Claims (24)
- 共回転式ツインスクリュー処理機中でスチレン樹脂とPPEを含むブレンドを調製するための方法であって、
− ツインスクリュー処理機に、リード「L」を有し、その表面に螺旋状に形成された連続フライトを含む少なくとも一つの部品を含む第一処理ゾーンを設ける工程、ここで、フライトは、リード「L」の一部分において整数ローブフライトから少なくとも一度は非整数ローブフライトに変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して整数ローブフライトに戻るか、または、フライトが、リード「L」の一部分において非整数ローブフライトから整数ローブフライトに少なくとも一度変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して非整数ローブフライトに戻っており、少なくとも一つの部分ローブ部品が、第一整数部品(n)と第二整数部品(N)とを仲介しており;
− ツインスクリュー処理機にスチレン樹脂及びPPEを供給する工程;
− 少なくとも一つの処理ゾーンでスチレン樹脂を溶融させて溶融スチレン樹脂にPPEを溶解させる工程;及び
− ツインスクリュー処理機からスチレン樹脂とPPEとのブレンドを授受する工程;

- 処理ゾーンの終点近くで真空を適用して、処理中に放出された揮発性有機化合物もしくは気体を除去する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- スチレン樹脂とポリフェニレンエーテルとを含むブレンドであって、ポリフェニレンエーテルが10から50パーセント(w/w)の濃度範囲内であり、少なくとも45から60の白色度を有するブレンド。
- ポリフェニレンエーテルが10から12パーセント(w/w)の濃度範囲内であり、少なくとも60の白色度を有する、請求項14に記載のブレンド。
- ポリフェニレンエーテルが20から30パーセント(w/w)の濃度範囲内であり、少なくとも50の白色度を有する、請求項14に記載のブレンド。
- ポリフェニレンエーテルが50パーセント(w/w)であり、少なくとも45の白色度を有する、請求項14に記載のブレンド。
- ペレッドまたはストランドの形態である、請求項14に記載のブレンド。
- ペレットまたはストランドの表面上に見える、ポリフェニレンエーテルとスチレン樹脂によって形成される暗色点が、10パーセント未満である、請求項18に記載のブレンド。
- スチレン樹脂が、スチレン樹脂のホモポリマー、スチレン樹脂のコポリマー、またはこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項14に記載のブレンド。
- スチレン樹脂が、ポリスチレン、汎用ポリスチレン、高衝撃ポリスチレン、スチレンアクリロニトリル、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン樹脂、またはこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項14に記載のブレンド。
- スチレン樹脂及びポリフェニレンエーテルを有するブレンドの調製のための共回転式ツインスクリュー処理機であって、
− リード「L」を有し、その表面に螺旋状に形成された連続フライトを含む少なくとも一つの部品を含む第一処理ゾーンを含み、ここで、フライトは、リード「L」の一部分において整数ローブフライトから少なくとも一度は非整数ローブフライトに変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して整数ローブフライトに戻るか、または、フライトが、リード「L」の一部分において非整数ローブフライトから整数ローブフライトに少なくとも一度変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して非整数ローブフライトに戻り、少なくとも一つの部分ローブ部品が第一整数部品(n)と第二整数部品(N)とを仲介しており;
− リード「L」を有し、その表面に螺旋状に形成された連続フライトを含む少なくとも一つの部品を含む第二処理ゾーンを含み、ここで、フライトは、リード「L」の一部分において整数ローブフライトから少なくとも一度は非整数ローブフライトに変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して整数ローブフライトに戻るか、または、フライトが、リード「L」の一部分において非整数ローブフライトから整数ローブフライトに少なくとも一度変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して非整数ローブフライトに戻り、少なくとも一つの部分ローブ部品が第一整数部品(n)と第二整数部品(N)とを仲介しており;
第一及び第二の処理ゾーンは、少なくとも一つの運搬部品または少なくとも一つの混合部品、あるいは少なくとも一つの運搬部品と少なくとも一つの混合部品との組み合わせによって分割されており、まとまってスチレン樹脂を溶融させ、溶融スチレン樹脂中にポリフェニレンエーテルを溶解させるように構成されている、共回転式ツインスクリュー処理機。 - リード「L」を有し、その表面に螺旋状に形成された連続フライトを含む少なくとも一つの部品を含む第三処理ゾーンをさらに含み、ここで、フライトは、リード「L」の一部分において整数ローブフライトから少なくとも一度は非整数ローブフライトに変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して整数ローブフライトに戻るか、または、フライトが、リード「L」の一部分において非整数ローブフライトから整数ローブフライトに少なくとも一度変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して非整数ローブフライトに戻り、少なくとも一つの部分ローブ部品が第一整数部品(n)と第二整数部品(N)とを仲介し、第三の処理ゾーンが、第二の処理ゾーンから、少なくとも一つの運搬部品または少なくとも一つの混合部品、あるいは少なくとも一つの運搬部品と少なくとも一つの混合部品との組み合わせによって分割されており、第一及び第二の処理ゾーンと共に、溶融スチレン樹脂中にPPEを溶融及び溶解させるように構成されている、請求項22に記載のツインスクリュー処理機。
- 第一処理ゾーンが、リード「L」を有し、その表面に螺旋状に形成された連続フライトを含む二つの部品を含み、ここで、フライトが、リード「L」の一部分において整数ローブフライトから少なくとも一度は非整数ローブフライトに変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して整数ローブフライトに戻るか、または、フライトが、リード「L」の一部分において非整数ローブフライトから整数ローブフライトに少なくとも一度変形し、リード「L」の一部分において変形して非整数ローブフライトに戻り、少なくとも一つの部分ローブ部品が第一整数部品(n)と第二整数部品(N)とを仲介し、第一の処理ゾーンがツインスクリュー処理機の中間点より前に始まる、請求項22に記載のツインスクリュー処理機。
