Claims (4)
- 複数の気筒を有するエンジンの気筒列方向に延びるサージタンクと、
前記サージタンクの底面部から下方へ延びた後、前記サージタンクの前記エンジンとは反対側の側面部と前記サージタンクの上面部とを順次囲むように湾曲して前記複数の気筒にそれぞれ連結される複数の分岐管と、
前記複数の分岐管の配列方向で一端部に位置する一端側分岐管の側方を通過して前記サージタンクの上部に連結される吸気導入管と、を備えるエンジンの吸気装置において、
前記複数の分岐管を、その吸気流れ方向下流側端部から吸気流れ方向上流側端部に向うに連れて前記気筒列方向における位置が前記吸気導入管に近づくよう螺旋形状に形成し、
前記吸気導入管に、前記サージタンクの斜め上方から該サージタンクの上面部に連結される通路部を設け、
かつ、前記通路部の上面部を前記サージタンクの内側に延長した第1仮想平面を描出した場合、前記複数の分岐管の配列方向で他端部に位置する他端側分岐管の吸気流れ方向上流側端部に前記第1仮想平面が達するよう、前記通路部の上面部を傾斜させたことを特徴とするエンジンの吸気装置。 - 前記吸気導入管は、スロットルボディが取付けられるスロットルボディ取付面が形成されたフランジ部をその吸気流れ方向上流側端部に有し、
前記スロットルボディ取付面を前記気筒列方向と直交する方向に向けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの吸気装置。 - 前記通路部は、前記気筒列方向と直交する方向において互いに対向する上面部と下面部とを有し、
前記通路部の下面部を、前記一端側分岐管の前記気筒列方向における最外側部の吸気流れ方向上流側端部に斜め上方から連結したことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のエンジンの吸気装置。 - 前記一端側分岐管の吸気流れ方向上流側端部および前記他端側分岐管の吸気流れ方向上流側端部を通る第2仮想平面を描出した場合、
前記第2仮想平面が、前記通路部の上面部と平行に近づく方向に傾斜し、かつ、
前記複数の分岐管の全ての吸気流れ方向上流側端部が、前記第2仮想平面上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れかに記載のエンジンの吸気装置。
