Abstract

長さ残存率(%)=(加工後の複合材内に残存するカーボンナノチューブの平均長さ/原料として用いられた加工前のカーボンナノチューブの平均長さ)×100
下記実施例及び比較例で用いられた各成分及び添加剤は次の通りである。
株式会社LG化学のLUMID GP−1000Bを用いた。
下記表1に記載の多様なID/IG及び平均長さを有するカーボンナノチューブを購入して用いた。
東レ社製の6mm炭素短繊維(chopped carbon fiber)を用いた。
ポリカーボネート樹脂に約8重量%の含有量で含まれた際、約107Ω/sq.の伝導度を具現するカーボンブラックを購入して用いた。前記カーボンブラックは、当業者によって適切に選択できる。
下記表1に記載のカーボンナノチューブ3重量%、その他の添加剤1重量%及び補強材10重量%をポリアミド樹脂(LUMID GP−1000B)94重量%と共に混合した。得られた混合物を280℃で二軸押出機(L/D=42、Φ=40mm)で押出して0.2mm×0.3mm×0.4mmの大きさを有するペレットを製造した。
前記実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜3で製造した試片の特性を下記の方法で測定し、その結果を下記表2に示した。
前記実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜3で得られた試片をASTM D638規格に従って3.2mm厚を有する試片の引張強度及び引張弾性率を評価した。
PINION社のSRM−100を用いて前記実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜3で得られた試片をASTM D257によって試片の表面抵抗を測定した。
前記残存平均長さは、前記ペレットをクロロホルムに分散させて0.1g/lの濃度の分散液を得た後、これを通じて得たTEM(Libra 120、Carl Zeiss Gmbh,Germany)イメージをSCANDIUM 5.1(Olympus soft Imaging Solutions GmbH, Germany)で分析した。
Claims (24)
- 熱可塑性樹脂と、
束状カーボンナノチューブと、
補強材と、を含む樹脂組成物を加工して得られる複合材であって、
前記加工前のカーボンナノチューブのID/IGが1.0以下の値を有し、
前記複合材内に残存する加工後のカーボンナノチューブの長さ残存率が40%〜99%の値を有し、
前記長さ残存率は、下記数式1のとおりであり、

長さ残存率(%)=(加工後の結果物内に残存するカーボンナノチューブの平均長さ/加工前のカーボンナノチューブの平均長さ)×100
前記ID/IGは、加工前のカーボンナノチューブのラマンスペクトルにおけるDバンドピーク及びGバンドピークの強度比である、複合材。 - 前記ID/IGが0.01〜0.99の値を有する請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記加工が押出加工である請求項1または2に記載の複合材。
- 前記長さ残存率が40%〜90%である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブがカーボンナノチューブの筋を複数個含む請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブの筋の平均直径が5nm〜25nmである請求項5に記載の複合材。
- 前記加工前のカーボンナノチューブの平均長さが1μm〜1,000μmである請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材内に残存する加工後のカーボンナノチューブの長さが400nm〜100μmである請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材内に残存する加工後のカーボンナノチューブの平均長さが500nm〜30,000nmである請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材内に残存する加工後のカーボンナノチューブの平均長さが500nm〜5,000nmである請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部に対して、前記加工前のカーボンナノチューブの含有量が0.1〜10重量部である請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部に対して、難燃剤、衝撃補強剤、難燃補助剤、活剤、可塑剤、熱安定剤、滴下防止剤、酸化防止剤、相溶化剤、光安定剤、顔料、染料、無機物添加剤及びドリップ防止剤からなる群より1つ以上選択される添加剤0.1〜10重量部をさらに含む請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂がポリカーボネート樹脂、ポリプロピレン樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、アラミド樹脂、芳香族ポリエステル樹脂、ポリオレフィン樹脂、ポリエステルカーボネート樹脂、ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂、ポリフェニレンスルフィド樹脂、ポリスルフォン樹脂、ポリエーテルスルフォン樹脂、ポリアリーレン樹脂、シクロオレフィン系樹脂、ポリエーテルイミド樹脂、ポリアセタール樹脂、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂、ポリケトン樹脂、ポリエーテルケトン樹脂、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン樹脂、ポリアリールケトン樹脂、ポリエーテルニトリル樹脂、液晶樹脂、ポリベンズイミダゾール樹脂、ポリパラバン酸樹脂、芳香族アルケニル化合物、メタクリル酸エステル、アクリル酸エステル、及びシアン化ビニル化合物からなる群より選択される1種以上のビニル単量体を、重合或いは共重合させて得られるビニル系重合体若しくは共重合体樹脂、ジエン−芳香族アルケニル化合物共重合体樹脂、シアン化ビニル−ジエン−芳香族アルケニル化合物共重合体樹脂、芳香族アルケニル化合物−ジエン−シアン化ビニル−N−フェニルマレイミド共重合体樹脂、シアン化ビニル−(エチレン−ジエン−プロピレン(EPDM))−芳香族アルケニル化合物共重合体樹脂、ポリオレフィン、塩化ビニル樹脂、塩素化塩化ビニル樹脂からなる群より選択される少なくとも1つ以上である請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記補強材が纎維状構造を持つ請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記補強材が炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、粉砕されたガラス繊維、アラミド纎維、アルミナ纎維、炭化ケイ素纎維、セラミック纎維、アスベスト纎維、石膏纎維及び金属纎維のうち1つ以上である請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記補強材の含有量が、熱可塑性樹脂100重量部に対して0.1〜50重量部である請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 炭素系伝導性添加剤をさらに含む請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 前記炭素系伝導性添加剤がカーボンブラック、グラフェン、フラーレン及びカーボンナノファイバーのうち1つ以上である請求項17に記載の複合材。
- 前記カーボンブラックがファーネスブラック、チャンネルブラック、アセチレンブラック、ランプブラック、サーマルブラック及びケッチェンブラックのうち1つ以上である請求項18に記載の複合材。
- 前記炭素系伝導性添加剤の含有量が、前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部を基準として0.1〜30重量部である請求項17〜19のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の複合材を含む成形品。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の複合材を加工して得られる成形品。
- 前記加工が、押出加工、射出加工、または押出/射出加工である請求項22に記載の成形品。
