Abstract
【解決手段】 回転軸16に吸気通路10を開閉する複数の弁体17を取り付けた弁体ユニット11を、ハウジング12のハウジング通路28の内側に挿入した上で、ホルダー13をハウジング12に装着して弁体ユニット11を回転可能に支持する。ホルダー13が装着されたハウジング12の上面に、フランジ14を振動溶着により固定し、このフランジ14とハウジング12とによりホルダー13を挟持する。

Claims (4)
- 所定方向に並設された複数の吸気通路を横断する回転軸と、この回転軸の回転に伴って上記吸気通路を開閉する複数の弁体と、を有する弁体ユニットと、
上記複数の吸気通路の一部を構成する複数のハウジング通路が貫通形成されたハウジングと、
上記弁体ユニットを挟んで上記ハウジングに装着され、上記ハウジングとともに上記弁体ユニットを回転可能に支持するホルダーと、を備え、
このホルダーは、上記ハウジング通路の一端が開口するハウジングの側面より上記ハウジング通路の内側に装着され、
かつ、上記ホルダーが装着される側のハウジングの側面に固定されて、上記ハウジングとともに上記ホルダーを挟持するとともに、上記複数のハウジング通路に連なるフランジ通路が貫通形成されたフランジを備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 上記フランジは、振動溶着により上記ハウジングの側面に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
- 上記フランジ通路は、通路長手方向の一方から他方へ向かうに従って通路断面形状が徐々に変化していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
- 上記フランジのハウジングと反対側の側面と、この側面に固定される他の吸気部品と、の間にガスケットが介装されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
