Abstract
Description
図1、2において、11はトラック・バス等に装着される空気入りタイヤであり、この空気入りタイヤ11は半径方向外端に略円筒状のトレッド部12を有する。このトレッド部12の踏面13(外周面)でタイヤ赤道S(トレッドセンター)の両側にはそれぞれ少なくとも1本、ここではタイヤ赤道Sの両側にそれぞれ2本、タイヤ赤道S上に1本、合計5本の周方向細溝14が形成され、これらの周方向細溝14は周方向に連続して延びるとともに、その幅Wは空気入りタイヤ11の接地時に、対向する側壁14a、14b同士が接触する程度、具体的には 0.5〜 3.0mmの範囲内とすることが好ましい。その理由は、前記周方向細溝14の幅Wが 0.5mm未満であると、周方向細溝14を配設しない陸部に比較して排水性の向上効果が認められなくなり、一方、幅Wが 3.0mmを超えると、接地時においても側壁14a、14b同士は離れたままであり、周方向細溝14の両側に位置する陸部同士の支え合いがなくなるからである。なお、この実施形態では前記5本の周方向細溝14の幅Wを同一値としている。また、この発明においては、前記周方向細溝14はタイヤ赤道Sの両側に1本ずつ、合計2本としてもよい。

Claims (5)
- タイヤ赤道Sの両側のトレッド部踏面にそれぞれ少なくとも1本形成され、周方向に連続して延びるとともに、接地時に対向する側壁同士が接触する周方向細溝と、トレッド部踏面に周方向に離れて複数形成され、両トレッド端からタイヤ赤道Sに向かって延びるラグ溝とを備え、トレッド部踏面に形成された周方向に延びる溝を前記周方向細溝のみから構成する一方、前記ラグ溝の幅方向内側端を、前記周方向細溝のうち、両トレッド端に最も近接する外側周方向細溝においてそれぞれ開口させることで終了させたことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記外側周方向細溝を波状に屈曲させた請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記周方向細溝のうち、前記外側周方向細溝間に配置されている内側周方向細溝も波状に屈曲させ、さらに、前記外側周方向細溝の全振幅を内側周方向細溝の全振幅より小とした請求項2記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- タイヤ赤道Sの両側にそれぞれ形成されたラグ溝のタイヤ赤道Sに対する傾斜方向を逆方向とする一方、前記タイヤ赤道Sの両側に位置するトレッド部踏面にそれぞれタイヤ赤道Sに対して傾斜し、接地時に対向する側壁同士が接触する幅方向細溝を形成するとともに、タイヤ赤道Sの両側に形成された幅方向細溝の傾斜方向を同一側に形成されたラグ溝の傾斜方向と同一方向とした請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記周方向細溝の合計本数を7本以下とした請求項3記載の空気入りタイヤ。
