Abstract
【解決手段】強塩基性活物質と酸化グラフェンの混合物、あるいはそれを加熱処理したものや還元剤を添加して還元処理したものの塩基性の程度を測定し、その結果が、予め定められた範囲に適合したもののみを、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)等の結着剤(バインダー)と混合して、スラリーを形成することで、結着剤のゲル化を防ぐことができる。

Description
本実施の形態では、蓄電池用電極について、図2及び図3を用いて説明する。図2に電極の斜視図を、図3(A)、(B)に、活物質粒子の断面図を示す。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態1で例示した活物質、導電助剤、結着剤を用いて、図2に示す活物質層202を含む電極200を製造する方法について、図1を参照して説明する。
本実施の形態では、蓄電池用電極について、実施の形態1および2とは異なる例について説明する。図9(A)に活物質層の平面図を、図9(B)及び図10に、活物質層の縦断面図を示す。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態3で例示した活物質、導電助剤、結着剤を用いて、活物質層202を含む電極200を製造する方法について、図6を参照して説明する。

Claims (17)
- 活物質を製造する工程と、
第1の導電助剤の酸化誘導体と前記活物質を用いて混合物を製造する工程と、
前記混合物の一部を用いて塩基性の程度を測定する過程と、
前記測定された塩基性の程度が予め定められた範囲内の場合にのみ、前記混合物の他と結着剤と、を用いてスラリーを製造する工程と、を有し、
前記活物質は粉状であり、
前記活物質と、pHが7である水と、を、1対10の重量比で混合して得られる水溶液のpHが11.1以上12.5以下である、
蓄電池用電極の製造方法。 - 前記塩基性の程度を測定する過程では、前記混合物の一部を乾燥させた後、予め定められた比率で、特定のpHを有する水と混合して得られる水溶液の水素イオン濃度が測定される、請求項1に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記特定のpHを有する水のpHは7であり、前記予め定められた比率は、前記混合物を乾燥させて得られる粉体1に対して、前記特定のpHを有する水10の重量比であり、前記予め定められた範囲は、pHが7.0以上11.1未満であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記特定のpHを有する水のpHは7であり、前記予め定められた比率は、前記混合物を乾燥させて得られる粉体1に対して、前記特定のpHを有する水10の重量比であり、前記予め定められた範囲は、pHが10以上11以下であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 活物質を製造する工程と、
第1の導電助剤の酸化誘導体と前記活物質を用いて混合物を製造する工程と、
結着剤と前記混合物とを用いてスラリーを製造する工程と、を有し、
前記活物質は粉状であり、
前記活物質と、pHが7である水と、を、1対10の重量比で混合して得られる水溶液のpHが11.1以上12.5以下であることを特徴とする、
蓄電池用電極の製造方法。 - 前記混合物を乾燥させて得られる粉体と、pHが7である水と、を、1対10の重量比で混合して得られる水溶液のpHが7.0以上11.1未満であることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記混合物を乾燥させて得られる粉体と、pHが7である水と、を、1対10の重量比で混合して得られる水溶液のpHが10以上11以下であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記スラリーをろ過する工程を有する、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記混合物は、前記第1の導電助剤の酸化誘導体が還元されて生成する物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記スラリーを還元する工程を有する、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記スラリーを集電体に塗布後、還元する工程を有する、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記第1の導電助剤の酸化誘導体は酸化グラフェンであることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記酸化グラフェンと、pHが7である水と、を、1対10の重量比で混合して得られる水溶液のpHが0.5以上2.0以下であることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記酸化グラフェンと、pHが7である水と、を、1対10の重量比で混合して得られる水溶液のpHが0.9以上1.2以下であることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記結着剤は、第2の導電助剤を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記第2の導電助剤はアセチレンブラックであることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
- 前記結着剤はポリフッ化ビニリデンを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至16のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電池用電極の製造方法。
