、青色着色剤と、白色着色剤と、を含有する食品包装用フィルム。
  2. 前記青色着色剤の含有量が、フィルム全量基準で0.6〜2.4質量%である、請求項1に記載の食品包装用フィルム。
  3. 前記白色着色剤の含有量が、フィルム全量基準で0.12〜0.65質量%である、請求項1又は2に記載の食品包装用フィルム。
