Abstract
Description

Claims (36)
- 副鼻腔または鼻腔に配置するための拡張可能なインプラントであって:
ハブであって、前記ハブを通って伸展する複数の開口部を備えているハブと;
複数のフィラメントであって、前記複数のフィラメントの各々のフィラメントが、前記複数の開口部の対応する開口部に配置されて、前記ハブを通って伸展して、前記ハブの第一の側面上に第一脚部、および前記ハブの第二の側面上に第二の脚部を規定する、複数のフィラメントと、
を備える、拡張可能なインプラント。 - 各々のフィラメントが、第一の直線状セグメントと、第二の直線状セグメントと、前記第一の直線状セグメントと第二の直線状セグメントとの間に位置する湾曲したセグメントとを備える、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 各々のフィラメントの前記湾曲したセグメントが、対応する開口部中に配置されて、前記ハブの第一の側面上に第一の直線状セグメント、および前記ハブの第二の側面上に前記第二の直線状セグメントを配置する、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 各々のフィラメントが、押し出しのポリマーフィラメントである、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ハブおよび前記複数のフィラメントが1つ以上の生分解性物質から形成される、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 薬物放出性コーティングをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- インプラントを圧着するためのデバイスであって:
凹部を備えているハウジングと;
ステム部分から半径方向に伸展する複数のアームを備える圧着部材と、
を備え、前記凹部への前記ステム部分の移動が、前記複数のアームを前記ステム部分に対して回転させる、
デバイス。 - 前記凹部が中央の凹部と、前記中央の凹部から半径方向に伸展している複数のチャネルとを備え、前記複数のアームのうち各々のアームが、前記複数のチャネルの対応するチャネル内に少なくとも部分的に配置されている、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ステム部分と前記凹部との間に配置されているバネをさらに備える、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のアームのうち各々のアームが、チャネルを有する少なくとも1つのホルダーを備える、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ステム部分が、前記インプラントの一部を受容するように構成された凹部を備える、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 1つ以上の状態を処置するためのシステムであって:
複数の脚部を備えるインプラントと;
ハウジングおよび圧着部材を備える圧着デバイスと、
を備え、前記ハウジングが、凹部およびステム部分から半径方向に伸展する複数のアームを備える圧着部材を備え、かつ前記凹部への前記ステム部分の移動が、前記ステム部分に対して前記複数のアームを回転させる、
システム。 - 前記インプラントがさらにハブを備え、ここで前記複数の脚部の各々の脚部が、前記ハブに結合される、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記ステム部分が、前記ハブの一部を受容するように構成された凹部を備える、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記凹部が、中央の凹部と前記中央の凹部から半径方向に伸展している複数のチャネルとを備え、前記複数のアームの各々のアームが前記複数のチャネルのうち対応するチャネル内に少なくとも部分的に配置されている、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記インプラントに対して解放可能に連結するように構成された送達デバイスをさらに備える、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
- 複数の脚部を備えるインプラントを圧着するための方法であって、凹部を有するハウジングとステム部分から半径方向に伸展する複数のアームを備える圧着部材とを備える、圧着デバイスを用いることを包含し、
前記インプラントの各々の脚部と前記圧着部材の対応するアームとを係合することと、
前記圧着部材を前記ハウジングの前記凹部中に移動して、前記ステム部分に対して各々のアームを回転させ、各々のアームの回転が、前記インプラントの対応する脚部を回転させて、前記インプラントを薄型の形状に移動させることを包含する、方法。 - 前記凹部への前記圧着部材の移動が、前記インプラントを前記ステム部分に対して押圧して、前記圧着部材を移動することを包含する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の脚部に対して前記送達デバイスの遠位カップを前進させて、前記インプラントを前記薄型の形状に保持することをさらに包含する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の副鼻腔状態を処置するための方法であって:
インプラントを副鼻腔、副鼻腔口または経鼻通路内の位置に前進させることであって、前記インプラントがハブおよび複数のフィラメントを備えており、前記ハブが前記ハブを通じて伸展する複数の開口部を備え、かつ前記複数のフィラメントのうち各々のフィラメントが前記複数の開口部の対応する開口部に配置されて、前記ハブを通じて伸展して、前記ハブの第一の側に第一の脚部、および前記ハブの第二の側に第二の脚部を規定することと;
前記インプラントを送達することと;
前記インプラントを薄型の形状から拡張型の形状に拡張させることと、
を包含する、方法。 - システムであって:
インプラントを圧着するためのデバイスを備え:前記インプラントが:
ハウジングであって、近位端と遠位端とを有する圧着チャンバを規定し、前記圧着チャンバが、前記圧着チャンバの近位端で開口する近位開口を有するハウジングと;
前記圧着チャンバ内に位置する複数のリブであって、ここで前記複数のリブが、前記複数のリブの隣接するリブの間に複数のチャネルを規定する複数のリブと、
を備える、
システム。 - 前記圧着チャンバが第一のセグメントと第二のセグメントとを備え、前記第一のセグメントが、前記近位開口から前記第二のセグメントの近位端へ伸展する、請求項21に記載のシステム。
- 前記第一のセグメントが、前記第一のセグメントの近位端の第一の直径から、前記第一のセグメントの遠位端の第二の直径まで傾斜する外径を有し、前記第一の直径が、前記第二の直径より大きい、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記第二のセグメントが、前記第二の直径に等しい外径を有する、請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 前記圧着チャンバがさらに、第三のセグメントを備え、前記第二のセグメントが、前記第二のセグメントの遠位端から遠位に伸展する、請求項22に記載のシステム。
